We had a very large tulip poplar next to the rear corner of our house that had been hit by lightning and had dropped a branch onto our neighbor's garage. We had been told by a highly rated tree company that the tree was not an immediate threat but that if we wanted it removed it would require a large crane and that two other trees would also have to be removed to get at it and that the cost (including a fourth, unrelated, tree that we wanted removed), would be about $7500. Because of the high price we decided to get another bid and we called A+ Tree and Crane, which is also highly rated on Angie's List. We called on a Thursday afternoon. Kenneth came out later that day and estimated the price for removing the four trees, plus another smaller tree, at $5200. A+ sent the estimate by email on Saturday. We mailed a deposit check on Tuesday, they called on Wednesday, and came on Thursday to do the work. They were efficient, conscientious about our property, and got everything cleaned up at the end of the day. We had them grind four stumps which added $200 to the total. The crane had to be placed in our driveway and the big tree lifted over our house and placed in the street, where it was cut up and loaded onto trucks. This is very entertaining and our neighbors on both sides were so impressed that they each had Kenneth use the crane to remove two large trees on their property. A+ had the equipment and professionalism to do our job and got it done quickly at a good price. We would be happy to use them again.

We were very pleased with the service and estimate provided. They arrived within 1 day after calling them and promptly gave us and estimate. They automatically added in the Angies list discount without me having to ask! We had a slight problem after signing the contract in getting them to give us a date when they could come, but found out their phone servers had been down. The guys on the job were very nice, professional and they cleaned up all the debris. The tree was huge, and they did very well moving it out to the street with little damage to the yard. Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely use them again.

The team came out and cut down a dying tree in my back yard and trimmed the bush against the house. They did an excellent job removing the tree without damaging the yard, and cleaned up before leaving. The job was complete within 4 hours. I would definitely hire them again!!!

They received payment and left my house.

Angel and Kenneth arrived promptly to provide an estimate. I did get a second estimate from another tree company and found the estimate from A+ Tree Service to be competitive. Their professionalism gave me the confidence I needed that they would do the job in a quality fashion. The crew arrived on time. The larger pine trees were in tight spots that made taking them down a bit challenging. They had to maneuver several other trees while ensuring not to damage the neighbor's yard which backed up to a couple of the trees being removed. These folks were amazing! They did an excellent job in removing the trees and stumps. They cleaned everything up nicely and did little to no damage to my yard during the removal. I was extremely pleased.

They were very responsive on first contact and came out for an estimate within a reasonable amount of time. The person doing the estimate was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. We didn't receive the estimate quote for over a week -- a phone call to her revealed that she needed her supervisor to come out to take a quick look before finalizing the estimate, which they did within another day or two. After signing the estimate, we didn't hear out of them for another 4 days or so. After I contacted them asking if we were on their schedule yet, they actually said the were going to come out for the job a few days prior to that, but couldn't due to the rain. I wish they had let me know all that. But, they indicated they would try again on a particular date, and they did! She called that morning and they came and did the work. The job was mostly thorough and was what we agreed to on the estimate quote. The only slight displeasure I had was that the clean-up wasn't as thorough as it could have been. There were still a couple branches and tree matter in various places in the yard, and their wood chipper left some branches and sawdust in the driveway and they didn't sweep that up. The trees and bushes look great. The guy running the show spoke with me several times during the job, so we had good interactions. They were all polite and professional.

Crew showed up and started taking down tree. The cut limbs were immediately ground into mulch. Crew chief asked if I wanted the mulch but I declined. Last thing was taking down the 7-foot trunk. The trunk was about 18 inches in diameter. They picked up the trunk with a front loader and dumped it into a large truck. They cleaned up the area and left. The next day, the stump grinder came and took care of the stump and some surrounding roots. He cleaned up and left.

Very pleased with the services provided. Kenny and Angel came to the house. After I showed them which trees to remove and stumps to grind they provided me with the price. Kenny marked the trees and they left. The next day the trees were gone. One week later the stumps were ground down (waited for the utilties to be marked). With the exception of the first visit all the details were taken care of over the phone.

Kenny and Angel provided estimate on Friday and work was completed on Monday. Large crew came at 8am and were finished by 9am. Complete clean up of work and even cleaned street. Very professional crew. Very pleased with company.

