I don't remember what I paid and I was stunned it was so little. He came out in the middle of the night and it was miserable.

Doug NIcholson made the whole process simple and complete. Doug was always punctual. If he was ever running behind schedule he would immediately notify us. Everything was completed as promised and on schedule. His pricing was fair and less than other bids. Installing a whole house back up system involves several steps, including: Coming to our home to understand our needs and explaining the different alternatives, sending us a bid (right on schedule); coming back to determine where the generator will be placed; setting the install schedule; getting the necessary permits; contacting the gas company to set up their part of the installation; pouring the concrete pad; setting up the needed relays and circuits for our power panel; installing the generator; passing electrical inspection; having the gas company connect; running the generator tests; and explaining how to operate the system. Doug was on top of every phase, letting us know what would be involved, when it would happen, and any other thing we might need to know. He was patient and professional in explaining these things to us. Luckily we have not needed to use the back up yet; but the system does self test once a week, so I'm not worried about it working. I would definitely recommend Nicholson for purchasing and installing a generator system.

Very well. The Nicholson brothers were knowledgeable, courteous and professional. They answered my questions in detail and didn't mind that I stood around and watched and took photos. They worked neatly and cleaned up after themselves, always a plus with a sort of OCD personality. In an area where it's next to impossible to find good service companies, and even get someone to return your calls, they definitely are a breath of mountain air freshness. I look forward to continuing doing businesswith them.

These two gentlemen were very professional, yet personable. Every step was completed efficiently and as promised. The entire procedure took only two days.
