Description of Work: John at Viking stained glass has worked with me on several home projects. The most recent being the stained glass for my new front door. John is always a pleasure to deal with and is very knowledgable. He helped us choose a design for my windows and gave us a full scale drawing that we could use to tweek the design. I took the drawing and had it reduced and then after getting samples of glass used colored pencils to see how it was going to look. John worked from that colored drawing and everything went very smoothly. The front door came out beautiful!! It makes such a great impression when someone comes to the house and we love it so much!! I have another project I want to start and I will be calling John to help me with that.

+ -1 moreJohn is a Very creative, insightful and talented individual. I believe that he really understood what I was trying to achieve. The stained glass window is gorgeous, looks like a beautiful tuscan village with villas, cobblestone walkways and a waterway. The colors, textures are striking and very custom. John's personality can be a bit of a challenge, but he does outstanding work and I would highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Designed and installed a stained glass window for a large, half-moon window in my master bathroom.

+ -1 moreOur experience with Viking was excellent. John promptly visited our home to provide an estimate and design consultation. After drafting the original full-size design, we visited his shop to sign off on the design and pick specific glass to be used for the project. John offered design suggestions but always deferred to our requirements. We did grant him a certain amount of ''artistic license,'' which he used professionally to turn out an overall excellent product. Turnaround time was about 2 weeks. Installation was performed immediately upon completion of the new window. I would certainly recommend Viking to others and use their services again.
Description of Work: Viking designed and installed a custom stained glass window (60'' x 11'') for a transom, using design samples that we provided to them. They removed the original plain glass as part of the job.

+ -1 moreJOHN WAS VERY PROMPT TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE AND HAD TO RETURN TO MAKE A STENCIL OF THE EXISTING STAINED GLASS TO MAKE SURE IT MATCHED. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED TODAY AND WAS A TERRIFIC MATCH AND WE ARE EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH HIS CRAFTSMANSHIP FOR A DIFFICULT JOB. HIS MOTTO IS ''CRAFTSMANSHIP WITH INTEGRITY'' AND LIVED UP TO THIS STATEMENT.
Description of Work: IN OUR FAMILY ROOM WE HAD A STAINED GLASS TRANSOM MADE TO MATCH THE ONE TO THE HALLWAY. EXISTING PLAIN GLASS HAD TO BE REMOVED AND THE NEW STAINED GLASS INSTALLED IN IT'S PLACE.