It went very well. They were very fairly priced considering the other estimate I received. They were professional, courteous and worked very diligently.

A+ Crane did a phenomenal job. The estimators came out and gave us a price in 20 mins. The price was spot on, especially when they had a coupon for $200 off!! After we signed the contract, they called us within a few days and said they would be out the next day around lunch time. We marked the trees with a ribbon and the rest is history. They showed up, assessed the area and began cutting down the trees. They worked like a well greased machine and were finished and cleaned up in about 2 1/2 hours. We were very pleased with the work and professionalism of the tree crew. The bob cat driver was zipping around throwing large branches into the shredder like a ballerina. We videoed the work and I had to watch it twice since I could not believe how they respected our property and surrounding area. Very pleased and highly recommend this business for all your tree removal needs. Worth every penny and now we have a cleared yard!! Thank you A+!!

Very well. They came out when they said they would for estimate. He walked around my yard asking questions. Spent 10 minutes and then provided an estimate. I had received 2 other estimates that were a little higher, but was told that work could not be done within 2 - 3 weeks. They committed to 1 week. He told me exactly what he'd do, and they did exactly that.

Awesome job at our townhome community. Our natural areas and trees had 30+ years of untamed growth. Kenneth?s team cut down unwanted trees and branches, lifted canopies, trimmed branches that were brushing against the buildings, and cleaned out the natural areas. They also solved a drainage problem we had for years in the parking area. Fast response. Professional. Our association president said, ?Fantastic!? No doubt it improved our property value and curb appeal.

A+ Tree & Crane gave me an estimate on Tuesday, 4/2, on Wednesday, 4/3 I told them to do the work and they showed up on Thursday, 4/4 in the morning to take the trees down. Very fast turnaround! It is disconcerting to find out the price to remove trees, but when you see the work involved and the risk these people have to assume, then it's understandable. The guys showed up ready to go and wasted no time getting equipment in place. They brought in a big crane to get the tree in the back of the house since there was no other way to get to it. They were very careful with everything on my property and made sure that I had moved my vehicles up the street to be out of the way. They were friendly and answered any questions I had. They had the trees down, removed, and had cleaned up in about 3.5 hours. It was amazing to see them lift large sections of the tree over my house (scary for me!) and then set them down where the other guys cut them up. They did not so much as disturb the grass. It was a great job. They were confident and made me feel that they knew what they were doing. They cleaned up everything, ground 1 stump (I didn't want the other one ground) and then they left. The neighbors were having trees removed at the same time by another company and they managed to drop a tree limb on my fence, causing damage. Their guys did a half-a** job fixing the fence and then left. Now I have fencing to repair by my neighbor's tree cutters! A+ did bigger trees in shorter time without any damage. I think my neighbor should have used my guys!

We wanted to remove 3 trees from our backyard, two of which were taller than 2 stories, and grind the stumps. In addition, we needed to remove two trees which were growing under my porch and whose branches were coming through the lattice around the base of the porch. A+ Tree and Crane came out within a day of us contacting them to give us a free estimate. They provided an estimate verbally to my husband. They also sent a copy of the estimate by email within a couple of hours, which was important, since I didn't believe when my husband told me how low the price was. After we decided on A+, they came out within 2 days. I wasn't there when they removed the trees, but I didn't notice much of a trace of them when I returned home. I only saw a pile of mulch where the stumps were ground, and there was no visible trace of the trees which were growing through the lattice under my porch. I was very impressed with the price and quality of the work as well as their prompt response to my calls. I would recommend them to a friend, and would hire them again.

After overcoming some mutual email difficulties in contacting the office, the office administrator went out of her way to apologize for the confusion and made an extra effort to get an estimator to my property ASAP. An estimator was on-site promptly within 24 hours. The estimator was very neat, organized, punctual and professional, courteous, and knowledgable. He spent almost an hour-and-a-half walking the property with us, took the time to answer our questions, explain our options and what they would cost. All aspects of the job and the associated costs were clearly spelled out. He was more than willing to work around my schedule preferences. Bottom Line: This provider made an excellent first impression, and is definately worthy of their "A" status.
