OASIS POOLS PLUS OUTDOOR LIVING SHOWPLACE

Last fall, I purchased a clearance group of patio furniture from Oasis Pools. I also ordered additional matching pieces. The woman I worked with was pleasant and helpful. Since I was in a new house, I expected to need a few more pieces come spring / summer and specifically asked whether I would be able to order additional pieces. I was told by one salesman that they would not be carrying Telescope Casual brand furniture in the future; however, this saleswoman assured me that I would be able to purchase it through them since it is a quality line of patio furniture. Well, I did try to purchase additional pieces. When I went to the store, the sales staff was marginally helpful and when I asked about ordering the Telescope Casual furniture, I was told that they would not be able to do so. This is in direct conflict with their website which currently indicates that they are a Telescope Casual retailer and it is currently "on sale". Afterwards I immediately went to The Fire House Casual Living Store and they were extremely helpful and had great prices. I am ordering my furniture from them. This was not my first bad experience with Oasis Pools and Spas. When the additional chairs I ordered in Fall 2009 arrived, one of the cushions was defective. I called to see what could be done. I was told that I would have to wait a week before I could bring it by since they were converting to their Christmas shop (Peppermint Forest). When I did bring it by, the salesman who helped me was dismissive and rude. He told me that he could not locate the original purchase order and the person responsible for ordering patio furniture wasn't currently there. He said he would relay the information and nothing further was needed from me. After waiting approximately 2 months, I called to find out if the replacement cushion had arrived and was told that it had not. Later that day, I received a call from them saying that it just arrived! I had the impression that they could not locate the customer infomation to call me. They appeared to be disorganized and not customer oriented. I will not be doing business with them in the future.

THE INSTALLERS WERE VERY NICE AND PROMPT. THEY ALSO DID A FEW EXTRA THINGS FOR US (THAT WE NEEDED TO HAVE PROPER SPACE FOR THE POOL) AT NO CHARGE AND WITH NO PROBLEMS.
