Description of Work: They cut down a tree that had been dead for some time. It was a large tree and the job was done well and at a good price. I would definitely use them again!

Description of Work: Ronnie came out for a consultation about trees on property we purchased. We knew there were rare trees on the lot and wanted to keep the healthy ones, while clearing others for a new home. He was not only exceedingly knowledgable but genuinely concerned about preserving out trees. A sentiment we share.

+ -1 moreRonnie and his team were extremely professional, responsive and cleaned up after all of their work was completed. It took them 1 full week to complete all of the work, but there was no time in which they were delaying the work. There was a storm that came through that knocked down many trees in the RDU area and they were called to remove trees that had landed on houses. Before they committed to the other client, they made sure that they called us to alert us of any delay. Ronnie and his team also coordinated with our stump grinders. We would definitely call Ronnie and his team for any future work.
Description of Work: Audubon Tree Service provided tree removal of over 15 very large pine trees located very close to our house.

+ -1 moreThey did have a little trouble getting organized and getting the time scheduled. We scheduled once and we had a miscommunication. Once he got back in touch with me and got it scheduled, they were prompt and did the work well. He did a little something extra for me and he sort of threw that in to make up for the mess up of the timing. His price was reasonable.
Description of Work: I used Audubon Tree Service to remove two dead trees and they topped out some dead branches in a third.

+ -1 moreThis was a pleasant experience which we had dreaded to undertake. Choosing the right tree specialist was paramount and we had no idea where to start. Someone mentioned Audubon and we were sold after speaking with the representative who came to discuss our needs. While at our house we all chatted about several of our trees and he took time to answer our questions about future trimming. He was not pushy or boastful. When he gave us the estimate we were impressed with his pricing. The quality of the work done by Audubon Tree Service was exemplary.
Description of Work: After contacting Audubon Tree someone (Ronnie, one of the owners) arrived within two days to discuss our needs. He was very knowledgeable and really listened to our questions/ideas. He was not hurried, gave us plenty of time and helped with options for service. The estimate was very specific with price per tree. For $525.00 Audubon cut & removed a huge magnolia, gigantic hickory, a smaller hickory, an ash and a maple. Two stumps were ground (magnolia & maple). Removal was complete...no limbs, leaves, or wood chips left behind. It was amazing. Some of this work was done on an incline and around a stone wall. Utmost respect was given to personal property. We will be calling this company again in 2012 for part 2 of our tree removal plan.

+ -1 moreNothing has happened since their last visit. I don't have them out all the time and they come when something happens. I like Audubon Tree Service. There is nothing in particular that I like about them. They are professional and respectful. They also do a good job. I feel comfortable with them. They are fine. I don't know what everybody else charges, but I am happy with their price. Their quality is excellent and I am happy with that too. Their responsiveness is excellent and their punctuality is great. I will use them anytime something happens.
Description of Work: I have been using Audubon Tree Service for over 20 years now. Their last visit to my house was about two years ago in July. When they last came out, there was a very big tree that they had to carry up a hill.

+ -1 moreNothing was damaged and they did a very good job of cleaning up. They are also very nice. This is why I keep calling them back
Description of Work: I have a large natural lot that is very steep and has no lawn. They have done work for me for 15 to 20 years. I don't need a grass cutting service, just a tree company. Last July they took down a VERY tall tree close to the back deck and house plus 4 in front of the house. The tree in back was really, really difficult.
