It was good. He was on time. He came in and performed the service that he was supposed to. He gave further recommendations in what else to be done. There is nothing I could remember that I don't like.

AH did a nice job. The owner used to work for a condo-type complex and did plumbing all the time. He knows his stuff. It was important to inspect at the end however, as he encouraged, because we found that the hot water needed adjustment and the faucet was slightly out of alignment. Overall, a good experience and the best pricing I have found!

Some parts needed replacement. Punctual and very professional.

The technician who assisted us, was promptly there at 7am. and began analyzing the problem immediately. A hose which we had disconnected while making our own small repair could not be reconnected without causing substantial leakage. After trying and failing to connect it himself, the technician properly determined that the o-ring had dried out and required replacement. This solved the problem.

Flush was very thorough and professional, and the technician explained the various steps he was taking. He explained the importance of water heater maintenance, and provided some tips to prolong the life of the unit. He also checked water pressure in the house and asked about any other plumbing issues we would like to have checked out. This was a very worthwhile visit, and it was a real bargain at the Angie's List coupon price.

I had suspected that I possibly might need a new toilet, or perhaps there was a leak under the floor. The plumber found a leak in the trap underneath the floor, but it was just leaking onto the dirt below. I decided to get a newer, more efficient toilet anyway just in case, and they quoted me pricing with them providing the toilet, and for installation if I bought the toilet myself. I ended up having them come back later and install a toilet I had bought from Lowes for $100. They charged me $300 for installation and also replacing the trap underneath the floor. The owner was prompt and courteous, and I never got the feeling that he was pushing anything on me. His assistant who later did the bulk of the work was quick and efficient. He cleaned up the area and left the instruction booklet on top; removed the old toilet and box. I would use this provider again. They seem reliable and fair. I was extremely happy to learn that I didn't have to replace bathroom flooring due to a leak for God Knows how much money. So they gave me peace of mind as well.

Enjoyed working with the plumber who came out and they also promptly came back later that day to replace my water pressure valve. That solved a problem with noise in the water line of the refrigerator. I would use them again.

Mike and his team did an exceptional job. We had water backing into the house around Thanksgiving, and needed to replace the sewer line during December. We got multiple quotes. Mike's was most reasonable, and he was also the most personable. I was very concerned about doing such a major project during the busiest time of the year, with the water being cut on and off, but we ended up going with Mike because I was comfortable the process would run smoothly. I couldn't be more pleased. He did everything he said he would do, when he said he would do it, and for the price he quoted me on. (We added on the new water line at half retail since we were digging up the yard anyway.) Mike and his team couldn't have made the process any easier. Everything was performed at my convenience, and I always knew when they were shutting off the water. He is also extremely good at explaining what he's doing in layman's terms. He also texts back and forth, which was extremely helpful for all the different appointments, inspections for permits, etc. I never write reviews for anyone, but couldn't help but to say what a fantastic job he did. Extremely professional and customer service oriented. Also, I was home alone with the kids during much of this and was very comfortable with him and his team in the house. A++

promptly showed up for the service, obviously expert, evident that they do this with such repetition that they know the steps by heart and anticipate my questions. Cleaned up and disposed of my old tank. Works like a charm as promised.

Great job. Service tech even offered me a way to save by doing work on the old water heater. Given good info and the choice, I decided to get the new water heater anyway since we will be in this house for a long time (I hope!). I rate them perfect all the way around.

Assistant installed it incorrectly and left it mis-aligned. Assistant failed to repair leaking water line to one toilet. Found out before they left and had it corrected.

Work performed for husband so I am doing the review: Old faucet was rusted to the hoses and could not be removed so Mike sawed the faucet to disconnect it from the hoses. He then replaced the faucet and tested it. Also he used drain cleaning machine on bathroom sink and tested the drain rate. Both repairs worked and tested great. It did not take Mike long to perform the work because he had all the tools needed.

A H Plumbing arrived on time and did the job efficiently.

This is a revision of my evaluation of 12/13/2013. Plumber showed me the photographs of the water heater corrosion and advised that flushing the water heater may cause it to develop a leak, therefore the job was not performed. Within the next few days, I called another company for appointment to flush my water heater. They came out inspected the internal tank of the water heater, found no corrosion there, flushed the tank and I have had no problem. Plumber did take time to answer my wife's questions regarding possible water mark on the ceiling, moisture in closet spaces, and check the flush of one of the toilets.

Michael was very professional from the start. He provided us with a reasonable quote, followed that up with a written quote via email and was able to answer all of my questions. He showed up promptly at the time he said he would be there and worked through the rain to get the replacement done. Having a hot water heater go bad two days before Christmas and expecting 50 people for dinner did not help my stress level. He showed up on time and saved the day for us! A H Plumbing has been added to my favorites list and I will definitely recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services. Thank you Michael!

Were charming and funny the whole time they were at the house.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and I thought it went really well. I had a good experience and they were polite and got the work done in a timely manner. I thought they went above and beyond because I had a medical emergency when they were here. They were amazingly polite and even checked in with me to make sure I was okay. I think I was dealing with the owner on that particular day and he was great. They fixed what needed to be fixed and the customer service was outstanding. I had about $300 in additional charges. They have amazing customer service and there were no negatives. I thought the price was fair.
