Description of Work: Check up on both my upstairs and downstairs unit. Found out why my power bills have been so high and it was fixed on the spot. What a relief!!! Oh and my power bill reflected the update and was considerably lower! Thank you!

+ -1 moreWell that's exactly what the $49 got me... "Yep, it's not working." This was after waiting for over a week after booking the tuneup through Angie's list. They estimated $2000 for repairs, including the cost of FINDING WHAT IS WRONG. then they said for about the same $$$ they could sell me a new unit. I went an extra week without heat because they wouldn't tell me how much a new u it costs until a salesperson could come out and measure the house to make sure I'd get the right size unit. FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. For the smallest unit they sell. Apparently that's close enough to 2000 that this company doesn't mind making people suffer through snowmaggedon with a bum heater for an extra week without bothering to at least give a minimum price. It was the smallest/cheapest unit for gods sake! Anyway, I called them back to request they just do the repair, and didn't hear back for several days. Furious, I called a different company (Total Systems) and my Heater was repaired a couple days later for $1200.
Description of Work: The $49 special only covers 1 unit. So if you have an upstairs and downstairs unit, pick one. I wanted the HVAC tuneup because my downstairs unit didn't seem to be working right.

+ -1 moreOverall we are very pleased with the work. Manuel and Ricky were very professional and worked very long, hard hours to complete the job quickly and efficiently. Scheduled times did not always work out. Sometimes, when we expected them in the am, it would turn out being pm, without any calls from office. We did feel even with the 10% Senior discount, which was very nice, and offer to finance at 0%, which we did not need, it was more than we expected. Things always are! We would highly recommend COMFORT FIRST HEATING AND AIR.
