Anderson Painting and Power Washing

The owner, Nathan Anderson, gave us a price and was able to meet our pressing schedule. His crew did an excellent job preparing the walls. They were dirty and had many holes. I selected to colors of paint and was not satisfied with one of the colors. Nathan was very cooperative in getter a lighter color and finishing the job in a timely manner. Nathan had recommended a lighter color in the beginning. He was right. Next time, I will take his advice. Nathan was very responsive and friendly. I would definitely recommend him and will likely use him again.

Bought the deal and Nathan visited the house to look at the job. He advised that they would be able to complete all the work in the time scheduled. We set the appointment for noon two days later. The painters showed up at 9am which was fine since we were home as other contractors were doing work. We had a 10x12 room to paint. This was done by Bruce who put on 2 coats. He did an excellent job and we were very satisfied with his work. This was a home that we just bought and the second part of the job was to repair all of the nail and screw holes left in the walls by the previous owner who had hung many items in house. This portion of the work was done by the helper. We did have the paint which was identified by room and the paint was placed in each room. This part of the job was done in a very poor fashion. The spackling was very sloppy with a lot of it dropped on the floors. Many areas were missed and had to be pointed out. Paint was put on thick and in some areas it was running. A drop cloth with wet paint was dragged around the house leaving paint on wood floors. It also appeared the paint was on his shoes and tracked around one room in the home. I pointed out many of the problems with the work and they were not corrected properly. In my opinion this should have taken about 3 hours to complete and it was not finished. He also bent the lids on the can when removing making it hard to close and seal the cans. I did read all the good reviews on Angie's list and I agree that Nathan and Bruce lived up to the reviews. Just a caution to find out the background of the people coming to do the work.

Provider did a good job touching up some areas on the exterior of my house

Some painting contractors did not want my business, because it was a small job (guest bathroom), and the first task was scrubbing off wallpaper glue. I am glad I found/chose Anderson. They do good work, for a good price. They went the extra mile to meet my expectations. The next time I need painting estimates - Anderson will be first on the list.

They did a great job have used them 3 times now for various different things. Very detailed, prompt and always preformed quality work. We like them a lot because they do little things without being asked, a little touch up here and there when they see it. We are selling our current home but will be calling them for our future home paint jobs. Definitely use them, Anderson is great!

Job went well. Crew was always courteous and professional. During the painting, there was always a supervisor onsite for consultation. Price was as agreed. During the job, some decisions on color and repair/replacement of trim were made after consultation. Cleanup was fine.

The service turned out fine. I had them paint the exterior of the house. I paid an additional fee to have them do some extra work. They did a lot of repair work to the cedar siding. A crew of 4-5 came out and completed the job in 2 days. They were very neat in their work. They taped off the windows and did not disrupt the shrubbery. They were efficient and quiet workers. They were great with the cleanup afterwards. They made scheduling the deal easy.

Nate had amazing product knowledge

Interior walls were painted and looked good, they repaired all nail holes and minor damage prior to painting. The trim was touched up where needed and ceilings painted. The doors, which were 50 years old and covered in flaking paint, were scraped and painted. The front door was separating a little, but this was filled prior to painting. The only complaint I had was that they either didn't use thick ceiling paint or just put on a single coat, since I could make out ceiling areas that had been patched. They finished in the time promised and matched the paint color to the existing walls without a color code.

Very professional. Repaired several problems without extra charge. I.e fixing roofing shingle issues as it would effect the siding and trim.

Nate Anderson, the owner, quoted a good price for this work. It's a big house with a large deck, and the trim needed a lot of prep. They showed up on time with a large crew of about 7 and spent about 3 - 4 days. On subsequent days, about 4 - 5 crew would show up. The sanding left very little dust and they left the worksite clean. They switched crew bosses on the last 2 days, and I wasn't as happy with the results on the trimwork on the 2nd floor, as I was on the 1st floor. When I mentioned I wasn't happy with some of the work on the 2nd floor, Nate responded immediately. He sent the original crew boss back with another painter to fix up all the problem areas. The trim and doors all look great now! The outside decking and garden stairs look great too. We used a semi-transparent stain, to give the deck longer lasting protection, and I'm pleased with how it all looks and optimistic that we won't need to stain again in 2 years. The crew was careful to protect the plants & shrubs surrounding the deck. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Anderson Painting. I've used them before and I'll use them again.

Nate came out and took a look at what needed to be done. He emailed me a quote within a day or two which was reasonably priced and included an Angie's List discount. I accepted the bid and we were in constant contact about what I needed done and when he was going to do it. One of his employees came out and performed the work in stages over about a 7-day period. Nate's employee was quiet and professional. Unfortunately I don't remember his name, but he did good work and everything looked expertly done. I would definitely use Nate again in the future and have already recommended him to another person. He even sent a Thank You card!

I was hopeful they would have gotten more done, but they did a pretty good job. There was some overspray (splatter) on the walls (they painted trim), but Nate offered to come back and clean that up. Once they do that - I'm sure I'll convert the overall B to an A. I plan on hiring them again for another day. I would use them again.

I called Nate to schedule an estimate to paint my house on both exterior and interior. It was a complicated process, as my interior designer had specific ideas and processes for the walls and ceilings. The most difficult being painting the interior ceilings in high-gloss white paint. Nate showed up on time, and I was impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. The project went very well, despite a long, rainy summer causing some delays. He was able to work around the weather issues and did a fantastic job. His crew is both trustworthy and very skilled. They cleaned up at the end of every work day, and was always on time and happy to accommodate changing plans, colors, etc. The quality of Nate's work is something you would find photographed in Architectural Digest! He did a phenomenal job with the high-gloss ceilings (he had to isolate the area with plastic. Spray-painted and sanded for days, until it was PERFECT! The ceiling has 9-11 layers of paint, and looks amazing.). The exterior of the house was also challenging, as we had to remove commercial sized glass awnings in order to paint the framework. Again, Nate handled it perfectly and the results were fantastic. After the job was done, he came through the house with a fine-toothed comb, and picked out very slight flaws in the paint finish, marked them, then came back and fixed them. Describing Nate as a perfectionist, with an eye for detail is an understatement. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

He showed up at exactly the scheduled time with a large crew. Worked hard the 1st day. Smaller crew showed up the 2nd day and completed the job. They did an excellent job and I would recommend them in a heartbeat and I will definitely call them back for future jobs. I felt that their quote for the job was so fair and honest that I did not even call for a 2nd estimate. I called to be put on his schedule and there was very little wait.

The rooms look great and I was very happy. I would definitely use them again.

Nate and his crew showed up promptly at the agreed upon start time with everything that they needed to do the job. He and his crew were very polite and professional. They made sure to cover everything in canvas to protect our carpet and furniture. They were able to get the job done in a single day (as estimated by Nate) and we are extremely pleased with the results. The communication with Nate and his wife regarding the estimate, scheduling, and work was great. We even got a follow-up card from them in the mail. They provide customer service at a level that is rare these days. I will definitely use them the next time we need painting done and have (and will continue to) recommended them to our friends. Overall, the short of it is that they provide great service and results.

I could not be happier with Anderson Painting. Nate came out to see the space on the same day I called, sent me an estimate the next day, and started two days after that. His crew worked quickly and impeccably, and the price was very reasonable. I would hire them again in an instant.

Hired Anderson Painting to paint the master suite in my rental property. It took a little phone tag to get the date scheduled. Once scheduled the painters showed up on time, worked diligently, and did a very good job. The room looks great.
