Satisfied with the job but was disappointed in the quality of the interior door installed.

I couldn't be happier with the entire project from start to finish. We ran into one hiccup with the plumbing, due to the age of the house (1968), but Jonathan worked with the plumber and came up with a plan that resolved the issue while keeping the integrity of the design. Jonathan worked within our budget and exceeded our expectations by provided us with a beautiful shower/hall bath. The project wasn't huge (space wise) but covered demolition, electrical, drywall, painting, hvac (shower vent), tiling, plumbing, glass shower install...pretty much everything. I work from home and am on client calls, with 2 dogs, so scheduling and communication was critical. Jonathan and Andrew let me know in advance when they would be here and worked with my schedule when I needed quiet or was out of town. I feel confident recommending him to anyone and if I need anything in the future I will be reaching out to him first.

Excellent result - Jonathan and team executed project from start to finish, including tile, cabinetry, granite vanity top, lighting, plumbing, electric, and tub re-glazing.

We embarked on a master bathroom remodel which involved retiling an existing tub enclosure, shower and toilet room, and replacing an old shower enclosure with a frameless one. We also needed tub and sink faucets replaced to match the new shower enclosure fixtures, as well as a new door to the master bedroom closet. Jonathan came and gave a very accurate estimate. We particularly liked the approach to providing access to the motor and plumbing of the jetted tub while making it very inconspicuous. Jonathan provided good references to tile and plumbing vendors with whom he had contractor discounts. They provided good selections for us at reasonable prices since were remodeling primarily for resale. The project went smoothly with any issues that arose ( which were quite minor) quickly resolved. The sub contractors were polite, professional and did good work. Jonathan and Andrew were very communicative and responsive. We particularly enjoyed working with Andrew. We are very happy with our “new” master bath and highly recommend Affordable Remodeling.

My countertops are amazing!!! The wainscoting is amazing!!!! Johnathan was great to work with. His staff was awesome. It couldn't have went better. They were very clean and very detail oriented. I will use them again for my bathroom remodel.

It did not go anywhere. Called them a week ago for an estimate and never received a call back. Very disappointing.

Went extremely well. I wish it was this easy with everyone I contract with! Jonathan is very professional and friendly. The installer is great - and a nice guy too! The whole job cost about 30% less than Home Depot wanted. I will not hesitate to use Jonathan again.

Excellent. Jonathan, Andy and the team of contractors were top notch professionals. They accommodated our needs, listened to our concerns, and were willing to make adjustment on the fly. The best part was they followed through on a couple minor things after the project was completed - no questions asked.

We are very pleased with the result of the remodel that Affordable Remodeling Solutions did for us. The launch area looks exactly as we specified. Some parts of the hardwood floor had to be replaced due to the remodel and you can't even tell that some of the boards are newer. I can't speak highly enough of the team involved. All were punctual, professional and all around great people to work with. The job was done quicker than we were quoted and that was even after it proved difficult to find the same exact type of hardwood flooring. Total A++++ job. We will definitely be using Affordable Remodeling Solutions for future projects.

We were exceptionally pleased with the process and the work. They helped us figure out what we wanted to do. They provided a detailed estimate of the work so we knew exactly what to expect in terms of the design and schedule. Both the cost estimate and schedule turned out to be accurate. They were very responsive when we asked questions. They installed temporary zippered bathroom doors to keep the mess from getting in our master bedroom and they did a very good job of cleaning up every day so that we could walk through the bathroom to the closet. Everyone who came in our house was professional and personable and communicated a commitment to doing an excellent job for us. When one of the vendors shipped a wrong fixture by mistake, Affordable Remodeling Solutions worked with us to find a suitable replacement fixture and reworked some tile and plumbing to make it work for us. I also requested a change to the plan for the bathroom surround, which they graciously accommodated late in the project. We highly recommend Affordable Remodeling Solutions.

Everything went very smooth, Jonathan was very patient with some of my last minute changes and was very quick to fix/update any minor problems (even ones I didn't notice). Very professional and he communicated with me nearly every day through out the entire process. I would highly recommend Affordable Remodeling Solutions to anyone looking to do a kitchen remodel.

Jonathan contacted me quickly following my request via Angie's List. He came out the next day to observe the situation and provide a quote to replace, but was kind and professional enough to inform me that the surface could actually be refinished for a lot less. He said he did not do that type of work though. He took photos of the situation, texted them to another professional service team (Specialized Refinishing Co., who will be doing the work TODAY!!! One day after Jonathan's visit to our home!) who he highly recommended and spoke to them while he was still at my home. He thanked me for giving him the opportunity to provide a quote, and asked us to keep him in mind if we ever needed our kitchen or bath remodeled. I wish every contractor was this professional and honest. He could have quoted us upwards of $2500 to replace the shower pan and needed tile surrounding it, but instead he recommended a quicker and much less costly approach. Gotta love an honest, ethical man. I would contact him again in a minute if we ever do a remodel.

Both showed up on time and were easy to talk to. I never had to worry about how dirty my house would be when I got home. They went above and beyond to keep the work space clean each day. We're absolutely in love with the tile they installed. I would recommend them to anyone!

