I did not actually get the work done because the person who came out to do the "free estimate" was one of the most rude persons I have EVER had the misfortune of having met. I do not know if this was the owner or a person that does estimates. He kept saying that he had "come all the way out here(Wake Forest) from Raleigh, and that he was doing ME a big favor by coming. He kept saying that he was really hungry and resented that I asked some questions about a project that would cost over $3,400, which I was repeatedly reminded was their minimum charge. Then, because he was doing me such a BIG favor of giving me an estimate, which he repeatedly said, he accused ME of being rude. It's too bad. The company had good reviews, but if they resent doing "free estimates", or resent coming "all the way from Raleigh to Wake Forest, they should decline to come at all. I do not appreciate being talked to or treated this way.

Stephen was pleasant, cordial, and punctual. Discussed all of the variety of work to be done, talked over options for various things. A few days later I received the estimate and accepted. The Alliance crew showed up and spent a day doing the work with great attention to detail and care. The result was excellent and they showed the same attention to detail and care with the cleanup. You wouldn't be able to tell they'd been there aside from the lovely result. Would definitely hire again.

Randy and his outstanding team did an amazing job not only when installing the paver walkway, but helping guide us with ideas and suggestions. Because the area gets so much shade and grass has a hard time growing, decided to use high quality artificial grass. His installers are some of the nicest and hardest workers, and they take great pride in what they do. Without reservation, will use again, and recommend to those who are interested in top notch work.

I couldn't be more thankful that I found Randy and Jose to clean up the mess a bad contractor left me ([*** Link removed ***] and [*** Link removed ***] Randy and Jose came out several times to assess the damage and find a way to utilize the partial amount of materials that were bought by the previous contractor. They did a great job matching and coordinating the block and colors which is not as easy to do as it sounds. Jose and his crew were maticulous in his cuts and leveling. Randy explained everything to me and answered ALL of my questions with such patience and understanding with what I had just been through. These guys worked 10-12 hours every day until they got the job complete. Not only was the quality of work impecable but he came in at a very reasonable price. I would recommend Alliance Landscapes to everyone.

I needed a complete overhaul of my front and backyard, both of which were filled with too-mature plants and weeds galore. The front yard between the circular driveway and the street contained a very large hodgepodge "garden" which may have been lovingly tended to by previous owners, but was neglected and overgrown. The backyard had an unusable slope, uneven ground and a ton of weeds and random plants. Randy gave me a reasonable quote to tear everything out, level the backyard and install a retaining wall, and sod both the front and back yards. Unfortunately, rain delayed our start by several weeks, but once it was clear enough to start, Randy and his crew jumped right in clearing everything out with a Bobcat and digging out the huge bushes in the front. In a matter of a few days, the retaining wall in the backyard was built and the yard was leveled and graded for optimum drainage. The sod arrived a day or two later and I had a brand new yard! In a matter of a week, the landscaping in the front and back of my 1/3 acre lot was completely overhauled and it looks AMAZING. Neighbors are constantly stopping to comment on how incredible it looks. I was very impressed with Randy's punctuality and professionalism through the whole project, and he even provided documentation for me to submit for HOA approval of the project before starting. He's a great, honest guy, and his crew works really hard and they do a great job. I highly recommend Alliance Landscaping for a large project like mine.

Randy and his crew were fantastic. Everyone worked hard and the results were wonderful. Addressed our troublesome drainage issues and the resulting work has proved very successful, especially with recent downpours. New front walkway and retaining wall look great. Driveway work was also done very well. Randy and his crew were professional, punctual and very hard-working. Planning on having them come back for additional work in the fall. Jose, Randy, and Teo (and crew) did an awesome job building us a wall on the far side of our pool. The wall had to be engineered due to the height, which most of the hardscapers we had out shied away from. Alliance worked with an engineer to design the wall and built it to their specifications. Additionally, they did some additional work for us at my request which wasn't included in the initial estimate, such as putting in fencing and burying electrical. Getting town approvals took a while, but once it was approved, they rocked and rolled (despite heavy rain) and were done in a few short days; they are workaholics! They came in at budget, which was very competitive with other hardscapers who were not going to engineer wall. Highly recommend these guys and will plan on working with them again!

Randy and his team did a terrific job on landscaping our backyard! It was a muddy mess and 24 years of debris had collected on our brook bank that also had sections with major erosion issues. The Alliance team fixed/ cleaned it all out and our yard size increased! Randy helped us select a hardy sod that will be great with our dogs and with the shady areas. It all looks beautiful! The Alliance team will be back in the fall to do our front yard and some patio work. Can’t wait!! This is a team that does quality work for an affordable price!!!

