Arv always showed up on time when the weather cooperated. If he could not come, he called. When he could come, he called to make sure it was convenient for me.

Arvind Patel did his usual immaculate job of cutting and replacing the structural components. First, we looked over the damage, and he described in detail what he needed to do, then we set up a day. As agreed, I obtained the supplies, and he brought the tools and know-how. The garage actually came out looking better than before the accident. Arvind is actually our first choice on any job around the house, and he does everything inside and out, except roofing. We have had him lay kitchen flooring, install gas logs, paint inside and out, install siding on our patio, patch the porch floor, tune our air conditioner, install lights in our bathroom, among other things. Having been an engineer, he's a perfectionist, unless you specify otherwise. Best of all, he's the most trustworthy person I know, and I routinely hand him my house keys without a second thought. He can work based on an estimate or time and materials, depending on what you arrange up front.
