On April 9th Mr Price called me to reschedule my appoint to morning. I agreed and he showed up 45 minutes later. He did the water heater, as well as some additional repairs I needed and did not know about. Every task he performed he explained it to me in detail. Upon draining the water heater he recommended I set the temperature lower so as not to get scaled; I agreed. That evening while washing the dishes the water never got hot. I called Mr. Price several times the next day and left two messages. I asked him to return and adjust the temperature, which he did. Mr. Price showed nothing but true professionalism that as a consumer we seldom see from some business owners. Loved his attitude toward his clients!

I was pleased with the service and with the work that was done. I would feel comfortable calling them again.

Everything turned out well. They contacted me shortly after I bought the deal, a plumber came out within a few days, and the work was done to my satisfaction. Furthermore, the plumber did a good job of cleaning up after himself, and the prices for the additional work were reasonable.

They arrived on time after we had to reschedule the first appointment due to winter weather. It was an Angie's list Big Deal, so I got my money's worth if for nothing else the checking of the anode rod to see how it was doing. The only downside is that apparently the drain no the hot water heater has a problem as it took them a long time to drain it. I found out more when I decided to drain it again on my own to try and flush more sediment out of the water heater since after they were done we were still getting a lot coming out of the faucets. Looks like the drain has to be held in the right position for proper emptying. I would use them again, I would just let them know about the problem with the drain so it could be done properly, I can't fault them for not realizing there was a problem until the end.

They were extremely nice and helpful, even offered some good advice. Would definitely recommend this company to a friend.

I purchased my deal on April 1st and heard from the company by email to schedule my appointment for April 7th between 5 and 7pm. They emailed me a few days later to let me know that they would not be able to make it on the 7th and asked to reschedule for the 17th at the same time. It is now almost 8pm on the 17th and they have not arrived for the appointment nor have they tried to contact me. I will no longer be needing their services and I should have known that they were working the Big Deals as a side job based upon the hours I was given.

Mike showed up in the promised window and did everything listed in the work order. He also took the time to educate me and gave me recommendations and options for a number of different area's. No hard sell for any services, just useful information, options, and estimated costs for things I asked about. He also gave me information on how to maintain some things myself to avoid issues. Overall, thought he did a great job and would definitely use again and recommend. I am not familiar with plumbing prices in general so I can't say how they compare to others, but I would have no reservations about using Mike for the work. Very satisfied!

Everything went well but they forgot to turn the hot water heater back on after they left. I was able to take care of it so it's wasn't a big deal.

Mike. What an impressive guy. Arrived on time, greeted me as a professional and took off his shoes before coming into the house. This was setup as a $49.00 water heating draining and sediment removal and an inspection of the plumbing for the entire house. Mike didn't miss a beat. He checked the pressure and temp of the water heater located in the attic and as well as checking the temp of the water coming out of the faucets and showers and making sure that the lavatories drained properly. He looked at each toilet, flushed and observed and wrote notes. I had told Mike before the inspection began that we were planning to put our house on the market in a couple of months. We wanted to take care of what we needed to as cheaply as possible. In his written report, he showed what would be noticed and reported by a home inspector (rusty tank bolts.....who knew?) and what would pass. I also told him we were having a problem with the water pressure (especially in the shower) and it would fluctuate. He had noticed and noted that the pressure was running high when he checked it. The problem with that as he explained, with the type of old pipes we have it's like a person with high blood pressure....if the pressure gets too high, something bad is going to happen. He traced it down to a faulty pressure valve underneath the house and for $275 remedied the issue. I considered that reasonable for what he had to do. Mike left me a list of things to be addressed in a prioritized order. There was no 'heavy selling' or a feeling of being taken for a ride. Just a pure honest tradesman who has mastered his skill. I was really impressed. If I have any plumbing needs I'm calling and asking for Mike. Besides knowing what he's doing he's an extremely personable young man.

