Very prompt, thorough inspection. Walked through any issue found and recommendations. Felt like this was a bit of a "fishing" expedition for future buiness, but was not "pressured" into additioanl purchases.

Lots of good suggestions and a couple of fixes later and I feel better about the problems getting fixed permanently.

Setting up appointment was easy and he arrived a little early even! Checked out all my toilets for leaks, was able to increase my water pressure for me (it was too low for my tastes) and flushed and cleaned my water heater. He explained all the work he was doing clearly and gave me a written quote for some additional work and got my approval before going ahead. Very happy with the work and the company.

I have not used their service yet.

They are very reliable and give reasonable estimates.

Everything went ok. The guy that showed u to do the job was good and pleasant to work with.

Michael came to the house within a 3 days of signing up for Angies List deal. He completely drained/flushed the water heater. We went around a looked at toilets and sinks. He recommended that I have my whole house water filter inspected as it did not seem to be working as advertised. The water pressure in our house is often low so he went under the house to check; found that we need a larger hold tank and pressure switch. Also reviewed the options for a tankless water heater on outside of house; this would take away concern of my upstairs water heater overflowing and causing damage, reduce energy bill, and qualify for tax credits in 2013. Overall a good plumber that knows his line of work. His prices seem reasonable. Would use him again.

They did succeed in fixing the stuck sink, and it has continued draining just fine. Unfortunately, they also tried to upsell me on services I wasn't interested in - including a hot water heater flush. Additionally, the kool aide test (is kool aide really the state of the art in plumbing technology?) apparently demonstrated a leaking toliet tank. I would have much rather have found out about these optional additional services after they'd completed the work I asked of them. Instead this was done simultaneously. Finally, we have Cartridge based faucets in the master bathroom. These are the type of faucets where the guts are contained inside a replaceable cartridge -- a very simple DIY solution that takes less time to install than the trip to lowes / home depot to get the part. I believe they installed the cartridges into our faucets incorrectly. Instead of dripping, the sinks now turn themselves off. Automatically. If you lift the handle to turn the sink on and let go of the handle -- say to wash your hands-- by the time your hand is under the stream of water, it's already well on the way to shutting down. All in all, I cannot recommend.

Everything went well. Michael arrived on time and completed all three items above for the agreed upon price. On top of that, he was very pleasant as he interacted with me.

All the services were performed as expected. They noted several problems with the hot water heater (which I expected due to its age), and they thoroughly explained the repercussions of keeping this old equipment. They also noted several other small repair jobs with a shower faucet and the washing machine hook up. Having obtained a quote for the small odd jobs, they made these repairs during the same trip which was greatly appreciated. Michael was very professional and took the time to make sure I understood all of the repairs.

A. H. Plumbing did exactly what I wanted and I had asked them to do something beyond what they do. I will have them come again in the future. They are professional and punctual, they know what they are doing, they left information on the water heater about the standards they had found and when they would do the annual. They were fast and they dealt with my big dogs very nicely. They are in a reasonable price range.

When I called, Michael Price answered and listened to the problems I was having (none of mine were emergencies). He made an appointment with me for 2 days later, and gave me a 3-hour time window. He called to let me know when he would arrive, and was on time. Michael was patient as I showed him the various things I needed done. He was generous with his advice. He worked quickly and carefully, and cleaned up when he was done. The thing that took the most time was testing because we had to wait for our washer to go far enough through a cycle to drain. I had the opportunity to talk with him as we waited, and he was very pleasant. As we were going through the invoice, he first made sure that I had checked his work and that I was satisfied. He then asked me if I had any more questions, and took the time to check under the house to determine whether we had a septic tank, walked around outside to look for the cap, and explained what was involved in connecting to city sewer, at no charge. The work came with a 90-day warranty. I am very satisfied and will use AH Plumbing in the future.

We called Mike late in the day as our whole house water shutoff gate valve had failed. Mike said he would be out in 30 to 45 min and was true to his word. In an hour, Mike had replaced the valve and cleaned and vacuumed the space. Outstanding! The price was very competitive and we would highly recommend AH Plumbing.

They were clean, professional, polite, and on-time. The $50 for the deal was a waste as I already knew which of my toilets had a leak (as it refilled itself a few times per hour). Once you add in the price of the deal, $200 isn't a good price for what was done.

I bought a Big Deal from A.H. Plumbing for plumbing inspection and water testing. I had been wanting to have my well water tested as it had not been tested for a few years. I made an appointment with Michael, the owner, and advised him that I had a few other small projects I wanted him to do while he was at my home. The appointment was set and " Mike " was here as scheduled. He was very nice as he completed his work. We talked to him about some other things that we had been thinking of doing. He gave us some ideas and estimates. The next day I scheduled some of the estimated work. All the work that Mike did was good and I look forward to working with him again.

Purchased a "Big Deal" to have our toilets checked. I knew one of our toilets had a leak problem. Michael Price came and checked out both toilets. For the problem toilet, he removed the tank and replaced the flush valve in a fourth of the time it would have taken me. In addition, he made several suggestions for us to consider for the future (e.g., moving the main water shut-off from the crawl space under the house to inside the house) without applying any sales pressure. That was much appreciated. We will definitely call Mr. Price again.

Very pleased with the service overall from A.H. Plumbing. Originally, I bought their $59 water heater flush and whole house plumbing inspection special on Angie's List. Glad I did because after the inspection, found out that one of the wires connected to one of the heating elements melted due to a small fire. We speculated this was caused by overheating due to deposit buildup on the element inside the water heater. Could be the reason why we weren't getting really hot water consistently for a while. So I had to replace the water heater, but fortunately it was still under warranty. Had to pay for labor to install though, so I had A.H. come back and do that as well. The cost was $375 for them to remove the old unit and install the new one. That price also included them installing a shut-off ball valve on the cold water connection to the water heater. An upgrade over the existing faucet-type valve. The guys who performed all the service, Michael (the owner I believe) and Junior, were professional, personable and easy to do business with. Michael also handled calling the water heater company to see if the old unit was still under warranty. He also spoke to them about what documentation I needed to provide to prove when the old water heater was purchased in order to approve getting the replacement unit. This seemed like an extra step he didn't have to take, but was much appreciated. Michael was not pushy when he provided thoughts on other upgrade options, which I declined, during the install as well. They also showed up on time and communication (mostly through email) between Michael and I was very good. I would definitely recommend these guys to others and would call them back out if I have any other plumbing needs.

Went great. Mike is professional and friendly. He was there on time, explained everything as he did the toilet tune ups on three toilets. He looked at my washer/dryer, made some recommendation on the hoses, looked at the water heater and made some recommendations on putting an alarm and automatic shut off valve if there is a leak. I have a two-story townhome and the water heater is in the attic. At no time did I feel any pressure to purchase anything from the recommendations, but I liked the ideas for the water heater and went for it. The work was done quickly and efficiently and neatly and I'm happy with it.

We suspected that there was a leak in our shower and was told to consult a leak detector. When I called AH Plumbing he asked me a few questions and then said that he wanted to think about a few things and call me back in an hour. He did call and then said that he would come out and look at the problem. He came the very next day. He told us that it was not a plumbing leak and gave me the contact info for another company that could fix the problem. The charge came from him fixing something else in my kitchen faucet. What I really liked about this company was that he was professional, honest, on time, and was very knowledgeable. Thie is my new plumbing service!

The whole job went very smoothly. All work was performed very professionally.
