I got estimates from several companies and this guys gave me the best price for the best unit (Trane dual fuel pack). It was the end of the year when everybody needed to take advantage of the government and Progress Energy rebate, so they were very busy. So I didn't get too upset that they were not really on time. Installation guys came on time though and worked hard. They didn't install the thermometer properly so I had to call and it was fixed pretty easily. I did suggested this company to my friend and would recommend them to others.

We invited several companies to provide recommendations for what we needed, as well as estimates as to costs. We got the list of companies to come out from Angies List. We were very satisfied with the proposals and costs from Comfort Systems and Allen Kelly. They were comparable in many ways. We chose Allen Kelly because their costs were lower and they gave a bigger discount to Angie's list customers. Both companies were also helpful in that they saw that the earlier systems that had been installed were not installed properly and according to code. That sent up lots of red flags, and confirmed that next time we will not use a company that is not approved by Angie's list and that follows local codes. Andy Corr from Allen Kelly was helpful in reviewing our system needs and then helping me list the out of code issues that I was able to get the former company to comply with. That was extremely helpful. I was especially pleased with the installers from Allen Kelly. They had lots of refitting to do to get the system in; they brought all kinds of drop clothes to protect our carpet and floors; they had to do some rewiring and reconstructing and did so with a minimum of cosmetic problems. When the finished, I tried to come up with words that were adequate to describe the redesign work they had to do. I decided that they should not be called technicians but really "engineering artists". Literally, they treated their work as much like art as engineering and I really appreciated that; the installation is truly beautiful. Thanks. Clearly this was an excellent experience for us and we are grateful for their hard work.

My experience with them was excellent. They were good about answering all of the questions, they went the extra mile in making sure that I had all of my questions answered, and they put in the equipment quickly. They were very nice people. I went out and met the people working there and they were helpful and nice. They were concerned about me getting a system that would work best for me; there was no hard sale and they let me check around and look at other companies. They had a coupon that I used and the price was about what I expected.

Woke up this morning to 57 degrees in the house. Called Allen Kelly and someone was able to show up about mid-morning. Fixed the furnace (Needed ignitor replaced) and installed a Honeywell thermostat to replace the new Hunter thermostat that I had put in last weekend. I called Allen Kelly & Co because I knew that they would do a great job. I was not disappointed. Thank You again Lenny!!

In a word, beautifully. From beginning to end it was handled professionally, and, at the end of the day (literally) I had heat. They were on-time, on-budget and friendly to boot. I couldn't have asked for any more. I will never switch HVAC companies again!

n 2009 the company did a great job of installing a $13,000 heating and air system with ducts. I sent an excellent report for the work they did and their concern to do the right thing. Problem is: There was an error reading on my thermostat on a Thursday in early Nov, 2010 and I called Allen&Kelly and the service Department said they would get back to me. I called on Friday and told service and they never called back and service asked me what do I want to do about it? I said can I speak with the service manager. The service manager was out for the day and I was told that the manager would call me back next week. On Tues. of the following week I called the sales lady who sold me my $13,000 unit and left a message. After not hearing from anyone from Allen&Kelly for a week I sent them an Email. I received a call a few hours later and explained the problem. Also my service contract ran out in May of 2010 and was never called to renew. Operations manager called and we talked. I told him I was done with his company!

**Read This Prior To Attempting The Installation Of A New Thermostat On Your Own** Trying to be energy-concious, I decided to switch out my existing thermostat with a 7 day programmable thermostat that I bought from Lowe's this morning. Against my better judgement, and only because I used to work the plumbing dept. at Lowe's and know how many thermostats are returned to the store due to lack of knowledge of the installation process (yes, I am one of those lacking knowledge), I decided to try this myself. After looking at the directions provided with the new thermostat, the installation looked very simple and straight-forward. I matched up all the wires from the old unit to the new unit and turned the furnace back on...to nothing. Hindsight is great if you actually listen to it before the fact. Anyway, I called Allen Kelly & Co. and they had one of their techs stop by after he finished up with his previous appointment. He called when he was en route, got to the house, diagnosed and fixed the problem (wiring not done correctly and blown fuse) and went on his way. Easy fix on a Saturday, and it didn't break the bank. So that being said, I would have no reservations about using Allen Kelly & Co. again, and actually plan on it in the very near future (for a furnace check-up, not for something that I fouled up, I hope). In ending, if you want to switch out your thermostat, buy one that is very similar in model and manufacturer to the one that you are replacing. Directions supplied can't go into enough detail to cover all of the unknowns. If you want to upgrade to a different (ie: more complex and complicated) thermostat, have Allen Kelly & Co put it in for you.

