Well. Tech was personable & thorough. Service was well worth the discounted price.

Don arrived after my scheduled time, but he did call ahead of time to let me know he was coming from Zebulon and what time he was expecting to get there. Once Don arrived he promptly provided me with a business card and went right to work. He was very thorough and quickly determined the issue. Don was even helpful enough to provide tips and teach me a few things about my A/C units. Don was able to provide me with a written estimate while he was at my house. Unfortunately, their prices were almost twice ($1,300 vs $700) as much to replace the same parts as the first company. Besides pricing, the only other gripe was the sales pitch and push from Don to get their maintenance plan (with monthly payments) and to even consider getting a new unit ($4,000-$5,000) again with monthly financing payments from them. Overall though Don was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. If price isn't a deciding factor, I would recommend Rapid Repair Experts.

It's a preventative maintenance plan. You pay annually, they check your system twice a year. There is one person who comes to do the work. It usually takes an hour and a half for them to complete the work.

The technician was excellent, and we're very pleased with the unit and follow up service.

It is apparent that Dave Dombroski, the GM, is comitted to professionalism across his staff and customer satisfaction; very nice gentleman. I had spoken with a few of the customer service representatives and they were all very courteous and attentive; special props to Amy who took on "ownership" of helping me with my HVAC issues. On installation day, Jose & Santos arrived promptly, were friendly and very professional. They got the job done perfectly and are a credit to their profession.

Very well. Never had a serviceman go over the whole unit in a slow careful analsis.

Very courteous. Knowledgeable. On time. Friendly. Needed to replace a part in my AC unit outside as it turns out. $250. I didn't want to spend but atleast when it's hot this summer I won't have to worry about the system failing (I hope!).

Don was right on time, and gave a call ahead when he was 20 mins again. He checked the units for over an hour and then was very detailed and explained the mystery of cooling and efficiency as best he could. A down-to-earth person, who has been in the business for a long time. We just scheduled a follow-up appointment with Rapid Repair.

They were amazing. Quick on coming to the house, great price on the estimate, installed it quickly (even though we weren't in a rush) and professional and friendly throughout. Ironically, it's been cold outside ever since they came and the only thing not working is the cheap thermostat I had that they installed for me. Amazingly, when they called to check in and I told them it wasn't working right, they offered to send a tech to look at it. I shouldn't have tried to save money with mine and should have gone with the thermostat they included.

I'm very pleased! Raymond was cordial, knowledgeable -- very willing to answer all my questions. Helpful in letting me know my options, but not pushy. I can not imagine a better representative for a service company.

Thorough inspection. No repairs necessary

The offer is bit misleading. It clearly says this offer is for both Air-Conditioning and Furnace Inspection but the Technician said since it is winter they can only do Furnace Maintenance which is fair. But it should have been advertised that way on the offer. I paid considering it is both for Air conditioning & furnace so I am not sure if I over-paid just for the furnance. Apart from that, the technician was very professional, he answered all my questions and recommended future upgrades for better efficiency. He also explained the membership plans thoroughly.

Fantastic!! We knew that our system was not working correctly and wanted a professional to come out and confirm. Raymond diagnosed the problem within 20 mins. Raymond explained in detail the issue that he found and what was needed to repair. He explained our options and what consequences those actions could possible have. Raymond was professional, on time and extremely detailed!!

I’ll save you lots of wasted time and money. Call Rapid Repair for your Air Conditioner repair or replacement. That is enough said… now read on for a full explanation. My name is Jim and I needed to replace my 13 year old AC. It had been repaired once two years ago and it was now starting to fail again. I wasn’t going to put any more money into it so I called ALL the major AC repair companies in the Raleigh area for estimates. They all were within a few hundred dollars on their estimates all with different brands. So.. doing my homework, I find that there are only 6 AC makers making 150 brands.. and only 3 companies making all the parts for those units… so essentially they are all about the same. The Major difference is how they are Installed. Bill.. the estimator from Rapid Repair gave me his best no haggle price right off the bat. No calling his manager.. no calling me back after he left with a better offer... just an honest bottom line price. I put him off until I heard from everyone.. And in the end, it was the best offer. The next morning the installation crew was setting up the unit.. Jose’, Tino, Sontos, Kyle, Brad.. all made sure of a professional installation. Their attention to detail was impeccable. The outside unit.. perfectly level. All connections.. sealed, soldered, and taped. I could tell there were all perfectionists.. like me. This is how I would have installed the unit If I were doing it myself. Then once it was up and running they spent another hour making sure the system was cooling and heating like it was designed. The next morning Don and Raymond (quality control experts) came out and did a final check. They spent the better part of a day making sure all the pressures were within spec. The electric readings were where they were supposed to be… and once they were happy, signed off on the entire project.. When they left I had the feeling that this was as good as it gets. That AC unit runs like a sewing machine and my wife and I swear that the whole house is warmer.. no cold spots like before. I am told the unit is 20% more efficient than the old unit and to expect some savings on my electric bill.. only time will tell. As you can tell I can not say enough about these guys. They are not the biggest company in town.. the don’t have the fanciest trucks either.. but they DO appreciate your business. They will bend over backwards making sure that your new system is installed correctly and that you are 100 percent satisfied.

Terrible. We purchased a new unit from ARS approx a little over 4 years ago at the time and we have been with them many years during two house purchases.. Rep came and diagnosed a broken blower, which was working early during his visit and a leaking evaporator coil, which we discovered was part of a class action suite. Very hot during this time and the repairman didn't know if they had the part and couldn't tell me until the next day. The bottom line is that ARS should have picked up if not all the 2,000 dollars. When our unit is ready to be replaced, I'm elsewhere, not ARS.

Worst experience from beginning to end. Prior to this, my overall experience with ARS was great.

Terrible! We've been a ARS customer for many years and always paid for the annual Home Service Plan. We purchased this Rheem heat pump unit from ARS approx. 4 years ago at that time with the recommendation of the ARS sales reps who visited the house to access thee need. In June of 2016 in the early evening my wife called to explain no ac and this was. She called ARS and the rep came about several hours later. After performing his diagnosis he explained that the blower motor broke and the evaporator coil was leaking. He indicated that he didn't know if they had another at the shop in downtown Raleigh and would let me know the next day.

Plumber was efficient and completed fixture change to our complete satisfaction. We will be calling them again for kitchen change.

One guy came out this morning at 10 o'clock. Then another guy came this afternoon and cleaned the drains. Overall all most of the guys that came out have been professional and courteous. The second guy didn't charge me. On some things I think they should come out faster cause we have a warranty on that, but on water problems after the storm they are pretty busy. I called them Monday night and they came out today. They was supposed to be here Thursday. They called me and told me he would be here today. They do a variety of things and that's what we have been getting from them.

We're very satisfied with the services we've received from ARS.
