Description of Work: Michael and his team did a complete backyard update. They provided a great design plan to visualize their thoughts as well as gave us good input to make sure we had the look and level of care that we wanted. Installation was very good along with follow up directions for care. Our backyard looks great.

 + -1 moreNOTHING SPECIAL. BOUGHT ABOUT THIRTY BALES OF PINESTRAW. I HAD SOMEONE ELSE PUT THIS UNDER AND AROUND BUSHES AND PLANTS.. WAS PRETTY GOOD PINESTRAW, NOT A LOT OF TRASH IN IT.
Description of Work: THE PROVIDER USED, LIKE A WALKIE-TALKIE, FROM INSIDE, WHERE I WAS PAYING, TO CALL THEIR OUTSIDE HELP, TO HAVE MY THIRTY BALES OF PINESTRAW, READY FOR ME TO PICK THEM UP IN A FEW MINUTES. IT WAS LIKE CLOCKWORK. MY ORDER WAS READY, AND TWO OF ATLANTIC AVE. GARDEN CTR. EMPLOYEES LOADED THEM IN MY PICKUP TRUCK. THEY WERE VERY CHEERFUL WHILE LOADING MY ORDER. I HAVE BEEN TRADING WITH THIS COMPANY FOR A LONG TIME, AND WOULD GIVE IT A HIGH RATING, AND A GOOD RECOMMENDATION.

 + 0 moreThis is the only place I go to get anything for my pond. Dean is such an expert, and I can call him and he'll help me fix a problem, even if it doesn't mean me coming into the store for that need. It's such a gorgeous place, and while I only spend time in the water gardening area, I'd go there for any gardening needs if I found the time to start gardening more. Highly recommended!
Description of Work: I love this store. I go there almost exclusively for my outdoor koi pond, and they have a guy there who is an expert with ponds (Dean). I often call and ask him advice, and also go there whenever I need new equipment, fish food, etc.

 + -1 moreThey do have staff on-site to help identify plants, make decisions for your yard, but not all of the staff are as knowledgeable as those at a place like Plant Delights. Still, the prices are reasonable (not dirt cheap) and the quality of plants is really good. They do have some NC natives in stock, which is rare amongst nurseries in Raleigh.
Description of Work: This report falls under the category of Greenhouses/Plant Nurseries. Atlantic Avenue is a decent place to purchase interesting, unique plants as well as more common shrubs, trees, herbs, vines, house plants, veggies. I've purchased several vines here that were not available at any other local nurseries - all have survived well and have grown to be very healthy plants.

 + -1 moreTHEY CAME TO MY HOME TO ACCESS THE YARD. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. THEY DREW UP A PLAN, THE OLD-FASHIONED WAY, WITH PENCIL AND PAPER. MY YARD LOOKS GREAT AND THE PLANTS ARE THRIVING.
Description of Work: THEY DESIGNED PLANTING BEDS AND A SCHEME FOR THE YARD OF OUR NEW HOME. THEY HELPED ME SELECT THE PLANTS AND PLANTED THEM FOR US.
