The visit went very well. The plumber knew exactly what to do to increase the water pressure. He was very nice and informative about what needed to be done. If there's a negative about the visit, I'd say that he was trying to upsell me to replace my current kitchen faucet with a $600+ model that his company offered. However, he wasn't insistent about it.

They were very good. I ended up spending a little more money than I wanted to. We were planning to use it to change a water heater in a rental property. He advised that there wasn?t anything wrong with the water heater. Once he unplugged it, we realized it was an electrical re-set issue, which he fixed for me at no charge. We then started talking about some general issues and he recommended that I get a bigger silt-filter, so that I don?t have to replace it so often. He also discovered an issue with a hose on the outside that had frozen during the winter.

They were extremely punctual. They came out to give estimate, which was very high and also gave quotes on other services we may need.

It' was fine. They came when they were supposed to and did the job. I had no issue.

They were just fine. They were very professional in quality manner, providing a proposal to us for the work, they did the work on time. We did have one or two miner issue following the work and they responded very quickly to our call to make correction or adjustments. . Good response, very professional, and high quality work. Overall grade, I will probably give them a B.

It went fine. Kind of a bummer that Ben didn't have the right tool to fix our faucet, but we understood. I think we at least know what to do now to fix it. Since he couldn't fix that, he gave some of our other plumbing a look and discovered a problem with our aging water heaters. We have friends who had their water heater burst in their attic, so I'm relieved to know of the problem. We're going to get them replaced ASAP.

They completed the job on time. The quality of their work was good.

I called ARS 7/1/14, and made an appointment for today. The time frame I was given was between 12-2pm. I got a call at 1:44 telling me that the plumber would be a little late. When I asked how much longer he would be the lady on the phone said an hour. I told her that an hour is not my idea of "a little late". The "plumber" showed up an hour and a half later. I showed him to the leaking faucets and the first thing he said was that I may have to replace them! He then proceeded to take the faucet handles apart, as he said that he had no idea what could be causing the leak. He then said that it may have to do with the hot water heater. At that point I asked if he was a licensed plumber and he said no. He explained that he was just a student, and didn't have enough hours in to get a license. I called ARS, and asked if they send out licensed plumbers to their customers homes, and I was told that they did. I explained that this guy slipped through the cracks and I's like a licensed plumber to be sent to my home. After futher explaining the situation, he suggested that I have "Doug" leave and they would send someone else out. I told Doug that someone was going to come and releave him and asked that he put the sink back together. I paid him for the service call in cash and he left. His supervisor then calles me to tell me that they can not help me, and asked that I call another plumber. I will do this with pleasure. I would not recomment ARS to anyone.

I purchased a coupon for $49 which was for a service call and $100 towards repair credits. I had purchased a complete sink kit from Lowe's who only charges $99 for the installation. The service person explained the process and said I should have no problem with the installation. I completed the installation but had trouble connecting the two lines (Hot and Cold) as the area under the sink did not allow for my size. When I turned on the water, the hot line leaked as I was unable to get the connection tightened correctly. So I went on Angie's List since I have a membership but haven't used it yet. I saw a coupon for $49 for a service call which included sink installs. The company ARS helped set up the appointment quickly and the provider was on time but what no one told me was the coupon was a gimmick/scam to get the person in the door so they could charge me more. I use the word gimmick because that is what the repair person said, "the coupon is a gimmick Angie's List uses to get the service call". He then proceeded to list off all types of rates and told me if he had to install the sink it would be $326. Lowe's only charges $99, how is a provider with these types of rates on Angie's List? He then told me the connection to the hot line was loose and for him to unscrew and reconnect the line it would cost $149 of which the coupon had a $100 credit. I asked could he help tighten the bolt for the fawcet since I could not get it tighten in which he stated this would cost an additional $77. I also asked if he could he tighten two of the bracket screws in the back of the sink to tighten the bowl down and this was going to be another charge. He told my wife to go to Lowes and get the to Lowes to get a tool to do this. So my experience using Angie's List is that the companies are not checked and held accountable. That the promotions are gimmicks to get providers in the door so they can upcharge your for simple tasks. I will not use Angie's List again and will look for free services and also contact the BBB to inform them of these practices.

So far, so good. ARS was price competitive and we chose them because of their reputation. We chose a larger company that would be around to stand behind their work and the products they installed. We continue to use them for their service plan to keep our systems in good working order.

It was excellent . After we saw how good they were we bought another toilet from them to install. They were knowledgeable and clean. They were on time. Two plumber came. If the deal was still on we would buy another one.