They showed up at 8:29am for an 8:30am appt!! First impression: A+. Then they spent the better part of a day installing a new propane furnace...I didn't think they could go higher than an A+, but they did. DJ & Omar were very professional and polite. Furnace works beautifully and all paperwork was explained to me, including rebates. I thought their price was fair, although I wish I had seen the coupon on here first!! Even so I would definitely recommend them to anyone! P.S. Bob, who originally came out to give me the estimate seemed very knowledgeable and was willing to listen and answer all of my questions. So A+ for that experience too.

very professional and thorough. Sales person very knowledgeabe about his product and gave good advice based on our needs, no pressure. Was happy to return and rework the estimate when we read about a special promotion through Trane on the financing. Workers arrived on time both days of the installation, were unobtrusive and focused on the task. Cleaned up when finished, made sure that we had all the product print information for the units and thermostats.

The installation went well and we are very happy with the Trane equipment. We were not happy with the rebate they were supposed to honor. We found out that the rebate was to be submitted within 30 days and Allen Kelly did not tell us that. We ended up not getting the $300.00 rebate and just wish they would have told us to get it sent in soon.

We've used them for several years. They were wonderful and did a great job. They were very efficient. The service man came back on a regular basis until the problem was fixed. We did qualify for the energy efficiency rebate from the government.

I cannot rave enough about the service. If you have heating or AC issues-these are the people to call. Marty was great. He stayed here until he figured out what was wrong. It was rainy and nasty and they still showed up. Anyone else would have just charged us for a compressor and not figure out what the problem was. They are honest and have your best interests in mind. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has issues with their central heat and air. Thank you Mary and Allen Kelly for providing such great service we didn't think existed anymore! I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Good. George & Jay were great. They were on time & went above & beyond. They had to come three times to do the new install, then to meet rough in inspection for new addition & finally to seal the ducts.

They called saying they would be a little late arriving (45 mins), I had already built a frame and pad for the unit, they did the rest( installed heat pump, replaced the air exchange hardware (ducts were upgraded from 10" to 14 " and the air exchange box was too small and in bad condition), ran two 14" duct runs and I had them relocate the unit away from my deck/pool area. The only thing I would have changed is mounting the compressor breaker panel on the left side of the unit so it wuld not be visiable from my driveway (a minor issue). Overall .. the install went very well and I am satisfied. Approx install time was 7.5 hours

When the A/C went out in our upstairs we knew it was probaby going to be time to replace our 22 year old heat pump. I had called a company that a friend had recommended and was not satisfied with the answers I got from them. I then called Allen Kelly and Co. It was about 1:00 in the afternoon so I assumed we were going to be looking at the next day. Much to my suprise and delite they sent some one out that evening to look at things. Bob was full of great information and recommendations. Due in no small part Bobs friendly demeanor and can-do attitude we decided to have them do the work. When they came back to install the new system they found that they had the wrong air handler and had to reorder the correct one. To ease the pain, installed loaner window a/c units to help keep it cool during the wait (welcome relief). When they came back with the correct air handler they worked hard and steady until done. They cleaned up after themselves and our house looks like they were never there. No mess lest behind AND the final bill came in LESS then the orginal quote! During this whole process Bob was GREAT and took all the time we needed to make sure we felt comfortable and understood what our hard earned money was going to. I don't know if they are the cheapest in town but I firmly believe they are the best and that we definitely got our money's worth! I would definitely recommend them friends and will use them again.

The crew arrived on time, performed all the work as agreed, and made sure everything was working properly before they left. They also let me know about all the rebates for which I was eligible, and provided the necessary paperwork to submit for each. They removed all traces of the old system--the new system looks great and works great!

