Description of Work: Installed new propane fireplace insert (lining with gas logs and cover for chimney). Work done as agreed upon in a timely manner. Able to coordinate with other installer. Paid a deposit in advance so insert could be ordered. Office staff helpful with reminder calls, etc. Returned after the install to demonstrate how to use the fireplace with remote controls once propane service established.

Description of Work: Cleaned, inspected and serviced gas logs. Fireplace and flue cleaned and inspected with video camera. The service was completed in a timely manner; the workmen were very respectful; they answered many questions and cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely use again.

Description of Work: I had just purchased an older home and the previous owners had never used the gas fireplace. Chimneys Plus serviced the gas logs and inspected and cleaned the chimney. They were very helpful and answered all questions I had as well as giving reasonable guidelines for servicing in the future.

Description of Work: My chimney has not been used since we bought the house, and I wanted an inspection to tell me if it is safe to use. They would not provide a chimney inspection unless is was done as a part of a (expensive) cleaning. I went with another vendor who offered an inspection without cleaning, saving me nearly 70%.

Description of Work: Great work, professional and prompt. I invited Chimneys Plus to inspect my fire place prior to use. The inspection was honest and complete. In the end we decided to install a wood stove inside our fire place opening. We are very happy. The advice I got was appreciated and informed. The work was done beautifully and now we enjoy a Jodel stove and heat our house with wood.

Description of Work: Chimney's plus assessed the chimney cap and fireplace and determined the reason for the leak. They had a new chimney cap of the appropriate size and design fabricated and installed and waterproofed the exposed brick on the fireplace. Very efficient and professional.