Mike and Junior from A H Plumbing called 1/2 hour before they arrived and arrived on time. Both men were very professional. I knew we had some issues with our plumbing, but Mike helped me to prioritize the impending jobs and gave me some "ballpark" estimates for each. When we talked about the jobs that I wanted to go forward with, he gave me specific estimates and options for my budget. He was very clear with his explanations and courteous all the way. I have set up a future appointment for A H to replace my 14 year old water heater and perform some other maintenance that we had discussed.

Everything was done as expected. The service offered was basically to test for toilet leaks plus replacing the flush aparatus. I had to pay extra for the water heater service. Any repairs would have also been extra. This was stated in the initial agreement.

He was professional and did a good job.

They are very good. The individual that came was on time, nice and took care of everything. He also gave me a list of things that needed to be done in the future.

This was a great experience and I'd have them over again as well as would recommend. The communication was exceptional and the services were more than I'd anticipated. Michael, who came out, was very professional and patient as I work from home so sometimes was trying to talk to him while on a conference call. I recommend them 100%!!!

Everything turned out well. They were very thorough in their inspection, they worked around my schedule, and they showed up on time for the appointment. Ultimately, it was a great experience, and I would use their services again if necessary.

It was fine. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that he gave me some estimates on other work I needed to have done. He wrote it out, and said he would mail me a receipt and somehow I thought he was going to give me a copy of the estimates, so that I’d have that information. I made an appointment with him to come back and do some work but he never left the estimate with me. They called to verify the appointment and I explained to the receptionist that I never received a copy of the estimate, and I asked her to send me a copy. She said she would do that and get back to me, but I never received it. They should’ve provided a copy of the estimate either through mail, email, or leaving it behind. I’m on a fixed income and it would’ve been nice to have this information to help me budget accordingly.

After I purchased the Big Deal from Angie's List, AH Plumbing contacted us through the messaging system. I responded with some dates that would work for me. I didn't hear back for a while - then they contacted me and said they would be there the next day. I think there was some confusion on our part in the scheduling, but it wasn't a problem for me. The two gentlemen called about a half hour before they arrived. They went to work straight away and were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves. The work was done in about an hour. The gentleman and I sat down at our dining room table while he prepared a receipt. He answered all my questions and offered me some advice about servicing the water heater in the future. Overall, a great experience.

It went okay after all, and they had to cancel the first time due to an emergency. They did do a good job and I was satisfied with it. They showed up a little late the second time. They stuck to their price and they did everything they said they were going to do. They stayed longer to finish the job for me which I thought was good. They sent 2 guys out to do the job. They were very knowledgeable, polite, and well-spoken. They were able to answer all my questions. They were competent and had a nice personality.

I tried to be a bit sneaky on this. My water heater was not putting out any hot water. I called in and scheduled for them to come out and let me know the damage. They came out right on time and looked into my water heater. It needed a couple hundred dollars of repairs but they let me know that this was only what they could see from the outside. Due to the build-up of rust, they believed that it would only be a temporary fix but had everything they needed to fix it on the spot. They also mentioned that they could replace the whole unit but that it would be much more expensive. I never mentioned the fact that I saw the deal posted here for a water heater replacement. When I brought this up, they had absolutely no problem in offering the reduced price and even called around to make sure they had a water heater available to put in (I have a weird shaped space and needed one of those shorter units to replace). Of the two guys who came over, one left to go pick up the replacement while the other guy removed my current broken heater. They successfully replaced my water heater with no problems and even hooked-up my washer and dryer (which were originally in the way). Awesome service. I was expecting to have to pay for the initial service call on top of the deal for the replacement, but apparently they just combined it and I didnt have to pay any more! I hope to never have to use them again, but if I ever have plumbing problems, they will be the first ones I call.

Due to weather, the appointment was moved forward to the next day--reasonable. They arrived and did everything i had contracted for. Nothing special or anything to differentiate them from other groups.
