+ -1 moreWe had a great experience with Athens Moving. The movers showed up on time and were able to move our two bedroom apartment to our new house in less than 2 and a half hours. They were hard working, respectful and really pleasant. This was the only company we contacted who charged by the minute after the first two hours. We ended up paying a third to half less than what other companies wanted to charge. I would absolutely use them if we move again!

+ 0 moreI had to arrange this move over the Memorial Day weekend. Omar at Athens called almost immediately after making an inquiry. After providing the details of the move and the locations he gave me an estimate of time and cost. There was excellent communication throughout the move. "H" and Joshua arrived at the agreed time. They were professional, prompt, pleasant and courteous throughout. They wrapped the items with blankets and shrink wrap. The entire move went smoothly. The items were delivered and placed. There was no damage to walls, floors or items moved at either end. The cost was fair and reasonable. I cant thank them enough for being available over the holiday weekend to make these arrangements, and for the movers to be considerate and helpful.

+ -1 moreAthens Moving Experts did a great job. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing movers. Coordinating with their representative was great from the start. They were professional and I felt had a lot of experience in moving and in what questions to ask in preparation for the move. I contacted 3 movers for estimates and felt most confortable going with Athens, even though they were not able to provide an estimate of the total costs before the move. On moving day, I had 3 men who showed up right on time, worked extremely efficiently, and were respectful of all my belongings. I was amaazed at how fast the moving team worked. I appreciated being able to pay with a credit card for no additional charge as well. If you are in need of movers, I definitly reccomend Athens Movings Experts.

+ -1 moreIt started with Omar on the phone. After a 5 minute conversation I realized I didn't need to look anywhere else. And Omar's follow up was spot on. Moe and Yayo exceeded my expectations. They worked at a consistent rate and were very professional and polite. They communicated continually, asking questions and clarifying as they progressed. Absolutely nothing was broken or missing. Moe was a great lead supervisor making certain throughout the process that he and I were on the same page. They represented Athens Moving Experts extremely well. I would hire a crew from Athens in a heart beat.

They expertly moved our furniture and office items, including a large, upright piano, from a storage facility to our house. The movers arrived on time, communicated well, and were very polite, professional, and conscientious. Everything was packed very carefully and carried into the house with great care. They didn’t leave a mark on our newly refinished floors and walls. You can’t go wrong with hiring this company!

I got quotes from 3 other companies who wanted to charge >800 for our job. Athens got it done for half that and did a wonderful job! We will recommend them to others and use them again (though hopefully not anytime soon!!)

+ -1 moreThe guys were really nice. At the beginning they started off at a wonderful pace but after they came to the new location to unload their pace started going downhill. They only moved the heavy and big items and about 6-8 boxes. Before they left the second location i asked the gentleman how long it would take them to unload and he stated 45 minutes to 1hr. When i left to run some errands and came back they were still moving so it took more than 45 minutes to 1hr it took 2.66 hrs to unload. Then after unloading one of my televisions were broken and the gentleman told me what i needed to do to get it fix by the company since i had insurance. Again the guys were really nice but at the end of the day i wasn't as happy as i was in the beginning.
