 + -1 moreI had a similar bad experience with Robert Springer. He took an $800 deposit for a storm front door and a custom-made screen door for my porch. He said he would install the storm door within two weeks and temporarily fix the screen door until the custom-made door was ready. I have been unable to contact him since. He has no mailing address, his cell phone no longer takes messages, and he refuses to answer my repeated e-mail inquiries. I intend to file a complain with the North Carolina Division of Consumer Protection, the Better Business Bureau, and the Chatham County Small Claims Court.
Description of Work: He has done nothing.

Description of Work: He came for an estimate to look at what needed replaced and what needed repaired. He took a $600 deposit for replacement doors, which I found out later was about 3 times as much as was needed. I also later found out that he had no intention of working on my time schedule, but his. He took my money under false pretenses by writing up a receipt with no intention of ordering the doors in timely manner. I felt I had been defrauded. He harassed me for almost a week before he finally mailed reimbursement, which I demanded. The harassment was really bad and he continues to bully me. He hung up on my phone calls, he sent me harassing emails, and he reported me to the sheriff. On July 22, he sent me another veiled cyber-bullying email threat. He just can't leave it alone. I've heard of other customers who've used him who have also reported problems.
