They took a lot of care and pride in their work. They did a great job. Our fireplace now looks fantastic and we are very happy with it! We had used them back in 2012 to sweep the chimney. We also read their reviews on Angie's List and felt very comfortable having them in our home!

Two guys were here and on time ready to work. Very professional in their uniforms and extremely courteous. They put on booties to walk through my house and laid down a drop cloth around the fireplace. They immediately got to work after explaining to me what they would be doing. I observed as they ran the camera up my fireplace and they also inspected the top on the roof. They went over the results of the inspection with me, told me what they cleaned and made sure I understood how the flute worked. They cleaned everything up after themselves and were out pretty quickly. I would definitely use these guys again.

Guys did a good job, inspected my catalyst, which is in good shape. There may or may not have been damage to some wiring when the stove unit was removed and put back, but it wasn't an issue, they came back and fixed the issue without charge. Love em.

Originally they were very responsive and then over time when we were negotiating the project they became less and less responsive.

They were very professional. There was two of them. They were in and out pretty quickly. They were efficient.

I just thought the service was pricey, but it was promptly and competently done.

From the quick response to my email inquiry to completion of the work, this company was prompt, helpful and professional. The work was completed as requested. Price seemed a bit high for services rendered but I think its comparable to what these services cost industry wide. I recommend this company for chimney related needs. First used them over 15 years ago and they have certainly maintained their excellent standards.

Super easy to deal with as provider was on time and prepared. I really appreciated both expertise regarding gutters and input on how to keep the facade of the house looking good.

They were very good. I'm kind of slightly mixed reviews. They did the job, everything was great and they were very prompt, very polite, very good but they may have jiggled a heart of, I have an external chimney that is metal and they may have just jiggled a part of it out of position. There's a cap at the very bottom and I think when they were cleaning it, it fell loose and so, when I realized it was loose, I pushed it back up and everything was perfect but it did take me a few works while they're applying, it wasn't drying right before I realized what it was. Aside from that, they were great, prompt, courteous and did good work. Their first job was to clean both chimneys, I've got two chimneys and they did that very well. The second was to put the top on one of my chimney has rusted out and quite honestly, the only reason I called them for that was because I'm 71 and getting over an edge of a three-story roof makes me nervous so I knew it was going to be easy and everything and the guys came out, were really good, did the job so that was it, they've been good. The chimney didn't draw well for a while and I was just kind of going, "I wonder what the problem is" and then when I finally started calling, "You got to get down and fall under to check that" and when I checked that it was "Ah Okay" They must not have been loose but that was 6 months later so how sure am I that it was their fault, I'm not. I also had them to do my daughter's chimney and they did a great job, prompt, easy, and work well. I don't know how to compare them to other people because I haven't used other people. They came out, they used a video system to check the inside of the chimneys and they were busy so the owner came up and did it.

They were really helpful. They came out whenever we were available to do the work and it was quick. They were very professional and nice.

They were professional in cleaning fireplace and then detailing the required work for the chimney. The repair work took two days and then there was a short delay in finishing due to weather problems. We have used the fireplace throughout a cold winter with no problems.

The crew was great. Our chimney had quite a build up, which was cleaned out, and no mess was left behind in our house.

Appt was scheduled between 2-3pm. Daniel called at 2:15pm to let me know specific arrival time. After arrival, Daniel confirmed what he would do, spread tarps from front door to fireplace, setup equipment. He used a triple-sealed vacuum to clean hearth and ash; then swept the metal chimney flu with a wire brush from the bottom up, while using a sealed blower system to push the creosote up and out the chimney, rather than dropping it to the hearth. Then he brushed and cleaned the firebox, and put a camera up the entire inside of the chimney. We saw the clean pipe and the intact pipe joints. Daniel then climbed onto roof to inspect chimney cap (which was painted and ok). He cleaned up everything, and was done in about 2 hrs. Total cost $195 as proposed. Daniel also explained what he was doing, and answered all of our questions re: frequency of sweeping, possible replacement with insert, etc. Will definitely call on Chimeny's Plus again

It could not have gone better. Charlie and Don were very no-nonsense and direct but really knew their stuff, and their estimate was spot-on. When it came time for the work to be done, the crew was right on time, very polite and very professional. They even cleaned off the driveway when they were done! There were a few snags in the work due to some rotting wood beneath the vinyl on my fascia boards. The gutter guys recommended I call Trades of The Triangle to come do the repair, so I followed the recommendation, and The guys at Trades of The Triangle were every bit as professional and efficient as Chimneys Plus. When the crew returned to complete the gutters they stayed true to form, and were right on time, and very professional. This was a job that needed to be done for a while, and I was very frustrated with a few other service providers who couldn't be bothered to call me back in a timely manner or even e-mail a quote. Chimneys Plus/ Gutter Solutions will be getting my business for a long time to come.

Crew was very nice & professional. Arrived early and called ahead to ask if that was OK. Performed thorough cleaning & video inspection and took effort to have me see the results in real time. Also removed an old Buck stove which took a good deal of time. I imagine this took up the total price. They also installed a new damper plate and latch. The price quoted for all of this was $200 less than the invoice, which was also not itemized out so it's a bit hard to tell where the difference was.

They were professional and arrived on time. They took the time to make sure everything was working optimally. It did seem a little expensive but I didn't comparison shop so I can't say how they compare to other, similar providers.

The chimney sweep was on time. He was very friendly and professional. With all the opportunities for dirt that sweeping a chimney can create, this sweep didn't create a speck of dust. His work was clean - wearing booties and using drop cloths. After sweeping, he brought out the video camera to assess the interior of the chimney, looking for leaks and cracks. We watched the video with him and he explained what he was seeing as he moved the camera up the chimney. He gave it a clean bill of health, but did take pictures for the record of areas to review when they return in the future. On the exterior, he checked the chimney and found that the chimney cap screening had partially detached (it had been up for about 10 years...). He reattached the screens. He was in and out in about an hour.

Chimneys Plus Inc were close. They did a good job.

They quoted $7,250 for a lot of chimney and flue repairs and upgrades that I had my doubts about -- relining one flue entirely with ceramics, and another with stainless steel. (It is a three fireplace house, and I wanted to replace gas logs with a wood stove, so it was somewhat complicated.) I brought in another service that did some mortar work and helped me put in the woodstove, and the bill was less than $500. I have used the fireplaces and woodstoves very heavily this year, and have had no concerns about the safety of the work. They were super professional, and they may well have done good work, but I think they really oversold what I needed

They arrived when they said they would. They took all the necessary precautions to keep the living room clean. When they were done cleaning we could see a large heat crack in the back panel of the fireplace from the previous winter. Thank goodness the house did not burn down. They ordered another panel and replaced it within the week.

Very good work. Would definitely recommend.
