+ -1 moreSounds like all pretty simple stuff but I'd already replaced the exterior outlet once and been told by a big box store employee that there was probably more of a wiring problem if I was putting in a 3rd GFC outlet and they kept burning out. I figured the loss of lights and outlets was a continuation of that wiring problem. Al resolved several problems that I feared would be much more involved and costly. He was able to come the day I called and on time to the minute.
Description of Work: I lost electricity a room addition while blowing off the deck. An exterior outlet which had previously been replaced was again burned out so I used the interior outlet right behind it & blew everything out. Turns out it was a tripped breaker but the room is wired off a separate panel box for basement wiring and I didn't recognize the thrown breaker in the 2nd box. He replaced the exterior outlet that wasn't working and thought it was probably getting water in it - wasn't caulked & sits right below a problem corner for rain runoff. While I caulked the outlet he worked on deck lights I've had trouble with & told me what to do to keep them working. He also cleaned off the gutter corner to try keep the outlet dry. He then corrected wiring on a basement double pole switch which refused to work at both switches.

Description of Work: The work included terminating some old wiring, adding two new duplex outlets, and installing a 100 amp transfer switch and a 100 Amp fusible disconnect switch for future generator connection.
