PRO SET has been providing quality custom basketball goal installations for the fine people of North Carolina, including but not limited to, Southern Virginia and Northern South Carolina, for 18 years. Started in 1993 by Bob Brandt and taken over by John Eberle in 2003, Pro Set has offered North Carolinian's and others vast experience and knowledge of basketball goals and goal installations. With over 5000+ goals installed, Pro Set continues in providing the best quality, service and customer care in the business. You'd be hard pressed to find someone with more working knowledge of basketball goals and installations anywhere!! When you hire PRO SET you are hiring a local company that has more experience than anybody in the area. Over 5000 goals installed for over 18 years give me the experience, knowledge and ability to get a goal installed in almost every situation. You may have a situation that you think is impossible to put a goal up in but I can almost guarantee that I have seen it, done it, or can figure out how it can be done!!(We do not mount goals over garages though, Sorry!!) I have put in goals for the likes of Roy Williams(UNC Men's Basketball Head Coach), Sylvia Hatchell(UNC Women's Basketball Head Coach), Bill Cowher (former Pittsburgh Steeler's Head Coach), Johnny Dawkins (Current Stanford head basketball coach and former Duke men's assistant basketball coach & player) Eric Montross (former UNC and NBA basketball player) Tory & Terrence Holt (NC St. stars and NFL players) I could keep going but I'll stop there (SEE NOTABLE CLIENTELE LIST FOR NOT ALL BUT MORE)!! Pro Set is the best in the area when it comes to basketball goal installations and all the work I do is guaranteed!! If you are moving and need a goal moved from the old house I can do that, as well as old goal removals, line painting, delivery/assembly of game tables, and some fitness equipment. I believe in this company and our commitment to each customer. Why use a in-store installation company who is only concerned with getting the work done and paid and are gone once they finish? Pro Set is a local company that is committed to the customer for the life of their product, I'm available for repairs maintenance, whatever the need may be!! I can also assist in helping you decide what goal is best suited for your situation(age of kids,amount of play etc.) so just give a call or email! Pro Set provides the best in basketball goal installation services. Whether it is the installation of the goal itself or giving advice on placement or what type of goal to buy, Pro Set's 5000 plus goal experience offers second to none knowledge and expertise!! Pro Set also offers experience in delivery and assembly of game tables (ping pong, air hockey, combo tables, foosball) and fitness equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes). Pro Set has been in business in the Triangle for 18 years with the focus of offering the best in installation services and a commitment to customer satisfaction!! You may find someone cheaper or someone who's "done a couple" or someone who's better looking (that's especially easy!!) but I almost guarantee they cannot offer the experience and care that Pro Set uses and has used for over 18 years!! No one has installed more goals in this area than Pro Set and even if they are cheaper or better looking, isn't peace of mind knowing your goal is being installed by the best the area and arguably the country, worth more than a few bucks?? Cutting into Concrete/Asphalt I can cut into existing concrete/asphalt to allow for goals to be installed in even the most unique locations. Some companies charge anywhere from $150-$295!!!! I'll perform this service for a nominal fee!! Old Goal Removals If you have an old goal, I'll can take it out and replace it with a new one or just take it out and haul it away!! As with everything else, I am very fair with my pricing on said work!! Removal prices are not included with new goal installations!!

Start with John as you begin researching goals. He has a WEALTH of knowledge and will likely steer you towards a Pro Shot goal. Not even on our radar as long-time Goalrilla devotees, but will never go with Goalrilla again. LOVE the Pro Shot! Check out John's website: http://www.prosetgoalinstall.com/ and don't hesitate contracting with him for a trip down from Raleigh. He recommended a different location for our goal (my initial choice was thoughtlessly misguided) and hand dug and smoothed a PERFECT concrete mount. Can a regulation size basketball goal installation be a work of art? Yes - if John does the work!

John is an awesome guy, very friendly and very professional. The job took a long time to get complete but it had to do with the supplier we needed to order parts from, not him. He dug up an old post, dug/cemented a new one, removed old pole and placed topsoil over the exposed area. He did so well, another neighbor asked him to remove their pole and he is looking at a new install for another family member of mine. I had NO idea where to go for this type of work and had no expectations but John is awesome! Thanks.

John was very prompt in calling me back and made several suggestions on what to look for in my basketball system purchase prior to buying. I'm glad I did listen as I was able to buy a much better system on line than what the local retailers offered. On the first part of the install, he dug the hole, poured the concrete, shaped and smoothed the top so it looked nice and sunk the anchors and rebar. The hoop installation was 3 days later as the concrete needed 3 days to dry. He assembled and installed the hoop in a couple hours and we were able to use it by noon. Overall, it was a very positive experience, John was extremely professional and courteous throughout the process and I would not hesitate to use him again if we need this type of service.
Description of Work: Install an in ground basketball system which included digging the hole, pouring the concrete, and assembling and installing the unit.
