I contacted Ms. Anderson and was berated for not tendering check to "Herbert Anderson , her father, rather than "Anderson Moving Company" for which I had originally contracted to pack and store my property. Further, Ms. Anderson refused to release my contractors? real property until she was paid in full and remitted to Herbert Anderson. As the dispute was between me and the "company" I relented and paid the $1700 in full as Ms. Anderson was holding my third parties property "hostage" until I paid in full. The Wendell Police were called but the officers informed my contractor that this was a civil dispute and there was nothing they could do.