The Alliance crew was effective and thorough when doing our residential job, and Randy was professional and thoughtful whenever we talked with him. We liked their work so much that we turned around and hired them for further work within a week.

Let me first state, bluntly, that I have no regrets hiring Randy and his team with Alliance Landscapes. Being and Architect myself, I deal with with different contractors on a daily basis, monitoring construction and quality control for my clients. Randy does free estimates and turns them around in a timely fashion. He was helpful and patient throughout the permitting process. This project required a retaining wall permit (any wall over 5'-0" tall in Wake county needs one) and a septic re-alignment permit. After we finally had permits in hand, and they began work, the project was completed in 3 weeks. This project took place in August, so you can imagine how hot it was outside. The team works 12 hour days. It was pretty amazing watching them do such a labor intensive project in the high temperatures. Having a wife who works from home, there was always a concern of having a construction crew around the house. This concern was quickly diminished. They were always courteous to my wife and neighbors. Cleaned up after themselves each day. Got along with our dogs and gave them their space when they needed it. Even took our garbage and recycling cans in from the street on garbage day. Having a project this size, there are going to be some bumps in the road. Whether it be unforeseen conditions or tweaks in the design as they went. Like I said I was an architect, so there were design changes I wanted during construction. Randy and his team worked with me without any complaints and were upfront and reasonable with costs associated with the changes. They rolled with unforeseen conditions and provided me with the solutions before executing them. Randy, Teo, Jose and the rest of the team were very professional and a pleasure to be around. If I had the opportunity to work with contractors like them on a daily basis, my job would be much easier. I highly recommend Randy and his team.

The project went great. I had several estimates from Angies list and others. Why i picked Alliance : 1. during the initial meeting it was important to me that the person involved directly with the project was the one doing the estimate. Randy was very professional and easy to work with. 2. Price is important but not as important as the prior recient reviews. Landscape companies are difficult to rate since the crews change often. I bought the river rock, Alliance picked up the rock with a dump trailer. I was afraid that a big dump truck would damage my new asphalt driveway. The project took 2 days. This included putting down weekblock, brick edging( took the longest time), adding a new drain basin, putting down 12 tons of Tennessee River Rock and powerwashing my paver walkway. Also what impressed me was that Alliance hires veterans, as a veteran myself I appreciate that. Randy not only wants a happy customer but he treats his crew as family. The crew worked hard and did an excelent job. I will use them again on my next landscape project.

There was no charge for the estimate. As a matter of fact, I even had to change the quote they already gave me more in my favor, and they had no problem re-quoting. They really are a good company. They left it up to me whenever I wanted the work to be done. I went from doing sod to grass seed. We all know that sod is much more than grass seed. I kind of switched my mind. They had no problem at all. If I want it done in the fall they'll make time in the fall, or if I want it in early spring when the weather is not that hot.

They are the best ever. As a matter of fact, I have them coming back in the late fall or early spring for another job I am thinking of. They did an excellent job. Their estimate was far better than any other's that came in. I don't know the final cost because after they were here we added things in. They are so easy to deal with it's unbelievable; everyone of their workers. I would use them more and more. If I need anything done, they would be the first one's I call. They did everything in a short amount of time and the quality is excellent.

We were referred to Randy by another landscaping company and so glad we stumbled upon him! We had very specific needs for our yard (retaining wall, sod, walkway, irrigation, and patio) and Randy delivered on all of them! I was most impressed with the crews level of hard work (long 12+ hour days), attention to detail, and courteous behavior. Randy was at the site every day to answer any questions I had and was always readily available. I also appreciated him staying within our budget. The crew came back after the project was finished to power wash the driveway and cul-de-sac (from the dirt being brought in). I thought that was a very nice touch of leaving the project cleaner than you found it. A+ work. Thank you, Randy and team--we've gotten so many compliments and love it!

These guys have totally transformed the look of our house and added $$$ in value! Everything turned out beautiful! This team is really good, professional, friendly, and very talented! We will have them back to help us with future landscaping projects. The work was done in a timely manner and they did not cut corners when installing the paver sidewalks and patio; these new hardscapes should last for many years to come. Highly recommend them!

Four people came to complete the service. It took them 2 days, which was a combine total of 14 hours. The workers were nice and genuine.
