Very professional. The office is very efficient with arranging appointments and with keeping customers informed. The technician was polite and professional. This was my second experience with them. I would certainly hire them again.

Rapid Repair Experts are a great team! From Jon who did the initial diagnosis on my system and was friendly, knowledgable and precise, to Tim who came up with a new system design that considerably improves consistent airflow to all rooms of the house, to Jose and his partner who stayed until 10:30 (in 32 degree weather) to make sure the install was perfect, to Don who diligently tracked down a problem with the new system, then switched out my thermostat, then switched it again before patiently walking me through the proper settings (turns out the problem with my new system was me setting the thermostat I bought all wrong). Even their support staff at the office was friendly and responsive. And their communication and reminder system was top-notch. I felt like they weren't going to leave until my new system was running perfectly. And they weren't going to stop coming back until I was satisfied. I honestly hope I never have to see any of them again. But, if I do have to call for service, I know they will take care of us. If you need HVAC service or a new system, do yourself a favor and call Rapid first. Actually, check that you installed your thermostat correctly first, then call them.

Overall, Rapid Repair lacked the technical skills and quality control to do my job adequately. The job required a drain pipe in my crawl space to be rerouted through the foundation wall to drain outside. Prior to the first attempt, the plumber visited my house and we discussed the way he would do the job. Once we agreed, he quoted the job - that first quote was very high. Eventually was settled on a more reasonable number. But when the work was performed, almost every part of it was done poorly, from the routing of the pipe (it was routed UP above the foundation wall, to make the hole easier to drill, but preventing the drain from functioning as intended) to the repair of errors made (an extra hole drilled in the wall, patched with a mess of calk mixed with leaves). My complaint was handled well enough, with the manager visiting my house and agreeing that the work did not meet their quality standards, agreeing to reperform the work. On the second try, the pipe was routed with some fall, to ensure it would drain, but the plumbers chose to once again avoid drilling the cinder block and to attempt to take the pipe through brick...which broke into pieces because they tried to go through the topmost brick. Those pieces and the gaps in the brick were repaired with another mass of caulk, inadequate and unattractive way to resolve the issue - we need a simple masonry repair, using some mortar. At this point I am done with Rapid Repair, they do not have the skill to do the job or the attention to detail to follow the agreed plan.

This are good plumbers, especially Mike! Mke and Conor were open and honest about the issues, stopped the issue from causing more damage, and ultimately remedied the problem. BUT If you call and get a gentlemen by the name of Kenny, IMMEDIATELY request someone else (Mike or Conor). He called me a liar and stated I wanted free work from him...over a misunderstanding in his notes. Very bad attitude and very disrespectful to customers. Dave, the GM worked hard to make the situation right and he did. Dave was empathetic and worked to accommodate and remedy the negative experience.

This was an emergency repair on the weekend. The answering service response was quick. The technician, Matt, quickly responded to the service call. Matt was extremely professional and customer focused. I am putting this company as my number one go to for plumbing services. Additionally, I would recommend this company to all my family and friends!!

Last year ARS came to our house two times to repair a brand new unit they installed. The unit is less then 3 years old. They came out twice to repair the unit and still were not able to fix it properly as we are having the same exact issue this year right now. When we called to have them come out to fix the problem, as it wasn't fixed last year -they first said it was covered under warranty then they said that it wasn't and now they are denying us service. This is such a great business model. You don't actually have to repair anything, just wait till the time is up and say it's not covered. Awesome

I could not be happier with the results. The technicians showed up as scheduled and had the entire project done in less than 7 hours. There was 8 trucks outside of my house with an army of technicians working inside and outside of the house. It was truly impressive. The work included installation of a new heat pump, pad, supply lines, air handler, plenum, dampers, circuit breaker, and digital thermostat. I also had 2 of the air returns modified/moved. It has been 3 months since installation and everything works as it should, and my electric bill has definitely dropped due to the more efficient system. 2 things to note: 1. I am still waiting on the inspection. 2. A month after installation, the AC stopped working. A tech was out within 24 hours and resolved the issue. Apparently, the installers had left a small portion of the original drain pipe but had not cleared it properly, so the system flooded which activated an automatic shut-off mechanism. The tech had it fixed within 20 minutes and was very apologetic about the whole thing. I have not had a problem since.

Tech came a little late but got the job done quickly and correctly! I could get back to work in my scheduled time

Rakeem is my new plumber god! I had done a hack job on a leaking shower spout. While I did get the leaking to stop, I could not get the water warm enough for a good shower. Also, I didn't use all of the parts in the package (oops!). Rakeem patiently and quickly took everything apart and made it work as it is supposed to. That was service one..done and done for the coupon price of $89.00 Service 2 came as a result of service 1. My emergency cut-off value was the old fashioned screw type and it didn't fully stop the water flow. With Rakeem present, I contacted Rapid Repair Experts again and they suggested I use another coupon to handle the second problem. Rakeem replaced the screw value with the more reliable ball valve and now I am good to go for another $119.00!!! Thanks to the Rakeem and to Rapid Repair Experts!!

Service person was professional and knowledgeable, but pricing was gouging to the extreme. Labor charge was somewhat expected although the replacement capacitor was $289 and could have been purchased for maybe $30 if I had the ability to do the repair myself.

I used an Angie's List coupon for Rapid Repair Experts to schedule an appointment and I'm really glad I did. Senior Plumber Chris and his apprentice Sarah performed the coupon's routine maintenance and inspection and advised me how to resolve some of my plumbing issues. They were prompt, knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and very personable. I will definitely call Rapid Repair Experts again for my plumbing needs.

Great job, very professional company

Successful (ultimately); took several visits by technician(s), including senior representatives, to finally isolate apparent causes of system malfunction -- full disclosure: we purchased an annual whole-house (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) scheduled maintenance plan from them at the beginning of this process, but would like to think they'd be as responsive to every customer.

The plumber did an excellent job, and was very professional, and courteous. I thought the price was a little high. They don't include the ~$80 trip fee in with any of the work they do. Other plumbing companies would apply that to a portion of the first hour worked. So ~$250 to unclog a toilet seemed high to me (as a reference, last year I paid $300 to another plumbing company to install a brand new toilet. Now, I went out and bought the toilet, so it was there waiting for the plumber, but still!). I am happy with the quality of work and I'd use them again, but I would make sure to have a clear expectation of work done and price.

Conor did a great job with fixing my toilet! When ordering the service, the associate (Kim) who helped me on the phone was extremely nice and helped me get a plumber dispatched ASAP. The Plumber, Conor, called ahead to confirm the time and location, and was even able to arrive early which worked in my favor! Once at my house, I received high quality work for a reasonable price, and Conor was careful to ensure my house looked exactly like it did when he walked in - he even put on booties in order to avoid tracking shoe debris. OVERALL - I'd highly recommend this company to anybody in the Raleigh area!

Water heater flush went well. Had the plumber inspect and give me an estimate on repairs. Got an estimate to change out two different tub spout diverters, and change cartridge in two faucets, also to change overflow hose on water heater. I was a little shocked with the estimates, because they seemed very high, so I got another estimate. Rapid Repairs estimate for the tub spout diverters was for $945.00 and I had to supply the materials. Another plumber gave me an estimate for approximately $300.00 and they supplied the spouts. Needless to say, I won't be calling them back, because I can't afford them. I believe Rapid Repair needs to take a look at their prices if they want to stay competitive.