The repairman was at my neighbors house to diagnose the problem with his AC unit. I requested that he come and look at mine also. He indicated that he would for $99.00. He spent approximately 10 minutes looking at the unit and putting it on the tester. After his examination, he determined that my coils were bad and leaking freon and there were multiple other problems with the unit. He stated that it would likely cost $3000-4000 to fix or $7000.00-8000 to replace but he would send someone to give us an replacement quote. Shortly thereafter, a salesperson came by and gave us a quote of $7728 to replace the unit. We also had 3 additional calls from the company with other representatives seeking to schedule a time to come and give us a quote on replacement. That same day, the air conditioner that had only been making a louder than normal noise outside stopped working completely. I called another air conditioning company who inspected the unit, said the circuit breaker for the unit was bad and that I needed 2 lbs of freon. He also indicated that the noise I was hearing was simply the fan and can be replaced for a few hundred dollars when it stops working. My AC unit is working fine now and obviously did not need to be replaced. However, but for the second opinion, I would have spent approx. $8000 needlessly. The emphasis of the company clearly appeared to be on selling me a new unit.

It was fine. It went very smoothly. They did a good job on the installation. They provided good service. There were no problems.

I have never been disappointed by the folks at ARS Rescue Rooter and this was no exception. Unfortunately, my service call included the need for replacement of an entire AC/Heating unit (inside and outside units), which wound up being about $6,999 more than what I had been prepared for at the time, however that wasn't their fault. The initial service technician gave us the bad news about our existing unit, then before anything else recommended that we get a second opinion before proceeding. We did get a second opinion that confirmed the findings of the ARS tech, and called him back. He scheduled an appointment with a sales associate for a new AC/Heating system and I have to say that even that aspect of the process was quite unexpectedly NICE. The salesperson was not pushy, rather informative and very helpful in assisting us with choosing a system that best fit our needs and budget. The installation of the new system was scheduled within a fews after that. On the day of installation, 5 technicians arrived ON-TIME at our house, each introduced themselves and began working immediately. The entire old system was removed, with new system installed, tested and completed within about 4 hours. During that time, a customer service representative from ARS called us to ensure the team had shown up on time, and ask if we had any questions or concerns about anything yet. I will agree with some people in that ARS is not the cheapest provider out there, however I believe you do get what you pay for and they are top notch. All said and done, this was a fantastic experience and would highly recommend ARS Rescue Rooter to anyone in need of a new AC/Heating system.

The inspector was very punctual and professional and helpful . He identified what was wrong with my system and allowed me to get the ball rolling with my home warranty company on replacing and upgrading my HVAC. The salesman took no measurements did no load calculations. He merely planned to replace the system with the same tonnage that had been installed when the house was built. There was no intention of modifying the airflow in the ducts to heat/cool rooms better. In the end he offered me inferior equipment at a less than competitive price with no reason to buy a full system from him at all. I am very grateful for the inspection and would recommend them for that purpose. For replacement, I looked somewhere else.

It was a phenomenal deal. They took out the old toilet and installed the new toilet and took the old toilet away with them all for $250. They did a great job and I would use them again in the future!

e called ARS to replace an outdoor spigot, first technician felt our water pressure was too high. He found that it was and that our expansion tank was in the wrong place in regards to the pressure relief valve. He recommended that we replace the valve and move the tank to have it be in the proper place. Work was scheduled and a different technician, Doug, came out to execute the repairs. After Doug left we noticed the house had little to no water pressure. We were having company the following day (Saturday) so we called them and asked them to come out asap. After some back and forth on the phone a technician came out mid day Saturday (following day). He immediately recognized the valve was installed backwards (which was quite obvious as it had arrows on it pointing in which direction it needed to go) and that the tank was NOT moved. So essentially we paid for a new valve that was installed improperly as well as for moving a tank that was not moved. The third technician effected the repairs quickly and the water pressure was where it needed to be. He tested our pressure (which obviously the previous technician did not) and we were good to go. I asked to speak to a manager on Saturday, was told one would call, did not. It took 4 more phone calls to finally speak with someone. I spoke with Mr Dombrowski who was going to look in to this. He called me back said he was going to speak with the technician but that everything was now running fine.I would like to know if this technician was incompetent or just did not care about doing a good job. I was a little less than satisfied with his response as I feel an apology was in order.

The last time they came out, one AC wasn't working and it turned out to be because the AC condenser was leaking, which was because the drain line trap was clogged, keeping the condenser in water and corroding it. The drain trap had never been checked in 10 years and it was on their own maintenance checklist to do each visit. When I asked them to fix the system they didn't maintain properly, nobody who could do anything about it would take responsibility and and do anything if I could even get them on the phone which was nearly impossible.

We've been their customer for years and they've been professional. They're timely, knowledgeable, and thorough. Their prices don't seem unreasonable.

First of all, ARS was scheduled to come out on Friday. They didn't show up until 9:00 PM at night after I called them at 5:30 PM asking where the service person had been. Second the repair is reportedly $800 for a new TXV. The service person was professional and said since the unit is 8 years old that the evap roll will most likely be leaking in the next year or two. By replacing it both pieces will be replaced for $2000.00. A new unit would be better since the unit is running an older coolant that has been banned by the epa. Now I just bought two systems from ARS 8 years ago and the sales person never mentioned that if I bought these units they would have to be replaced because the coolant will no longer be manufactured. This is ridiculous! I am very disappointed in ARS. I plan to get a second opinion ASAP.
