The 3-man team from Athens moved us out of our old house and into our new house in 4.5 hours! It was amazing to watch how quickly, efficiently, and safely they managed all that. Would definitely hire these guys again for our next move. Highly recommend!

Good job, quick scheduling and reasonable prices

Mike and his team were excellent to work with. They ran a little late, but they called to let us know. They worked quickly and efficiently, and certainly gave us a bargain for the quality work that they performed. They helped moved our grand piano with no issues at all, plus carried numberous heavy boxed to a third floor attic -- without complaint! Will definitely used this team again. Very, very professional! Alex and Mane were very careful, yet very efficient, when moving our furniture. They were very considerate as well. They also had the strength and skills to move very heavy and bulky furniture through very tight hallways and stairwells. Really enjoyed working with them.

Athens Moving Expert’s was absolutely wonderful to work with. I moved from my second-floor apartment to a new home and they did an amazing job. I had a team of three men who worked flawlessly together. They moved everything from a foundation bed to a stand up piano with ease. It took the team less than 2 1/2 hours to pack my one bedroom apartment and deliver it to my new house. I also made a request to go to my storage unit for the piano and some furniture and they were happy to oblige. This was the best moving experience I have ever had and would recommend Athens Moving Expert’s to anyone needing these services.

I had a terrible experience with this company, especially with the person in charge, Mike. The team of movers were courteous; however, they made several careless mistakes that made things more difficult for me. They left several things behind at my old place which resulted in us having to make an extra trip ourselves. They also left scuffs on the walls and spilled water from the washer all over my staircase; however, I was able to clean these things up afterwards. They also made some significant scratches to my brand new hardwood flooring and door, which I am not about to fix on my own. They also failed to tell me that they did not hook up my dryer properly or even bring the exhaust vent from the old house, which resulted in us making another trip out to the store to get a new one asap since I had just washed clothes. Any of these things on their own would not have been a big deal, but it was a lot to deal with all at once. The worst part of my experience was that when I called Mike several days later to discuss the damage to my flooring and door, he asked that I send him pictures of the damage. When I did so, he told me via text that I needed to get a repair estimate and he would pay for part of it. I don't understand what the point of an estimate would be if he was only willing to pay for part of it, and I felt like it was a hoop that he wanted me to jump through in order for him to have any accountability. When I said that I felt that wasn't fair that he pay for only part of it, since it was his team that did the damage, he argued that I did not purchase the extra insurance so he was not obligated to pay for any of it. Apparently the basic 'free' insurance only covers the things in your boxes and not any damage that they may do to your house! Beware! His team did not explain this to me when they offered the insurance, nor did they provide me a written receipt of explanation of insurance so I don't even know if it's truthful. In my opinion, this is not good, fair business practice. Mike was extremely rude during this text exchange, repeatedly telling me that he doesn't have to pay for anything. He offered to sell me an additional $800 of insurance in order to cover my damage after the fact, which likely would exceed the total cost of the repairs, anyway. I was very disappointed that he didn't offer some kind of monetary reimbursement as a good faith gesture to cover the damage. I will never use this company again in the future and I do not recommend this company. I feel that they have taken advantage of me as a customer.

Mike and the entire Athens Moving team are amazing. They are extremely customer focused, respectful, professional and prompt. We had them move our whole house + unpack a POD we packed and they worked very hard, protected our goods very well and took care during move-out and move-in.

I completed the form online and within minutes I got a phone call. I have moved 4 times in 4 years with different movers and these guys have been the best! they were professional, arrived on time, took the time to wrapped everything and did not scratch anything. I would recommend them any day!

Definitely recommended! These guys were extremely professional, they shows up on time and they worked hard. They made sure to wrap everything very well so nothing got damaged. One item did end up getting damaged while unpacking and the owner called me the very next day and took care of it completely. These guys really care about their business!

Make sure Mike does a walk through for each room of what you have on the phone. He did not for me. He quoted me $550 over the phone. The movers took 10 hours to move a 3 bedroom 1600 sq ft ranch. One of the bedrooms had one dresser in it, that's it. Moved 10 minutes down the street. Most of the boxes went in the garage in the new house because there were painters in the house. They had to do 2 trips because they didn't bring a big enough truck. Took an hour and a half to take my bed apart and 15 minutes to put back together. The movers were very nice, but took their time in the beginning. 10 hours was wayyyyyy to long to do this job. My final bill was $1,449!! After throwing a fit and giving Mike a chance to make things right, he did not. It cost me $2,000 to move from Arizona to NC. What's wrong with this picture? Will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Btw...never got a receipt. They were gone before I realized it.

When you have complaints about a company and its services, you can enumerate them all and then add a few that involve ethical business practices. Why is it that the English vocabulary is sometimes limited ( you have to get repetitive somewhere in the telling ) when you have nothing but praises, and thank you"s, and smiles to properly evaluate a company that soars far above the norm? Well, here are six that mattered to me: 1) Absolute respect for the client 2) One-to-One individualized customer services 3) Character of both Owner/Representative and the crew that packs and moves 4) They do what they say, when they say it, at the price they quote (and to my amazement, they don't skimp on making sure you pay only for what has been agreed to; 5) Mike Joudeh is with you from start to finish and I was able to negotiate and suggest all during the move ---it was really an effortless move for me with regard to a moving company. 6) They are all about being the best for the community. Bottom-line: I would hire then again. Second, I've already recommended them to others. Mrs. Jones
