The techs were professional and seemed qualified. They did what seemed like a thorough job draining the heaters and pointed out several areas where we needed to replace or upgrade equipment. We haven't had a chance to make those repairs yet, but we were happy with the service!

We did not use this provider, HOWEVER, we resolved the plumbing issue ourselves. We kept Michael's contact information for future use as we would call him over anyone else.

The conditions under which they had to work were challenging. The bank where the line is located is on a hill with a steep grade. I had been told by Roto Rooter that it was too steep to get any digging equipment to it and because the line ran under switchback steps going down the hill it was too deep to hand dig. Michael had his crew use a mini excavator and were able to get close enough to dig down to the top break. When there was a problem with the flow after the installation of the top line and runoff, they stayed until the wee hours of the morning re-digging and fixing the problem. They then hand dug the line at the bottom and fixed it which proved to involve more than originally thought. Even with all the extra work, Michael stuck to the original estimate. He also contacted me later to be sure all was well and I was pleased with the work. Great knowledge, guidance and crew.

Signed up for the Big Deal. Paid $150 more for replacement anode bar. Maybe it was needed, maybe not. When I scheduled the appointment I asked them to please plan to also repair an outside water faucet that was dripping (and said I would expect to pay an additional charge for this work). When they arrived, they said they didn't have any washers on the truck. It really seemed more that they just weren't interested in doing it.

We got off to a later than expected start because of delays that Michael encountered. Although his office assistant was supposed to calll me about the delay, she had a sick child and forgot to do that; I can certainly understand that. I had taken the whole day off of work, so the delay really wasn't a problem. Once Michael and the others arrived, he and his crew removed my 14 yr. old water heater from my inside laundry closet and installed a new one in my crawl space. This required a significant amount of work, including putting in new lines outside and inside; e.g. drilling a hole in the closet to send a line down to the crawl space. They also reduced my water pressure which was too high, fixed a leak in my guest bathroom sink, and put a new flapper in my master bath toilet. Michael and his crew were very congenial and respectful of my needs.When they had to drain my old water heater, Michael rolled out a lot of plastic from my front door to my dining room so that leaks would not get onto my carpet. They were also good about taking off their shoes when inside the house. My older anxious cat had to be shuttled from one room to another behind closed doors (which he doesn't like at all) but he seemed to survive the ruckus; the drilling inside and outside the crawl space was a bit of a challenge for both of us. Once they had all gone and I made myself dinner and the afterwards started to wash dishes, I discovered that the water in the kitchen sink had stopped but not in the two bathrooms. I called Michael and he immediately sent Junior, one of his assistants, to come back and look into this. They both knew that it was a back up of gunk in my kitchen faucet and it was soon cleared out and working again. I felt bad for Junior, because after a long hard day at my place, he was at the pool with his children when Michael called him. He came within a half hour. Now that's what I call really good service! I would definitely use Michael again for plumbing work.

Mike was fantastic, he was very professional and always on time and prompt. He made my experience easier for me by communicating thru email which worked best for my busy schedule. He always showed up on time, was very courteous and his work was great. His prices were great and he always provided a good written estimate. I have used him since for other plumbing projects and will in the future/

The guys were very professional and knowledgeable. They explained what they were doing and made suggestions for future service.

The young man was polite and professional and an expert in his trade. He had to go to go find the same faucet for the shower and that took some time as it was getting to be lunch hour. He arrived promptly around 9:15am and completed all work by a little after 1pm. I was concerned about the cost but he surprised me and gave a discount because I was a senior. I will most definitely use this company again. Very satisfied.

the replacement of the mechanical elements of the toilet was fine. How ever, when they removed the back of the toilet, they placed them on top of the toilet seat which left scratches on 2 of the 3 toilets.... also shortly after they left, we discovered water leaking from one of the toilets that they worked on...and the bathroom floor had about 1/2 inch of water. We turned off the water and call them to let them know. They returned and fixed the lead and mopped up the water. They also agreed to replace the 2 scratched toilet seats.

Elite Home Preservation and John Forrest did not deliver what I had paid which was an Angie's list promotion for kitchen design consultation with rendering. Over a 6 month period, I patiently requested numerous times the quote and rendering that I had purchased. What I find totally unprofessional is that none of my messages were returned. In the end, I just asked for an explanation of the delay and a return of my money. I would strongly advise against working with a company who can disappear when a customer has a complaint.

Mike Price and Junior were very professional and provided us with the necessary information that we needed in order for us to make an informed decision on our home's plumbing needs. Initially we had scheduled a water heater flushing service, but later found out that we were in need of a new water heater. Mike and Junior completed both services and we were very pleased with the results. Miraculously, they were even able to install our new heater without power. Our power went out in our neighborhood 15 minutes before they arrived. Their truck was well equipped with necessary equipment to handle this situation. The only reason I gave them a "B" in punctuality was because they ran late for both appointments. I guess that is the nature of the business, but I will say that someone from the company did call me frequently to notify me of the schedule changes. Overall, I would definitely recommend this company for your plumbing needs!

