Description of Work: I originally had them come out for a flush of a gas water heater. While there, he found a gas leak which he fixed. He also told me the pressure reducing valve for the house was out of code and the thermal expansion tank for the water heater was saturated. I made an appointment for him to come back to fix those. Did a great job and fixed problems I did not realize were related to the valve (banging in the pipes with toilet flush) and overflows from the water heater that I had to catch with basin and empty every week (expansion tank). Glad I had the work done.

We just purchased an older home and Mike offered a complimentary plumbing inspection which we felt would be wise despite our recent home inspection. Mike thoroughly checked our new home, offered recommendations and found several important preventive repairs/maintenance items not covered in our home inspection. We were very satisfied by the level of service and intend to use A&H for yearly preventive inspection and maintenance along with any needed repairs.

 + 0 moreMichael Price, of A.H. Plumbing, came in and bid EXTREMELY competivly compared to the other plumbers that I spoke to. He gave me an estimated deadline and completed the job on time. He passed inspections with flying colors. Mike was very polite, professional, and personable. This is a hard combo to find in the business world. He did not bang me over the head with change order fees or any other underhanded invoices schemes. I paid the exact ammount of what he bid the job for. I would recommend him to anyone and he is currently working on another plumbing job for me this week.
Description of Work: I took over a commercial space in downtown Raleigh in September of 2011. I performed a very intensive upfit to the space in order to turn it into a upscale bar. The building was originally built in 1922 so the plumbing was a tangled mess in the building. I needed to add new bathrooms, floor drains, ice machine equipment, behind bar sinks, dishwashers and other necessities to the space. This job was extremely tough due to the existing plumbing design and building layout. The landlord refused to help with upfit and the job was being bid at two and three times the price I paid AH Plumbing.