Manager / Contractor worked with us and Mosaic Tile to design the remodeling and select compatible tile. Manager facilitated changes to tile selections. Tile installer did diligent and expert work to assure perfect fit (tile to tile) and selection of tiles per our general artistic guidelines. The accent tile work, which required detailed cutting and fitting, turned out perfect as did the sloped shower floor. Special care was taken throughout the job to minimize dust in the rest of the house. The modern glass enclosure was exactly what we wanted. Manager and tile installer were easy to work with and completely trustworthy. There were minimal surcharges for the changes we initiated.

Very well with excellent quality, attention to detail, and clean up.

I had to shop and pick out the tile and buy a vanity and vanity top, mirrors, etc. All the work was done to my satisfaction. The workmanship was excellent and they cleaned up afterwards. The remodel took a little longer than I expected and I had to interrupt work due to a previous planned trip, but work was picked up and completed after I returned. I am completely satisfied with a job well done in the price range I expected. I probably could have had the job done cheaper, but I usually choose between the lower price and the highest price as I believe you usually get what you pay for. Thanks to Jonathan for his professionalism. And thanks to Rick for his superb work.

Our door was made of poor quality material. The seal around door was worn and deteriorating allowing wind, air and light to seep in. Base and sides of door and frame were worn and deteriorating. Peep hole of old door was located far out of visibility my height. Lock and bolt not functioning well after 17 years of age. Andrew replaced the door, encasement frame, knob, locks and peep hole. He did the work with precise, meticulous detail, checking for my approval throughout the installation. He took his time and included expert information in every phase of the demolition and installation, including evaluation of prior termite damage around the frame. We have an beautiful new door that will shield us from the elements and increase the value of our home. I called Affordable Remodeling Solutions for this project because of their superb remodeling of our kitchen last year. I will be calling them for an upgrade of two bathrooms in the near future. This is an excellent company that provides quality work for an affordable price. Jonathan listens to your needs, does not oversell, and provides expert advice only when asked, (or when we need to be saved from bad decisions :-) Thank you, Jonathan.

I left a message with Jonathan to get information about his services and set up a time for an estimate. He called back quickly. He asked what I would like to get done and I explained what we were interested in. He asked what our projected budget would be and I told him what I was thinking. Having said all of that, I'm not an expert, I've never redone a bathroom before, I'm not into the renovation industry and I call a service like this for their expertise. I felt his professionalism was lacking because apparently I was way off from what the remodel would cost. He asked if I watch HGTV a lot. That to me came off extremely condescending. Then threw out some numbers without seeing my master bath and said " I guess we are done talking huh". How wrong he is as I have a open budget but needed guidance. After all of that he then said I lived too far out which should be his first question to a client prior to talking about any of this information. I would not use his service simply for his lack of professionalism on the phone nor will I recommend him to the many people I know.

We absolutely picked the right folks for this job! The project turned out even better that we imagined. Affordable Remodeling Solutions (ARS) made the most of each work day. They installed a new ceramic tile floor in the bathroom and created a beautiful new shower enclosure with ceramic tile and marble trim and a great glass wall. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were exceptional. Demolition of the old bathroom was quick and with minimal dirt/disturbance to the rest of the house. They disposed of all the waste, and cleaned up thoroughly when the job was done. Jonathan's design suggestions kept the project on the right track. He had no problem with us doing the painting and installing the new sink base and sink ourselves to save a buck. The project was completed on time and to our complete satisfaction. Many thanks to Jonathan and his team at ARS for their fine work on our behalf. He proved to us that you can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear! We recommend ARS highly and without reservation. We certainly would put them to work for us again in the future should the opportunity arise.

They promptly called me back to tell it would be weeks before they could get to me, and gave me the name and contact info for the Sheetrock Si contractor they use. That sub was able to do the job without delay and did a great job. I really appreciated the owner going to this trouble and sharing his guy with me.

Jonathan?provided fair and?accurate estimates and time-frames for completing the bathroom remodel and kitchen backsplash in our 30 year old home. The quality of the tile?and grout installation?in both rooms is exceptional, and all work was carried out in a punctual and professional manner. The?painting portion of?the project?also?exceeded our expectations.? There were no unpleasant surprises as Jonathan maintained open communication and onsite monitoring throughout the project.? We are very pleased with the outcome and would definitely use Affordable Remodeling Solutions for future home improvement projects.

Jonathan was polite, professional and thorough when he came out to do an estimate on our master bathroom repair and remodel. Unfortunately, he never provided us with an estimate even after reaching out to him multiple times via phone. I was told it would be sent to me by the weekend, then it was pushed back another week after contacting him and then I never heard anything back even after another call. We obviously went with another contractor, Seab Howard, and have been very pleased with his work so far. We liked Jonathan at the meeting but were very let down after that.

I selected this contractor based on glowing Angie's List reviews & recommendations. John was punctual, very friendly, and had great suggestions and ideas. He told me he had several projects going on, which was fine as I wasn't in a rush to have my project (master bath remodel) finished. He didn't send the proposal by the date he gave me, so I called to inquire. He told me he would have it in a few days, and I've never heard from him again. If he didn't have time or the desire to take on this project, I wish he would have just said so. I have been waiting to hear back, instead of just contacting a different contractor.
