CAROLINA CUSTOM CABINETS

We would not recommend working with Carolina Custom Cabinets. Our experience with this company was negative based the owners extremely difficult personality that we felt was not customer focused, especially at the end of the job. At the end of the day, due to problems with our OBX Contractor, who was building our home in 2012- 2013 and removed from our property (and had been paid for the cabinets with our deposit ) decided not to pay Carolina Custom Cabinets when he was suppose to, we were forced to make double payment to Carolina Cabinets who should have work through this issue with the OBX Contractor. Carolina Custom Cabinets ran up our legal bills by contacting our lawyers directly for money owed to him by the culpable contractor and placed a lien on our property, preventing our home closing rather than proceeding solely against the contractor who was responsible for the defalcation. From our experience and in our opinion, we feel this is a business that will stop at nothing and something we have never experienced with any other business. In our opinion, we believe there are much better vendors for this service you can use who have similar product, nothing offered was unique. In our opinion ,we would advise being very careful in your dealings with a company like this who has such little concern for the homeowners and will stop at nothing at the expense of not disturbing the contractor/builder they made an agreement with.
