Mike contacted me immediately, set up a quick date, and their movers arrived on time as scheduled. We were only interested in staging furniture from a storage area in the basement to the rooms in a newly finished basement area. The guys worked quickly, were friendly, and handled our furniture with care. Value was excellent. Job well done.

They were available immediately & did good work. Forgot to have the put the grandfather clock back together (weights & pendulum). Otherwise a good job. A little expensive for the amount of pieces to be moved.

Professional, polite, and efficient. Great value for what I paid. Extremely trustworthy. I was a little nervous about hiring movers since I've never done that before but everything was flawless. I called over 10 different companies in the area before I found Athens. From the time I got my quote to the time that they moved my belongings they have been completely professional.

The 3 movers showed up on time. They were very personable and completed the job (loading 2 storage units onto a truck and unloading into a POD) quickly.

Needed to move a two bedroom apartment into a storage unit with less than a weeks notice. Easy and quick to set an appointment. They arrived on time. Mike and Nick were very cordial and professional. They took great care of my belongings from shrink wrapping, padding and placement into storage. Once I saw the storage unit, I was unsure if it all would fit into the 10x10 unit due to the size of a few of my items. I guess these guys are good at Tetris because they got it all in there with room for me place a few more items that I brought in later. Job took 3 hours from beginning to end. Mike and Nick did a fabulous job. Thank you! I will definitely be using them again when I return to Raleigh.

On time on quote friendy

We needed a local mover to move appliances & furniture into our garage temporarily in preparation for floors to be refinished. Athens Moving Experts handled the job without incident. They were on time, professional and a pleasure to work with!

They were great. Came earlier than planned which actually worked out better. Gave plenty of notice when they were coming. Took great care of our things while packing and carrying. Only took a little over two hours to take all the stuff out of our third floor apartment and move it into our townhouse. We only moved big furniture. Would definitely hire them for a bigger job. Price was great and as estimated.
