Description of Work: We purchased the "special" deal for cleaning and sealing the deck. We understood that it was for limited square footage for $199. When they arrived we were told that to do the rails, steps, extra 100 square feet and use a stain as opposed to water seal it would cost an additional $500. We were in a hurry to get the job done, so we agreed. They did a good job and we were pleased with results, but $700 seemed too high for the amount of time that it took (3 hours for 2 people). I think next time we may do it ourselves or at least get more estimates.

Description of Work: I had arranged for deck cleaning and staining. Because of the size of my deck there was no additional charge beyond the Angie List offer, but they quoted me a very fair price on power washing the house and the back barn. Done the same day. They came back two days later to stain the deck. Thrilled to pieces.
