 + -1 moreon.As soon as I walked in found a sales person and gave him the battery number I was looking for he immediately knew the alternate battery number for which I was looking for. Hence the reason I wasn't successful on my own! I will always check my local ACE hardware store off Durant Road from now on.
Description of Work: This ACE Hardware store (like most ACE stores) just provides you with knowledgable sales people who actually know what their talking about. The last time I went in I was looking for a very specific battery for my weight scale. I originally went to a drug store then Wal-Mart thinking this was a simple job.

sharpening
 + -1 moreI dropped blade off at service desk at about 0830. Store clerk said that it would be ready by noon. I returned at 2 PM and the blade had not been sharpened. The clerk then said, "could you come back tomorrow to pick it up" to which I replied "No!". They called someone to do the sharpening. I have to say that this is unusual for this store, and I have sharpened many blades there, but it is a true representation of my most recent experience. Despite this, I plan on giving them another chance, and I like Ace in general as a place to shop (although not as well as Burke Brothers!).
Description of Work: Sharpened blade for Honda mower. Blade is the mulching (twin) blade, so the price was 2X a standard (single) blade sharpening.
