+ -1 moreJosh had great ideas and generally good execution if somewhat slower than I'd expected. Besides the fact that the grass that was planted last fall is now all dead. The main issue I had was Josh's unwillingness to fill out a W-9 so that I could report payments to the IRS. When you pay anyone that is not an incorporated business more than $800 in a year, by law, one is supposed to report those payments to the IRS. Anyone who does work for me needs to complete same no matter who they are -- I have no intention of running afoul of IRS rules. I had informed Josh of same,and he kept having excuses for not filling out the form and ultimately never did, then stopped returning my email or text requesting it. Of course I still reported the income to the IRS as best I could. My own fault for allowing him to do work before getting the paper signed but I had advised him in advance it was necessary. I am self-employed as well and am required to provide such information to my clients. Very unprofessional behavior on his part in my view..
Description of Work: Landscaping the front yard area was needed. I didn't really know what I wanted but it was unappealing,the existing ground cover was dying.

+ -1 moreIt looks great and I was amazed that the grass actually grew! It was not cheap, but a fair price for the work done. I do not mind investing in plants and stones that will last. I look forward to rejuvenating other areas of the yard in the spring.
Description of Work: Wanted to replace an area with dying groundcover and lots of shade. This yard area is right in front of the house and I as well as visitors see it every day. I had attempted to hire others in the past who never showed or had no ideas other than ivy (which is invasive and thus not of interest). Josh had a creative solution with hearty small plants and shrubs surrounded by rock path and stones, accented by grass at the outer edges.

Description of Work: I had some very overgrown bushes in the front of my home. Josh came over, on time, and pruned and shaped them. He did a great job and will definitely use his services again.
