Tile Collection Inc

We found a nice piece of granite that matched our bathroom well. It was about $600 less the the price we got at the home improvement store, came with a upgraded edge and two undermount sinks. They were fast with getting the whole project put together. We picked out our slab on Monday morning and by Tuesday afternoon everything was set up with a two week installation time. They installed the countertop on the day and time they said they would and it looks great.

The project went well overall. There was a small delay in finishing since more rot was found and required more tile to be ordered. Some wall paper damage occurred but extra trim tile was added at no cost to me to cover it. The tiling job is beautiful and a 19-year-old bath looks wonderful. Excellent experience.

They were on time, highly skilled, and while a little more than everybody else it was still worth it.

Awful. The owner (Mark) was the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with and took no responsibility whatsoever. It wasn't until we showed him a copy of our email (proving how much they screwed up) that they finally came out on another day to install the rest of our granite. Our island is smaller than what we ordered and paid for and they never gave us our money back for the extra granite that we paid for but never received. Don't use this company. We were so disgusted that we cancelled our backsplash order and went with another company (who was great, by the way).

There was a small problem with some of the work and they replaced that work without any hassle. The only real problem we had was with a plumber they sent to reconnect the sink and garbage disposal. A few days later the plumbing work fell apart and it took him a few weeks to come back and repair it.

They were very accommodating, if something wasn't right, they were there to make it right and at no inconvenience to me.

They were good. Their recommended subcontractors were good also.

Laura was excellent to work with. I had a little bit of a problem and they had someone right out within the hour to fix it. She was really sweet and always called back. They were a really nice company to work with.

We worked with Teresa who was so helpful and just a joy to work with. She was very informative and left no question unanswered. Price offered was competitive and we liked the convenience of working w/ Tile Collection. Their showroom has a great location (next to Carolina Place Mall) and they have so much experience that they really have streamlined the process. Teresa gave us the names of 5 different granite warehouses and we went and chose our granite slabs. Tile Collection picked them up and took them to their fabrication facility. Template workers then came to the house and made the templates. Two weeks after template we had our install. The guys showed up 2 hrs.late, but they phoned us to say they would be late due to a "personal problem". Guys arrived and were oddly quiet. Barely a hello from them... they just came in and started working. Install began at 10:30 and was completed by 4:30 (minus a 2 hour lunch break). We are very pleased w/ the results.

I dealt with Theresa, and she was excellent. Some of the other people there were not very personable, but she was wonderful. I thought the process in allowing me to go out and select the granite slab was great. When they let me come to the shop where they cut the granite, they were great to deal with letting me even pick out the sections of the piece of granite I had already chosen. The installers were superb. I got other quotes that were less, but I wanted to go with a company that could ensure a quality job, which is what they did.

They have a very good sales representatives. They are very good, qualified, and knowledgeable. They have an excellent selection of tile, stones, etc. We have used them a number of times. We met the fabricators and they arrived on time. They showed us exactly what they would be doing and how they would be cutting the countertops. They are not the cheapest in town but in our opinion they are very good at what they do.

The salesperson, Brittany Woods was very knowledgeable and courteous. She assisted us with choosing the product and kept us informed at every step of the process. This company is very well organized and has a system in place to ensure that all aspects from sale through completion of installation goes smoothly. The installation crew was on time and worked deligently to complete installation in the projected time frame. They were polite and professional and they cleaned up when the job was done. The quality of the job was outstanding. We were very impressed!

The salesperson, Brittany Woods, assisted us with product selection and informed us of how the process works. She communicated with us during each step of the process. This company is very well organized, and has a system to ensure that the process is smooth and that the customers expectations are met. The crews were on time, courteous and professional. They completed the installation on time and cleaned up when they were finished. The quality was excellent. This company gives great customer service.

Tammy, an interior designer at Tile Collection Inc, could not have been nicer. She listened to what we wanted to accomplish and then made recommendations on the best approach to meet our design and price objectives. For us, she recommended going to the warehouse and seeing if we could find remnant pieces that would work in each bathroom and kitchen. We were assisted by Jessica and Johnny at the warehouse, and were able to find just the right pieces. The installation team was also excellent. They first came to measure and then to install the tops. They cleaned up when completed and made sure we were pleased with their work before they left. We also had the opportunity to meet Mark and Elaine Creasser, the owners. They could not have been nicer. As you can see from this write up, we are very pleased with the way we were treated at Tile Collection and very excited about the beautiful tops we now have.

I had to clean up after a workman, with drips of plaster down the cabinets. They also missed grout in several areas, needing to return to the job site twice. Finished project does look good, however.

I am happy with the finished product, but the service along the way was a bit spotty. The consultant in the store forgot to write down the color of the tile I picked, forgot to get contracts signed, forgot to give me a copy of the contract once it was signed, calculated the cost of the floor incorrectly at first, ordered too few tiles, requiring a delay of a couple of weeks in the middle of installation, etc. The primary installer was good, but the person who came to fix the remaining issues didn't show up for a scheduled appointment, then called a week later to reschedule.