They did a great job, very personable and in fact, they will do some additional work; they will going to put a new hot water tank for me. I was very pleased with them. I had requested them to do my garbage disposal in water heater and an additional cost of $275.00 on top of $49.00. They were on time, efficient, they explained issues and they told me what other problems that I might need to take care such as putting a new water tank. I will probably continue to use them for other problems.

Two technicians showed up promptly, after giving me a heads up reminder call (always appreciate that!). They were friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. They performed a water heater flush under the coupon rate of $49. Upon their recommendation, I had the two heating elements replaced, which were visibly corroded. The water heater had been acting up prior to the visit - internal breaker tripping and overheating - so, I already knew there was a problem. The cost for those replacements was $120. They also recommended a larger drain valve, which probably was not critical, but I went ahead with it at a cost of $89. There was also a problem with the pressure in the thermal expansion tank, which they corrected without extra cost. All in all, for $258 and having two technicians for a couple of hours doing the work that was done, I would say was a great deal.

I purchased a deal from this company for a toilet tune up. The owner was very personable and knowledgeable. He did a full plumbing inspection and found some additional plumbing work that needed to be done, including another toilet valve replacement, water heater flush, and a part for the water heater. The company advertises budget pricing, but he used flat rate pricing that was not very economical at all considering the short amount of time that it took to make repairs. I have not had any further problems with the work that was performed, so that is a good thing. I will however shop around for pricing on future plumbing work.300

They did OK. He had to come back several times to finish it, so it took him three individual visits to finish. This was for a rental property, so I actually didn't meet with the individual. I had them do the work and then we just corresponded through e-mail.

Service provider arrived late but within an hour of appointment. The work was done expeditiously and professionally. He was very helpful in recommending what else needed to be done.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were fine. It was a little different service than what I had anticipated; it wasn't probably more on me than them. I thought I was going to get a service rather than an evaluation. I hadn't had any leakage. They did a fine job and it didn't cost too much. There were no additional charges. He was in and out. I did have some issues with the toilets afterwards but I fixed it myself. I probably wouldn't use them again.

We purchased an angie's deal knowing that we would have extra costs, as our toilets have been pretty unreliable. The plumber came out right on time and went to work testing water pressure, testing all of the toilets and performing the water heater flush. He recommended that we replace our toilets, as they are original to the house and not the best quality. The house is about 20 years old. He also rebuilt the insides of our master bath toilet for us, fixing our clogging problem. We asked him to turn up the water pressure but he was unable to, according to what he told my mom (who was the one home at the time.) He told her he would email my husband with the details about why he couldn't, and then followed up with the information he promised.

We set an appointment for between 8-11. They called and said they would be there in a half hour, when they never showed up I called and they said they had the wrong address. What irritated me the most was that they could call and say they were coming, but they couldn't call to say they couldn't find the home. So I ended up wasting an entire day and decided to cancel my deal.

I would not recommend them. I have had nothing but problems since they flushed the water tank.

Mike from A. H. Plumbing arrived within the scheduled time frame. He was knowledgeable and a very personable technician. In addition to the water heater flush, he questioned me to become familiar with my situation (I obtain water from a private well) and regarding any other concerns that I had. He looked underneath the house and identified some rusting parts that will ultimately need to be replaced. We also discussed the lack of a sediment filter on my water storage tank. He invited me to accompany him underneath the house so he could show me first hand the items that may need attention in the future. Due to the concealed location of my water heater, he recommended that I purchase a water detection alarm (which I have done) to alert me of any leaks that might occur in my 17-year old water heater. We discussed the polybutalene piping installed in my home (QUEST piping) which has been problematic in many installations and we discussed what to look for should the piping begin to fail. Mike spent approximately 90 minutes on this service call. I will definitely use A. H. Plumbing again when the time comes to replace rusted parts in my water system or to perform other service such as replacing my aging water heater.

The service tech was very professional in performing the services. He was also very responsive to all my questions and concerns. I would use I would use AH Plumbing in the future.

no problems; gave quotes for other items. One of other items could have been completed in the same time it took him to look at it. Gave a price to come back and do...which seemed high for what he was going to do. also wanted a service charge on top of it.

A.H Plumbing were very helpful, efficient and professional. They came when they said they would and completed the work as quoted.

First of all, I took advantage of the Hot Water Heater Flush which I really needed. In addition, prior to the planned appointment I had listed all the plumbing problems I was having, they gave me an estimate and performed them that day as well as the flush. Can't remember ALL the problems but some of them were: Replacement of flush valve, tank gasket and fill valve in master bath; Replaced 3/4 gate valve with 3/4 ball on Main Shut Off; Adjusted the water pressure; repaired Thermal Expansion tank at water heater. I am very pleased with Mr. Mike Price who was professional, considerate, very willing to explain everything he was doing. I'm a "watcher" and he was very patient with me and explained everything he did. I would definitely use him and A.H. Plumbing again.
