Kale Lawn Care

As usual, Kale Lawn Care gave me more than my money's worth! My shrubs were way overgrown, tree branches were banging my husband in the head, and we had some sort of bushy monstrosity by the back fence that, combined with the overgrown branches, gave our yard kind of a creepy, reclusive vibe. Not now! Everything's nice and tidy; we can see our neighbors walking by (instead of just their feet), and once again, the guys cleaned up all the little bits of leaves and branches before they left:)

Jeff's guys came exactly when they said they would. They were tidy and friendly and worked hard. Jeff was very responsive. I would definitely use them again. Kale Lawn Care was the only one of 5 lawn care providers I contacted who came when they said they would.

We are in the midst of a great relationship with Kale Lawn Care - and owner Jeff Kale, in particular. Jeff is incredibly responsive. Any issues or requests are immediately responded to and resolved in a matter of hours. His crew storms our property each week and they are gone in 15 minutes, but they do a fantastic job mowing, edging and leaf blowing. On occasion we'll trim our own hedges or clip dead branches from trees and before we can load them into a yard bin, the Kale Lawn Care crew collects the debris and removes it from the property. Mulching service was exceptional and a good value given the amount of material delivered and spread across the property. There are a lot of disappointing service providers in the lawn care category in Charlotte - even among Angie's List-listed businesses. Kale Lawn Care is among the very best for attention to detail, attentiveness and value. Highly recommend!

Their pricing was extremely reasonable and the workers could not be more professional. In two days time they took up our entire front lawn, put in a lengthy river rock bed, trimmed trees, and laid down new sod. They waste no time. They could not be better and Jeff Kale is excellent. We could not be more pleased with them.

I had another landscaping company in to do some work in the backyard and in the process they destroyed my front and side yard with the heavy equipment used to move the materials to the backyard when they were done they said they were not responsible for the repairing of the lawn. The front yard had ruts from my driveway to the neighbor’s driveway and the lawn was tore up everywhere where the equipment got stuck in the mud from all the rain earlier in the week, the from and side yard had to be completely rebuilt and soded, the neighbor’s lawn in the backyard was also in need of repair. So I called 3 or 4 landscaping companies to see what it was going to take to repair my lawn. Jeff from Kale Lawn Care return my call within a day and was at my house within a couple of days and explained what they would do to correct the problem and what it was going to cost. He did a great job on explaining what needed to be done and how they were going correct the problem. Because of his understanding of the problem and his cost I went with Kale Lawn Care. They came out on a Monday and repaired all the surface for the preparation of the new sod to be laid, then on Tuesday they laid the sod, ended up using 4 pallets of sod to get the job done. All the workers were very professional and respectful of my neighbors and their property, then before leaving each day they cleaned all the driveways and sidewalks. We had a very positive experience with Jeff. In terms of difficulty, this project was "moderate plus" as the yard had a few areas with significant recesses and was struggling generating healthy grass. It was a multi-day project that required diligence and subsequent visits to put the finishing touches on the project. All of these visits were proactive after collaborative between the customer (us) and Jeff. It's clear that Jeff has the experience, employee bench strength and top tier equipment to accomplish landscaping tasks across a wide spectrum. The best recommendation I can give is that we were so pleased with the quality of work and service that we decided to go with Jeff Kale with a long term lawn maintenance package.

I contacted Jeff Kale based on his Angie's List ratings after experiencing months of my (then) yard service failing to show up. I had put the house on the market and needed the health of the yard to come back quickly. Jeff promptly returned my call for an estimate and came out that day. His team came to perform the yard service on the same day of the week each week and did a wonderful job. They had my yard in outstanding condition within weeks. I had high marks on 'curb appeal' when showing my house due to the fantastic job Jeff's team did. Jeff also reseeded an area of my yard and trimmed some hedges into a mushroom shape. This service appeared on 2 different bills. When I brought it to his attention, he immediately removed the erroneous charge. I have since sold the house and will be moving to the Davidson area that Jeff doesn't service. I highly recommend Kale's Lawn Service and my hope is that Jeff will come to Davidson SOON!!

Our experience was fantastic! Our yard has been transformed. First of all, Jeff could not be nicer. He is so responsive and seemed genuinely eager to earn our business the first time we met. We received his quote right away and the quote included a detailed description of the work to be performed. Once the work was scheduled, Jeff was great about communicating time lines, etc. Every single person that I have met from Kale Lawn Care has been pleasant and professional and our yard looks great. Several people have commented on the results. We liked Kale Lawn Care so much that we switched to them for our monthly yard maintenance. Overall superior experience!

I cannot recommend Jeff Kale highly enough! He is so knowledgeable about landscaping and yard care. On his initial visit he offered excellent suggestions for improving my property. Even better.. he follows through with everything.His crews are respectful and competent, they take all yard waste with them so I don't have to dispose of it, They even cleaned the gutters and repaired the uplights in the front yard.! They do it all, and everything is done well. Jeff returns calls and emails himself, usually within minutes. My yard looks great, I couldn't be more pleased.In short, Jeff is the best!! ...

I found them on Angie's List. They have been doing my yard for three weeks. I am already much happier with them than with who used to do my yard. I have a monthly contract with them. They provide me with different options.

These guys were great! My hedges were WAY past being trimmed as I usually would leave that job to my spouse who would get around to it "eventually". The owner, Jeff Kale, was prompt and professional and truly wanted me to be completely satisfied with the job. His men worked a solid two hours, and as I indicated above, actually picked though my spiky holly shrubs to remove a many little dead bits and pieces of the green stuff before it turned into brown stuff, which looks terrible on a shrub. When they were done, I was simply amazed at how nice they left my yard; all spruced up and tidy:) I would absolutely recommend Kale Lawn and Landscaping!

Kale did an excellent job. The owner was quick to respond to my inquiry and came out to give an estimate. He was very professional and pricing was very competitive. The team that did the work was both efficient and professional. They were much better than the service I used last year, which chewed up the grass with machinery. I was very satisfied and will plan to use them again next year.

I pay $150 a month and do it every week. My experience has been good so far and the owner came out and met me. He was very good, personable and gave me a reasonable rate. It’s difficult to say about the quality as it is a lawn, but they are punctual and do their job. I will continue to work with them in the future.

Since moving to Charlotte last year and buying a home for the first time, I have been through 2 lawn care companies - both had decent reviews on Angies and gave me the best price estimate of everyone I contacted. But there was a reason why they were lower priced..the service was horrible and the yard looked like I might as well not have anyone servicing it. I called Jeff Kale and they just started on a yearly contract - From start to finish he and this company are a top notch provider. Very professional, do great yard work and the guys who come out each week are doing a fantastic job. Kale Lawn is reasonably priced and I am getting my money's worth with them..such a relief after going through 2 companies in a year.. Now, I am just hoping they remain this way..:)