The sales staff at Tile Collection were always very helpful and responsive. The staff at the granite warehouse was great, too. They wanted us to be 100% satisfied with our granite slabs before bringing them to our house to install. The guys who installed the countertops were very professional and worked hard all day. They did an excellent job. The guy who installed the backsplash also did an excellent job. He worked all day and came back the next morning to finish the job and clean up his mess. Tile Collection's prices were lower than the two other places I received quotes from . They did an outstanding job and I would definitely use them again in the future.

Service was great. Workers showed up when they were supposed to, cleaned up, and were courteous. Fabulous assistance with helping me design a backsplash for the kitchen. I would definitely use them again.

WE HAD OUR FRONT PORCH TILED BY TILE COLLECTION. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. IN FACT, WE WENT TO TILE COLLECTION TO LOOK AT PAVERS WHEN THE SALESPERSON SUGGESTED THE TILE. WE ARE GLAD SHE DID AS IT IS SO EASY TO SWEEP AND EVEN MOP! WE GET COMPLIMENTS ON THE PORCH ALL THE TIME. IT ACTUALLY TURNED OUT BETTER THAN WE ANTICIPATED!

ALTHOUGH THE FINAL PRICE WAS HIGHER THAN ORIGINALLY QUOTED, ALL WORK WAS PERFORMED AS EXPECTED. THE GRANITE WAS SUPPLIED TO TILE COLLECTIONS BY AGM IMPORTS. WE WENT TO AGM AND SELECTED THE GRANITE SLAB FROM WHICH OUR COUNTER TOPS WERE CUT. THE WHOLE PROCESS WAS PROFESSIONAL AND WE WERE TOTALLY CONFORTABLE WITH THIS ORGANIZATION. THE PRICE FOR THE GTANITE WAS LOWER THAN QUOTED BY OTHER ORGANIZATIONS WE VISITED.

I USED TILE COLLECTION FOR A TILE FLOOR FOR MY NEW TERRACE BEFORE REALIZING THAT THIS COMPANY WAS A SERVICE PROVIDER ON ANGIE'S LIST. THIS IS A GREAT COMPANY TO WORK WITH. VICKI MOBLEY AT TILE COLLECTION IS ONE OF THE BEST INDIVIDUALS I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH, FROM PICKING OUT THE GRANITE AND TILE TO THE VERY END OF THE JOB. IT IS ONE OF THE FEW COMPANIES THAT I HAVE WORKED WITH THAT ACTUALLY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO IT!! THERE WERE NO CANCELLED APPOINTMENTS AND ALL INSTALLERS WERE ON TIME, VERY PROFESSIONAL, NEAT AND CLEAN, AND DID A FABULOUS JOB. TRULY A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

THEIR WORKERS, ESPECIALLY LEWIS, WERE ALWAYS ON TIME, POLITE AND DID A REAL QUALITY JOB. THERESA CAMPBELL, THE DESIGNER I WORKED WITH AT THE TILE COLLECTION, WAS VERY NICE. SHE DID A FANTASTIC JOB PICKING OUT THE PERFECT COLOR OF TILE FOR ALL THREE PROJECTS. IT REALLY LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

THEIR WERE TWO DIFFERENT GENTLEMEN THAT INSTALLED THE COUNTERTOP AND THE BACKSPLASH. BOTH WERE ON TIME AND THE WORK THEY DID WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. WHEN THEY INSTALLED THE COUNTERTOP THEY DINGED A CABINET. THEY SAID THEY WOULD FIX IT, BUT HAVE NOT YET. THIS IS THE ONLY NEGATIVE ASPECT. THE PERSON THAT WAS IN CHARGE WAS THE ONE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE CARE OF IT AND DID NOT. THE WORKERS WERE VERY POLITE AND CLEANED UP EVERYTHING. YOU COULDN'T EVEN TELL THEY WERE HERE. I LOVE MY NEW KITCHEN. THEIR QUOTE FOR THIS WORK WAS LOWER THAN OTHER ESTIMATES I RECEIVED.

SALESPERSON COULD HAVE ASSISTED MORE. INITIAL GRANITE WE ORDERED WRONG PATTERN FOR "U" COUNTERTOP. HAD TO BE RE-ORDERED.WE ORDERED TILE BASED ON GRANITE SAMPLE. ACTUAL WAS DIFFERENT COLOR. TILE SELECTED WAS NOT BEST COLOR. RECOMMEND INSTALLING GRANITE FIRST THEN SELECTING TILE. BELIEVE SALESPERSON COULD HAVE TOLD US THIS. SALESPERSON DID NOT RESPOND TO PHONE CALLS. HAD TO GET MGR. INVOLVED. GOOD INSTALLATION CREW.

NOT HONEST AND A JOB THEY SAID WOULD TAKE 6 HOURS TOOK 5 MONTHS. INSTALLER DID A DECENT JOB, BUT THEY WERE RUDE WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. ALSO VASTLY UNDERESTIMATED THE DIFFICULTY OF THE JOB AND DIDN'T USE HALF OF THE MATERIAL THAT WE ENDED UP HAVING TO PAY FOR. I HAVE HEARD MANY OTHER NIGHTMARE STORIES ABOUT THIS COMPANY!!!!!