I was pleased with the experience from day one when the representative came out to look at my old house and old unit. I explained that the old unit struggled to keep up on hot days and really did a poor job of cooling the second zone which was my finished attic. She was thorough, took notes, recorded the sizes of my ductwork before sitting down and making a recommendation. The installers were excellent. They showed up on time. They put down cloth over any carpet they had to pass over so when they were done, you couldn't tell they had been there. They won a customer for life with my wife over that little detail. They even did some things beyond the original scope of work such as increasing the size of a return duct and relocating my bypass duct so that it worked better than before. We could not he happier with the new system.

Called at 9 am and they arrived at my home at 11am. Very courteous and professional. No problem accepting the coupon as listed on Angies list.

Showed up on time, took exactly how long they estimated, very professional, very courteous and knowledgeable and did extremely good work. Cleaned up after themselves. Will definitely recommend this company to everyone that I can. You will not be disappointed with Allen Kelly Company.

Needed to replace 12 years old heating & ac units.I spoke to & received estimates from 4 companies & by far this was the best experience with all involved.Andy didn't try to sell us more than what we needed & really explained what we were getting,he also mentioned th coupons on Angie's list (which he didn't have to) & saved us $500.I was concerned about my new white carpet & all the installers were very carefull with taking care no to cause any damage

I got quotes from two providers and Alen Kelly was the lowest by about $600. They were on time meeting to provide an estimate and Andy provided good information about 3 options. They were able to schedule the installation within 4 business days. The installation was done on time. Unfortunately, the wrong model number was keyed and the wrong unit install. I was out of town during the installation and saw the unit was wrong when I returned. I let Andy know and they agreed the wrong unit was installed and was replaced on Wednesday, two days after I let them know. Even with this issue, I am still pleased with their service and will use them again.

Another wonderful experience with this company! Bob Breest was our salesman, and was able to get out to our home the same day since we called on day 2 of our AC being out during the 101 heat wave (and we have 2 toddlers we were worried about staying in the home during that kind of heat). We worked up the sale of a new unit, but he came with the intent of bringing us temporary units that night if he was unable to get our 20 yr old unit back up and running temporarily (which he did). Yesterday we had the new Trane system installed, and JD and Omar were our installation guys. We couldn't be happier with the service they provided. It took them a full 9 hours to complete the job (moving gas lines, installing gas slab, disassembling old unit, installing new, putting in new vents/returns/thermostat, checking/repairing duct work.....a big job). They took a very short break for lunch, and then were hard back at work (trying to beat a thunderstorm we thought was coming). They were both very nice, did a great job, left our yard clean/in the same condition as it was when they arrived, and explained everything about the new unit. It's a night and day difference with our old vs new unit. Once they had the unit installed, it took maybe half an hour to fully cool the house.....I wish it's something I would have done years ago! I would definitely recommend this company - we've had 3 interactions with them thus far, and everyone has been outstanding!

Horrible. This company (Andy Corr specifically) waisted my time and my morning. A simple phone call would have saved this job for them, but obviously they never learned how to be considerate of others' time. My warning to you - make sure you have time to waste if you want to work with Allen Kelly & Co Inc.

Our home has two Trane heating and cooling systems. The downstairs unit was not cooling or blowing while the outside temperatures ran in the upper 90's. Called on Saturday and requested a Monday appointment. The person who answered the phone was quite pleasant and was able to accomodate our request for late in the day. When we had not heard from anyone by 6:00 pm we called the office. Again, the person who answered was very pleasant and assured us the techican would come to the house that evening. The techician, Ray, arrived less than an hour later, opened the A/C unit and found it to be frozen. He showed the ice block to my spouse, shut the system down to allow the ice to melt and arranged for an appointment for the next day. There was no charge for his visit. Late the next evening another technician, Ed, arrived. He found the six year old unit was low on freon. He added two pounds of freion and searched to no avail for the leak. The diagnostic fee was $109.00 and the repairs were $241.00, for a total of $350.00. Thanks to their Angie's List coupon, we saved 15% and the final price was $297.50. We found everyone at AllenKelly & Co. to be courteous, reponsive, and friendly. We will call upon them again when needed and highly recommend their services.

I was very pleased. (see above) I called sales office to ask about service energy agreement. Sales person explained how the service agreement worked. Paperwork was sent to me immediately.
