ALLEN'S ROOFING & REPAIR SVC

Allen did not replace all the sub-roofing that he originally told me he would. The workers left a HUGE mess. They did not order enough shingles to do the job, and I had to pay more for them to go buy extra shingles. Then when the job was over, they took whatever shingles were left - about 6 packs. I called them and asked them to bring back the left over shingles, in case I needed them for any repair. They brought half a pack and dropped it off in the middle of the driveway while I was at work. Several months ago I noticed water on my bathroom ceiling. I went to the attic and found a large place where the sub-roofing was wet. I called Allen to ask him to come fix the leak. He told me he would call me in two days to set up a time. He never called. I continued to call, but he would not answer the phone. I asked my fiancee to call him. I guess since it was number he didn't recognize, he answered the phone! He finally called me back and told me someone would come out on the following Thursday. I took half a day off from work to wait for someone who NEVER showed up. Now, Allen will not answer or return any calls. He does not stand behind his work. There is a saying that goes, "A man is only as good as his word." This man's word is no good.

We hired them to replace the roof and everything was fine at first. During the removal of the original roofing, one of the workers fell through the ceiling into the kitchen. This damaged the drywall ceiling and ruined the ceiling fan. They offered to fix the damage and completed most of it, but they still haven't fixed the fan and haven't hung the molding. We noticed the real problem after the first rainstorm. We noticed 5 bad leaks that left spots on the ceiling and walls. I called Allen and he sent a subcontractor out to repair the leaks. I was charged $375 to repair the leaks, because Allen said the subcontractor owed him money from the his last job and that is the only way he would send him out to fix the leaks. Another storm was coming in so I had to get the leaks fixed. Allen was supposed to come back and check the work of the subcontractor, but instead sent another subcontractor to check the work. The new subcontractor checked things out and said things looked good. A couple of days later we got another storm and we had leaks in roughly the same places as before. I called Allen again and it took him a couple of days to get back to me. He had another subcontractor call me and let me know I had to sign a contract and pay to get the repairs done.
