Service went very well. Communication via email was smooth and clear, Michael and his team showed up in the time frame agreed upon (that's huge for me!) and checked and flushed the water heater. He pointed out two potential problems, but did not try to "hard sell", which I also appreciate, giving me a time frame of when I should start to think about repairs. He also checked all of the sinks & toilets in the house for leaks and pointed out one two potential problems and offered suggestions as to how/when to repair them. Since I wasn't expecting him to check the interior water sources, this was an added bonus for me. All in all, a pleasant experience and I would definitely use them again in the future.

Michael helped me from finding the perfect tub through the installation. Several plumbers had previously said the job would require an extensive rehab since the manufacturer of the original tub was out of business. It meant ripping out the tile surround the tub was set in, which would then entail all new floor, wall and shower tile. Michael found a tub that was a perfect fit (not as easy at it sounds) and completed the installation in one day, saving me thousand of dollars. He is a professional of the kind that is rare to find these days.

The service provided to me by A.H. Plumbing turned out well. He was very honest. We have a very old water heater and he said it is still functioning and he actually threw in an alarm so that we would know if it started leaking. But he did not pressure us to replace it. I'm sure other companies would have said, "Oh my gosh, if you don't replace this right now, you're going to have problems."

He was responsive, we communicated through email, and he always got right back to me. He wanted my input, and he does good work. I would recommend him.

Michael was courteous, thorough, friendly and reasonable with his prices. Replaced a broken drain in our upstairs shower that another plumber had said wasn't a shower issue, but a roofing issue. Very personable and professional service. Kept my cost very reasonable in my opinion. I will call on him for any future plumbing needs.

The technician was polite and professional. The showed up for the appointment as scheduled, did a great job, and did all of the work as agreed and promised.

We selected A.H. Plumbing based on past reviews and the Angie's List coupon they were offering. We had them flush the hot water heater, an overall check on the various plumbing fixtures and replace the anode in the hot water heater (5 years old). Mike for each visited called 30 min prior to the appointment window to give us a more specific time. He was professional, courteous and was honest / forthcoming on some of the additional cost recommendations. Researching prices on the internet afterwards, the installed service prices was very reasonable (attic hot water tank alarm/shutoff, and braided stainless steel hoses on washing machine). Would definitely recommend them to my neighbors and friends.

He was OK. I have used him for the water heater flush. I ended up buying a new hot water heater, but I did not use him for that, because he gave me a higher price. So I used somebody else to install it. He tried to upsell me into future repairs. It was my first time using them. I bought a new hybrid water heater and when I talked to him about it he was not very knowledgeable about installing it. I ended up talking to multiple plumbers because it is a new kind of water heater that very few people have experience with installing it. I didn't have trust in him to install the new kind of water heater. So I ended up finding somebody else who was more reliable and did the job for a much lesser price.

No problems at all. All toilets were inspected and recommendations on repairs were presented. I will call back in the future to schedule the other non-pressing repairs.

They did a great job, were on time, and were pleasant to deal with.

The hot water heater flush was done as promised and information on the status of its condition was provided when I asked. Neat, workmanlike job, minimum disruption. The sink drain fix was an add-on, and although they didn't have the parts to replace the broken parts, they made an alternate fix which has worked out ok. They found the bathtub valve problem on a little used bathtub when they leak tested all the toilets, and replaced it, so that was appreciated. They also gave me some reasonable estimates on additional plumbing upgrade work I'd like to have done and I've scheduled most of that. Workmen were responsive, courteous, and respectful. I believe they did good quality work and their prices were very reasonable.

Upsell. 1 toilet refurb plus 2 toilet check was advertised. as an Angie's List deal .When 1 toilet needed a new part that was sold as an upsell although not advertised that way. I feel I was taken advantage of because I am not a plumber( that is why I hired one).That said, the toilet works great!

Only fair. The provider spent TOO MUCH TIME trying to upsell us into other services, even before he completed the original deal. His prices, for standing in my house were not even close to being competitive.

His effort identified 2 leaks resulting in a savings of about $150 a month in my water bill!

The tech arrived on time and was very professional. Changed parts that needed changing.

All plumbing was checked and found to be in working order. Condensation was considered normal for the climate and room size.

It did not go well. I received and email from the vendor indicated that he did not service the Hillsborough (Orange County area) NC. Unfortunately, he did not indicate any service area restrictions in his BIG DEAL. Also, he lost out as we had other work for him to perform to make his trip to Hillsborough, NC worth the trip. He advised me to request a refund from Angie's List, which I will do. TIP: If you not willing to travel to an area, say so in you advertisements.

LOVED the repairman! He was punctual, courteous, and explained everything he was doing. He used grape Kool Aid to check for leaks...it smelled like childhood! ;)

Because the price was low we called them, knowing that we were going to get a sales pitch for some other things, and that did, in fact, happen. They came out as promised, they did a very good and thorough job of checking everything out. We also paid them extra to drain our hot-water heater and they showed us some issues with that and recommended other work that needed to be done. And, because we just sold another house, we knew that the recommendations they were making made sense and had good prices on them and we went ahead and had extra work done. I was very pleased with them, with their attitude, with their professionalism and, in spite of the fact that they were recommending lots of other jobs to be done, there was no push. It was not an obnoxious kind of sales push. The things that they told us to do needed to be done, there was no question about it. But they were very careful to let us know that they weren't there to try to up-sell what we asked them to do. They gave us good guarantees on their work, they gave us extra discounts because of our Angie's List membership. I would call them again and I would recommend them very highly. Someone who called just because of the coupon that they offered might find them a little pushy with other things, if they were not really expecting that. I was expecting it, because you don't get plumbers to come out for $49 if they don't intend to do something else. I thought they were absolutely correct, I thought their pricing was good, I think, what they did, they did a good job and I had no complaints with their service. They did it all when they were here. We just told them to go ahead while they were here and do the things that they said they needed to do.

Once A. H. Plumbing got into my house with the Angie's Big Deal, then they get other business. I guess that's what they do. But that's what happened. That proved to me once the approach is. Once you get in the house, they can say you need this and that.

Went fairly well, the 2 gentleman were nice and professional. Accidental spill of dye but they took the effort and time to clean up the mess.

Other than having to reschedule the initial appointment without an explanation, the rescheduled appointment went great. Mike came with his apprentice and performed the procedures I paid for. Also pointed out things that needed to be done in the future. I would definitely use again and I actually have after I had an emergency plumbing issue.

They came on time, were very professional, and did a good job.

We purchased an Angle's list big deal, fix one toilet for $50. I also wanted the plumber to fix three leaking faucets and change the water valves to two of our toilets. We had one replaced a few years ago because it was leaking. I decided to have the other two changed so we should not have a leak for many years. The plumber looked at every thing we talked about. He put red cool aid in the water tanks of all three toilets. He said that would show us if the tank valve was leaking. The plumber told me how much the extra work would be. Then we looked in the bowels of each toilet. One upstairs was leaking. So fixing that was added to the list. There is a five year warranty on the toilet parts, one year on the other parts. The total cost was the $50 Angle's big deal for one toilet and $605 for all the additional work I had done. Total cost $655.
