We bought the Water Heater Flush and Plumbing Inspection and learned that our twenty year old water heater was leaking and rusting and needed to be replaced. He also did a whole house inspection of our toilets and that yielded helpful hints as well. Ultimately, we chose a plumber who could replace the water heater for less money and we had to go that direction at this time. I would not hesitate to call A.H. Plumbing in the future, however.

Nice plumber, but didn't like the over sell.

Excellent he came and did a drain and clean up of our water heater, then reviewed all the plumbing in the house. He carefully explained each step he was doing and, where appropriate he made suggestions for improvement. We asked him to replace the anode rod and the drain valve in the water heater (extra cost). We have since, implemented his suggestions.

During the service call they found a few issues and offered me services. The services were a little high on cost. The hot water heater expansion tank for instance that I can get for $40, was $140. Granted that is installed but it is 5 - 10 minutes max to swap out so the labor is a bit high on that. They also wanted to replace the anode rod in the hot water heater, which was borderline as far as needing it but my reason for not doing it was again the cost. $140 for the rod and installation. Well they had the rod out already so labor should not have been an issue and I can get a rod for $20, so where does the other $120 come from? Standard toilet tank coupling kit with is $15, they wanted $89, which is $74 in labor for a 10 - 15 minute job, I guess that is not horrible but still a bit high. $60 or less I would have let them do it. Overall they were very professional and I would like to have them back but I will question the pricing first. The quality of the service was excellent. Mike, I welcome your response on the price but I think you guys do great work so I still gave you a great grade on everything but price. I still gave you a fair grade so that I could get your response on it.

I was very pleased with the A+ service provided by A.H. Plumbing. Michael was prompt and very professional. He took the time to answer my numerous questions and took extra time to explain the varied procedures he was implementing in checking my toilets for leaks, proper water fill and making certain the toilets were flushing properly. He installed a low noise fill valve in one of my toilets as part of the service coupon. He also advised on other plumbing needs for the home. I reqested and received a very reasonalbe quote to repipe plumbing throughout the house as well as helpfult tips on other plumbing aspects of the home such as the washing machine hoses, yearly maintenance on the water heater and whether to repair or replace the bathroom faucets. This company is A+ and was well worth the time and money! I will definitely consider A.H. Plumbing for my future plumbing needs. No complaints! When Mike arrived things went great. Before then, he had to reschedule me twice. Not once did he apologize for the inconvenience. Just plowed on like it was my issue that he could not make it. That was very irritating and if I had not pre-paid for the Angie's deal I would have cancelled the appointment and gone elsewhere. Once on site, he was great. Very nice guy, good advice and offered options on path forward with an aging water heater. At the end of the day, I asked for his card and will use his services again.

He was professional and polite. They overlooked part of my kitchen sink and I had to call him back and he charged me extra.

Prompt reply when I emailed about scheduling. Arrival estimate was between 8am-12pm, arrived at 8:30am. The gentleman performing the water heater flush stated the valve on the water heater was spec'd incorrectly and replaced it for $89.00. He proceeded to inspect our toilets, showers, and tubs and called out a couple of concerns we'll need to get addressed. Prompt, professional, and courteous.

I bought the big deal water heater flush and plumbing inspection for $59. Michael was easy to schedule with over email and came out on a Saturday afternoon. He explained a lot to me about the water heater and plumbing system. Did a water heater flush and inspected the plumbing throughout the house. Overall a good deal and educational too. He did try to sell me some things that I didn't think I needed (metal washing machine hoses, a bigger water heater drain) but I guess that's expected when he's coming out to the house for only 59 bucks.

I think it went well. Michael flushed the hot water tank, which is two years old and did a walk through inside and outside the house to inspect the faucets and appliances that are connected to water. He even tightened two of the exterior faucets when he noticed they had a slight leak. He used dye tablets to test the toilets that helped me see that there might be need for toilet tuneup in the future. He was courteous and helpful.

Servicemen were punctual, professional, and cleaned up the works area well. Great experience!

One their first visit, AH Plumbing checked my water heater and all the plumbing in my house. My water heater was 14 years old, so they recommended that I replace it and updgrade my current water heater system (i.e., install a flood pan and flood alarm). Since my crawlspace was recently "sealed up", I thought these recommendations were excellent. So, on their second visit, AH Plumbing installed a cement slab for my water heater to sit on, replaced my old water heater, and installed a flood pan and flood alarm. I was very happy with the work they performed and how they performed it.

Showed up on time. Gave a fair assessment of what was needed with options of what to do. Performed work in a timely fashion. Left everything in better condition than when they arrived. Thank you.

AH Plumbing was FANTASTIC. Michael Price is the owner and he came out to our house and spend a lot of time diagnosing what our problem was and fixing it. He also explained everything in detail, and even educated us about some federal government rebates that we were entitled to. I would have no reservations about using them again.

We liked everything about them. We think it was a very good deal. They checked all three of our toilets for us and the deal also came with one free replacement pump.

Michael came out and looked at the issue. He explained what he thought was causing the leak and gave us two possible options to fix the leak. The more expensive option would be about $300. The less expensive, about half the cost. He told us that he was certain that the more expensive option would fix the problem. My husband and I decided that sounded like the best plan as well. Michael finished the job very quickly and professionally. He explained everything and answered all of our questions. The next day, we noticed that the water heater was still leaking. So we called Michael back. He came out as soon as he could and performed the less expensive option, and didn't charge us anything - not even for his time! He really went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with the job. I don't know many contractors that would have done the same. We will absolutely call A.H. Plumbing again!

Michael was very professional and competent. He performed the water heater maintenance in parallel with a plumbing system functionality test. He noted the deficiencies with estimated costs to correct them.

Mr Price fixed the toilet and checked it multiple times to make sure it was working right and it still is.

Had scheduled Mike to install water shut off valve and check our old water heater. Unbelievably, the day he was scheduled to come, I realized the hot water heater was leaking! He showed us how to shut off the water to the heater and drain it so we could shower and then shut it off ourselves. Unfortunately, the shut off knob was corroded so it wouldn't turn off. I had to call him to come back out in the evening to install a new shut off knob and drain the tank. He came back the next day with the new hot water heater and installed it and the water shut off valve to the house. That night and the next few days, we noticed a chemical smell coming from the water. Mike came back out and flushed the tank one more time for us. Problem solved (probably was some flux floating on the water from the pipe soldering). He was prompt, professional, and didn't put the charge through until he was sure everything was working to our satisfaction.

They came promptly on time, checked out my faucets, drained my hot water heater (which was a pain because of the way the drain was situated, chlorinated my heater, and changed out the drain so that the process could be repeated much more easily! The owner was the one who did the work -- and after the chlorine smell finally left, my pipes have been clear of both the smelly bacteriaand the chlorine so I'm satisfied!

Mike fixed a leak coming from the hot water line in my upstairs bathroom. I had noticed a leak in the living room ceiling and he diagnosed the problem and fix it much faster than expected. He also recommended an excellent dry wall repair service/painter who made it look as good as new. Would definitely use again. Very professional and affordable.
