They were fine, and very professional. I liked them and they were a good service. It was a challenging project and they were able to get it done for cheaper than other services.

I think they are really good and have referred them to a couple of my friends! They come by and give you an estimate, they try and give you the best price, and they do clean up afterwards.

They had no problem clearing them and they are very safe. The reason I called them was because they were all over the area doing work and clearing trees for other people in older neighborhoods that have really tall pines.

The prices were excellent and they come quickly, and never have any problems taking care of everything!

I hired A+ Tree and Crane to trim branches from an Oak Tree in my front yard. The company sent an overly optimistic estimator to survey and quote a price for the job. After waiting six weeks for my turn to occur on their work schedule, the trimmers arrive at my home and tell me that they could not do the job because the tree branches were too close to power lines. I can appreciate the difficulty of the job, but I was most angry about the time I lost waiting for them to perform a job that was beyond the scope of this company's capabilities. No compensation was given to me for my time lost, only a chorus of apologies.

They arrived when they said they would and were very quick, efficient, and thorough in doing the job. Their estimate for doing the job was very fair and honest.

Called for estimate, told them my schedule but came out at their convenience. Had just come home from grocery store after busy morning with young child who needed lunch and a nap right away. Took a few mins to talk to the guy who came out. Got price on 5 trees plus the dead pine. Chose not to do the rest because of price, just don't have the extra $$ to take down those annoying sweetgum trees. Good price, just don't have over a grand right now to do it. He sent an estimate through email a week or so later, and emailed back to be scheduled whenever they were in the area. They emailed the next day to schedule for the following day. I didn't check email until late that night and they were coming the next day, so I emailed about timing of when we would be home, etc. as I wanted to be there. Plus wanted to avoid the kiddos nap time and be able to keep dogs calm and make sure cats were inside. They got my email and came at a convenient time and took care of the tree quickly. They left us the chipped tree which we used as mulch. It seemed to be mixed with other tree stuff, and much more than I would have thought one tree would be, around 10 cubic yards or so. We will know in the spring (if weeds grow) whether it was mixed with other stuff. They offered to bring more chipped tree stuff by anytime, just call them. Good experience overall. Will call them again if have more dead trees.

Kenneth and Angel were super responsive. I called on a Saturday afternoon expecting to leave a messge but Angel answered and said she would try to get someone out that day if possible. She called back shortly and said they could come out that evening. They arrived together around 6:30 p.m. and did the estimate in the rain, and were finished and gone before 7:00. Angel had a quote to me by email Monday morning, including their coupon discount reflected on Angie's List. I requested proof of insurance which was sent to me the same day by the insurance company, and a slightly revised estimate from Angel which was also completed the same day. We agreed to the contract (signed and faxed) and scheduled the service for later the same week. Angel arranged everything, including the services to unhook our electricity and cable (since the trees were right next to the powerline) and resuming service upon completion of the tree work. They did the service in half a day as planned (from 2 p.m. to 7), with everything working smoothly. The tree's came down quickly with no damage to other trees or property. The logs were cut and placed on a flatbed, the branches were ground on site. The grounds were raked and left in fairly good shape considering the number of large vehicles used. The stumps were ground and the mulch left, which we used to mulch other parts of our property. Angel and Kenneth were onsite most of the time and it was clear that they and the crew all worked well together. We were very pleased with their total service.

Everything went smooth. Very good and reliable company.

Angel worked with me on scheduling to get a guy out to me as soon as possible. Wes stopped by as promised first thing (as scheduled) in the morning. He and I walked the property around my house and I was able to talk with him and show him concerns that I had with a few trees in need of some well deserved TLC to save tree, home and property. He gave me 2 quotes as requested for two trees around my house and additional over grown tree shrubbery that has grown well past a weekend gardening project. I chose the first option (for now) and within 2 hours a crew of three men arrived and immediately went to work. One word...AMAZING! My trees look as if they were grewn out of a bonsai garden bringing long over due curb appeal back to my 30 year old home. Thanks again guys. I will definitely call them again and will gladly let anyone know if they are in need of the same to call these guys first. It'll be the last ONLY call you need to make!

Ken from A+ Tree and Crane called before stopping by to see exactly what work they would be doing. He quoted us $650 to take down a very large dead tree in our back yard and to remove a large tree stump in our front yard. The work was done in two days, one day to take down the tree and another day to remove the stump. The work was done quickly, efficiently and, most of all, cleanly. After taking down the tree, the crew removed all parts of the trunk and all branches of the tree even some that were already on the ground when they got there. Stump removal was handled the same way although I did not see it being done as it was done when we were out. I would definitely use Ken and crew again and highly recommend A+ Tree and Crane.

We required trees (9) removed, stumps ground approx. 8 inches below the ground to allow future planting. We also had bushes trimmed. A+ was methodical in the work, start to finish and accomplished exactly what was on their estimate. They carted away all the remains. They offered the shredded remains but we declined. All the work was completed in two half days. All positives and no negatives.

