He arrived on time, was friendly, professional and proved to be very knowledgeable and skilled in his profession. He quickly identified the problem with my water heater and had it fixed in a short amount of time. I am very impressed with ARS and will use their services again in the future for any plumbing needs. Michael with ARS Plumbing in Raleigh has done recent and excellent work for us by replacing three toilets. He is excellent to work with and very thorough. He came to stop two bathroom faucets (sink and tub) from dripping. The final cost was $1,005 to replace the cold and hot water rubber gaskets. The price included two ARS discounts or it would have been over $1500. Afterwards I checked a comparison from another plumbing company. For 1 faucet it was $267. The extremely high and unexpected cost unto ARS Raleigh office, and not Michael. He did what he could to discount our final cost. Next time I will shop for a price comparison versus automatically giving ARS Plumbing Raleigh the small job. Shame on me!

We ordered a technician from ARS for an evaluation of our HVAC which was working fine. Technician found several problems for a total repair of approx $6,000. They conveniently arranged for company sales person to come and try to sell us a new AC. We hired another HVAC company to come out for a second opinion. The second tech only found that a flow fan motor needed replacing. He charged for servicing the unit and replacing the motor. $645.

Everything from install to deciding which unit to pick was excellent

ARS did a very good job installing my air conditioning unit. They took the time necessary to move a piece which was in the way of installation. Then it was put back in the appropriate manner and when a part didn't work, they rigged it to work until the part could be replaced. The part was replaced the next day and the AC works as it should.

After checking the system, the tech told me my ac was leaking refrigerant from the inlet, the outlet and under my house. However, the dual start capacitor had also failed. I was told that the bare minimum would be to replace the capacitor and then continue evaluating the leaks. I asked for the price. Just about $500 with tax. $99 for the service visit and... wait for it... $385.00 for the Flux capacitor. It must have been a plutonium powered Flux capacitor that was quoted because the direct replacement part for my unit RETAILS FOR $15.00. ALL DAY EVERY DAY. Removal and replacement involves 3 screws and 4 slide off/slide on wires. 60 seconds and done. After pointing out that applying a 2400% markup to a potentially life threatening situation during a pandemic would be a textbook definition of price gouging, and also informing the customer service manager of my intention to report them to every agency that has any jurisdiction over home repair companies, they reduced the price to $199 plus tax. Mysteriously, the **leaks** must have fixed themselves because they were not mentioned again. The test equipment showed no issues once the $15 part (which I wound up paying $100 for) was replaced. These guys are scammers and thieves. Stay far away. BTW, they did initially offer me either the senior or military veteran discount since I qualify for both. 5% was more insult than benefit. Also it was not applied to the final agreed to price.
