Description of Work: Michael has done countless jobs for me. Bathroom renovations, appliance repairs, carpentry work, window installation, and plumbing.

Description of Work: Mr. Maners finished work I had started in my garage (sheet rock finishing and painting); he also built shelves in the garage to increase my storage space.

Description of Work: Michael has done a number of things, from installing a hot water heater to fixing cracked ceiling and walls, chopping out rotted wood and refitting with new materials outdoors, fixing broken switches and bathroom fans. No job too big or too small, and nothing he doesn't know. He really is an expert on anything and everything in the home. And he is a perfectionist. When he does something, it is top quality. What is particularly nice is he will give expert advice on anything that he sees askew - just because he is concerned that you, as the owner, should have a home that is as safe and up to par as possible. Not because he is looking for more work, but just because he is knowledgeable and shares that information with you. "experts" I have used.

Description of Work: Michael Maners has worked for us on many projects in the last 4 years. The drywall work was done on the inside of our garage. He installed 4 walls and a ceiling in our unfinished garage. The garage is now a nicely finished room. The walls are smooth, the finishing is excellent. No flaws. I cannot give the price paid because the drywall was part of the whole garage project which included everything.

Description of Work: Mr. Maners did 3 majors jobs for me over a period of a few years; he built a large screened porch, built a 12x12 standalone Utility bldg, and painted my house. Each job was of very high quality and completed in a timely manner; he generally works alone but that does not diminish the work he produces. The screened in porch has a very finished look; all wood was yellow pine faced, painted, and has a stained wood porch floor. When painting the house, he also replaced many wondows in the house with newer, double-paned ones. He has done some plimbing work for us as well as some concrete work.

Description of Work: Michael Maners is a jack-of-all-trades and a fantastic worker. He has completed many jobs for us over the years (for the past six years): 1. Remodeled the kitchen: installed tile backsplash all around, removed wallpaper/painted, added under-cabinet lighting, replaced sink & fixtures, replaced ceiling lights. Cost: $7,000. 2. Over the past years, he turned our attic into a "living" room (design, walls, closets, floor, painting, lighting, fan, etc.). He designed it and did all the work himself. Cost: $15,000. 3. Also, we had a leak in our basement (every time it rained) and he put in a drain around the outside of the house and we haven't had a leak since. Cost: $9000. 4. Also, he built a bathroom downstairs (tile, walls, floor, doors, cabinets, lighting, shower door, etc.). Cost: $10,000. 5. He also turned the ugly area beneath our porch into a beautiful patio with brick pavers, wood edging, fan, and swing. Cost: $2,000. 6. He installed floor tile in the master bath. Cost: $1500. 7. He has painted almost every room in the house at one time or another plus many other miscellaneous jobs! Michael has painted most of the interior of our house and can repair anything that breaks. He always provides an estimate first and sticks to it; he's a perfectionist and does the job right. He is the one we call with any project that needs to be done or any repair. I recommend him 100%!!

Description of Work: Repaired hole in ceiling, which was a very odd angled affair which also involved a photo-border that we wanted to preserve if at all possible.

Description of Work: Michael has built houses and huge additions and has experience with everything. He can do anything, so we call him often. Michael completely finished the inside of our garage. He installed insulation, wide stair steps, drywall walls and ceiling, electrical fixtures, outlets, switches, and wiring, windows, woodwork, and doors. He then painted the interior. White shelving was installed on every wall from floor to ceiling. He separated the hot water heater and sprinkler system controls from the rest of the room with a wall and door. It is a very comfortable and pleasant room now, that we used for activities and storage. We had carpeting installed and we had a Mitsubishi Mr. Slim heat pump installed as well.

Description of Work: He floored my attic and installed lighting. He finished stairs and added a guard rail. He's installed cable outlets.