The large tree in the back yard was difficult to get to and A+ had to remove it with a large crane. Kenneth showed up with a flat bed tractor trailer, 2 other large trucks for chipping and the crew to cut the tree down. They hooked the top part of the tree with the crane, cut it in half, and swung it over the house. They then did the same to the lower half, and cut them up in the street. Then they ground the stump down. Took less than 3 hours. While he was there, he also took out 2 or 3 trees from my neighbors back yard that she had wanted cut down. Did an excellent job and their estimate was the lowest also. I would use them again.

The pricing was competitive when compared to 2 other estimates from Angie's List providers. We likely would have been satisfied with any of the 3, so it came down to determining the best value for the price. As apparently business was slow, a 5-man crew with abundant equipment showed up on the same day the estimate was accepted. The work was done efficiently and well. However, there was some collateral damage. We lost a mature azelea bush in our front yard, along with several plants in our natural area. There was also minor damage to parts of our concrete driveway and some areas of our yard. Cleanup was acceptable, but not excellent. The crew was courteous, obviiously hard and efficient workers.Overall, we got good value for the price and would use this compay again for tree removal if the price point is as good. If I were looking for greater attention to detail, I would perhaps consider another service, but this provider was overall a good value for us.

They are excellent. They were prompt. The price was really good. They were very professional and very nice people. We fell in love with them and I wish I had more trees for them to cut down! If I do, we will definitely use them.

It took a bit longer for the crew to start than originally estimated but that was mainly due to a couple of weather delays. The crew was fast! I got the call while I was at work that the crew was headed to my house and by the time I got home several hours later, they were almost done! With all that I was having done, I had assumed it would take them at least a whole day - but that was obviously not the case. If I have any complaints (reminding you that I would still use them again), it was that the crew didn't spend very long cleaning up afterwards. I think they were in a hurry to get to another house just down the street before the end of the day. I had to spend a couple of hours that weekend raking the chips from the stump grinding, picking up remnants of smallish branches, etc. But by no means is this complaint a deal breaker - the company still did a great job and I would use them again... Oh and the estimator and his assistant were very nice people to work with.

They were here quickly to give us an estimate and did the job quickly. We will use them again in the future.

Overall the work was completed efficiently and professionally. I especially appreciated the fact that the crew did not hesitate when I asked that they also grind a partially decomposed stump without stopping to ask for more money. My only complaint/observation has to do with how payment for the services was handled. When I originally accepted the proposal for the work I was told that the earliest they could start was Friday. Thursday noon I got a call asking if they could start later that afternoon. As it happened, the earlier than expected start time was not a problem for me and so they started about 2 o'clock, finishing in the twilight about 6 pm. As it was my birthday my wife I went out to dinner and on our way home after 8, I got a call from Angel. I had my wife answer my cell phone because I was driving and rather than waiting to speak with me, Angel started asking my wife if we could drive to North Raleigh to deliver a check to them. Now I realize that receiving payment on Thursday helps cash flow for a Friday pay day, but I find it a little presumptuous of Angel to request that I drive to North Raleigh from Southern Wake county to make payment. It seems to me that Angel and Kenny could have better handled this by addressing how/when they would receive payment for services when they asked if the work could be performed earlier than they had initially scheduled.

About an hour ater about 5 men arrived and began working. They worked quickly, efficiently and I was impressed with how well they worked together to get the job done. They were very careful not to do any damage to my house while they were maneuvering the limbs from above my roof to the ground. When they finished cutting the trunks and limbs up, they loaded them on a truck to haul them away. Then they took a Bobcat and smoothed out the ground where they had been working. They finished after dark but they did not hurry and did a really nice job. I looked outside they next morning and I was very happy with the job they had done. They work a polite group of men who appeared to enjoy what they were doing and I would definiately have them work for me again in the future.

Quoted, followed up, did exactly what they said they would do. Would definitely hire them again!

Went great from start to finish. The company was very professional, prompt, arrived on time. Trimmed some trees and removed two. Cleaned everything up. Would highly recommend.

I contacted Ken Ellis on 8/30/11 via phone asking him to stop by, provide an estimate and if acceptable, schedule the work. During the phone call there was quite a bit of background noise, so when Mr. Ellis said that he will call me back, I thought that it was due to the noise. He never returned the call, so we contacted other providers. On 8/31/11 Mr.Ellis rang our bell, but by then we have scheduled the service with another company. On 9/13/11 we were supposed to have the trees removed but another contractor showed up and stated that he has to put the 120 feet crane on our driveway in order to safely reach the trees. This was against what we have agreed upon, as the result, he left.My husband called few other contractors and tried again A+ Tree Service.Mr. Ellis told my husband that since they are in the area, he can take care of our trees in the afternoon.The price was much higher than we were given by the previous contractors, but we agreed.As agreed the trees were removed, the debris removed and the place left as clean as possible.

It didn't go, overall. The contractor came by, made an estimate, and then kept putting us off. I think he bid too low on the job and subsequently realized it. He wasted our time. Luckily, I got up with a tree service that took care of our business in expert fashion.

I was very impressed with their efficiency. Kenneth came by to give me an estimate about an hour after I called him. The team came by about an hour after that to cut up and remove a limb that had fallen in a storm. They were very efficient and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.

The agreement was that they would remove a couple of trees on my property. Two of the rental properties went fine. It took them 10 days to get the stumps out after doing the tree service,. I told them they were not getting paid until they removed the stumps.
