replacement windows, doors
+ 0 moreThough they do admit there is a problem, they will not resolve the entire issue.
Description of Work: We purchased 2 sets of doors and three windows from The Building Center in Rock Hill, SC.The cost of this was $6,218.We have problems with the quality of construction on the product we received.The doors and windows were delivered with an excessive amount of nail holes in the brick mould.One door has over 70 nail holes.Two of the windows and one of the doors are unacceptable.We have attempted negotiation with this company.It is difficult because they continuously ignore phone calls and emails.Physically showing up at the business did get us a meeting with Bryce Lowman, general manager.He seemed to agree to a repair in a manner acceptable to us.We requested the mould be ready to install, either already painted or a poly product.34' of poly 180 was delivered. That does not repair two 8" windows and the 8' French doors.When we questioned him about this, the emails go unanswered again.I do have a file of emails and calls.

replacement windows
+ -1 moreSomebody else installed them for me but they recommended a person. The brand of windows is Lincoln and they sell them. They have a showroom with windows from different window manufacturers. They delivered them after I got them, and then I had to get someone to come and paint them because I wanted them to match the exterior and interior of my house. So I had them painted and then I had a third person come that is a professional window installer who does that for a living.
Description of Work: I used Building Center to buy about 23 windows.
