Jeff and his crew did not disappoint. They had a very high reputation to live up to and even exceeded it. The yard looks great and they went the extra mile to make sure everything was in order. Some examples of this were that they demolished and re-built the retaining wall after the original construction of it per my request because I wanted it moved in slightly. Jeff and team didn't complain once, just came back out within the week and got the job done. Also, given my hectic schedule Jeff went to Lowes for me to purchase the hoses and sprinklers and set them up at no extra costs to me aside from the Lowes bill. Further, they even fixed my downspouts off of my gutters because of a poor job on the original instalation by another firm at no cost (not part of their job but did it anyway). Multiple neighbors have came by and asked who did the work and wanted Jeff's contact information because the yard, landscaping, and retaining wall looked so good after Jeff were finished. Don't think twice, Kale Lawn Care's positive reputation is real. Highly recommend you go with them for any landscaping or yard work you may have.

I found Kale's Lawn Care to be very reliable, trustworthy, and easy to get a hold of, always responding to my emails no matter how small the issue.. No project seems to be too small or too big for them, I've been satisfied and would highly recommend them.

I called this company and they were able to meet my needs at a fair price. Not only that, they were able to come the next day. The 3 guys showed up on time and worked fast and cleaned up afterwards. Very impressive and much appreciated. I plan to use them in the near future.

They are very accommodating to my needs are great at getting out on schedule and communicating with me. It's been a great service.

Initially, there were a few minor details that were missed from the original plan. However, I called Jeff and he was extremely responsive. These oversights were quickly and sufficiently addressed. I also have my lawncare plan through them and while it has taken a few weeks to get the service right where I want it, I have no complaints at all. The fact that Jeff is so responsive makes it easy to be patient and cooperative as we ensure I get what I pay for. I have used a lot of landscapers in the past and there is no doubt in my mind the most responsive has been Jeff. That is the most important thing to me, so often your calls go unreturned and overlooked. Not with this company. It's an above average response rate for any industry as far as I'm concerned.

I am very happy with him. He tried to accommodate our needs in every way, even though it was late in the season. Their price is reasonable for what they do. We’ve only had them for about a month, but so far they have jumped right in, trimmed all the bushes, and I think they have just done great! They are professional and skillful and their communication is great as well.

They are very professional and very responsive. So far our lawn looks better than it used to that is why I fired out my old guy that’s all I like. What I don’t really like is you have to commit to a one year contract, but I guess that is very common in that business.

Two to three people come out once a week. They take about 20 minutes unless doing other work. The owner Jeff Kale is very responsive to phone calls and emails when I have questions. I would tell a friend or family member that they come on a regular scheduled day unless rain or delay but they come as soon as possible.

Contacted Kale Landscaping based off reviews here on Angie's List. We made an appointment with Jeff Kale, and he came out right away to discuss our needs and recommend a solution. Jeff was a plethora of knowledge and has loads of great ideas. Jeff's crew came out to the property and did a massive clean-up job...we can actually see the house and all its wonder now! What an undertaking! The crew was delightful and their work exceeded our expectations. We are now using Kale's services for monthly maintenance service. Highly recommended, professional firm.

His crew removed landscaping (both dead and alive). They planted encore azalea's and some creeping Jenny. They also trimmed back all my landscaping on the property and dropped fresh pine needles.

One of the best features of working with Kale Lawn Care is Jeff. He always responds to special requests, he always takes my calls (and I've called him A LOT) and he is always kind, pleasant and informative. It's a pleasure to have a lawn care company that "does it all" and for a fair price. Can't say enough good things.

They're very punctual and they come when they say they're gonna come. When they say they're gonna come every week, they come every week. If the weather is bad, they adjust the schedule and find a way to still come to set everything in no matter what. Even if they do a week's worth of work and it rains for three days and they have three days worth of lawn that they used to do that they couldn't get to, they work late and on the weekends or whatever to still get everyone in that week. Everything they do looks really crisp and clean. We had people in the past that weren't as professional as these guys are and when they would mow the lawn, you would see little clumps of grass and stuff like that but when these guys come out, it would look crisp, clean and done great. I've had people come before that if I left a lawn chair but I forgot that they were coming in and I didn't move the chair on to my patio, they would just mow around it. These guys pick it and move it out of the way, do the whole thing, do it right and they do it really fast. I don't have any complaints. Anytime you have a question and anytime you call them or text message them or e-mail them, they get back to you right away.

My husband and I have very high expectations when it comes to hiring professionals for their services. We are both self-employed and we know how important it is to provide the best service to our customers- or we simply would not stay in business. There is no doubt in my mind that Jeff & his team are really focused on exceeding expectations and providing excellent service. What is most refreshing to me is that Jeff from the very beginning through the very end was always focused on making sure we were happy with the results. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but he definitely deserves it. I would highly recommend his company. A few things really impressed me: 1. Jeff always either answered his phone when we called or was very prompt in returning phone calls. This might seem like something you'd expect from any landscaping company, but if your experience is anything like ours in trying to find a good, reliable and consistent landscape company, you can probably agree this is more the exception than the rule. Jeff was great with prompt communication. 2. The price was reasonable and fair. We had received quotes from other landscapers, but it always seemed like their prices were inflated when they saw the neighborhood we lived in. So we really appreciated that Jeff's pricing was competitive and fair. 3. A+ for responding to any concerns / issues and making sure we were happy with the job that was done.

they always do a great job. They are mindful of my daughter's toys in the back if we forget to put them up. all around great to work with on any of our projects. I am pretty particular and had two other lawn groups before finding Jeff.

Jeff was great from start to finish. He accommodated my busy schedule and met me for a free consult one afternoon. We went over all of the work I wanted to be done and he gave me some suggestions based on what he saw. His quote came in much lower than other quotes I had received. Jeff was able to schedule the work much earlier than expected and his guys completed the work all on one Saturday. His crew was professional and fast. Jeff has been in constant contact with me since the completion of the job to help make sure I am pleased with the work and to give me tips on continuing to get the grass to thrive - he is even coming back out in a week free of charge to look it over, give me further advice, and even spread some more grass seed! I would highly recommend Kale Lawn Care to others!!

We had problems quite a few times - on two different properties we had Jeff maintain. I'm not sure Jeff ever came out to our property - he would send his guys every week, they'd run around with a blower - randomly blowing things around with little affect - and sending us bills. They would blow all the leaves on top of our pansies - killing the flowers that we had spent so much time and money planting. Several times his guys mowed when the yard was extremely soggy, leaving deep tire treads in the grass/mud. Our yard is in MUCH worse shape after Jeff's services. I realize we were paying for cutting only (although he would charge us $25 for the 3 minutes of blowing they were doing too) - however, if I owned a landscape company, I'd stop by the yards on a regular basis, offer services to improve and maintain the yard (fertilize, aerate, etc), and make sure my customers were happy. Several times I asked his crew not to come unless the grass needed mowing (in spanish and in english) - and each week they would reappear and blow again. Clearly there is no communication between Jeff and his guys - and no follow up from Jeff on whether customers are happy. After the third time I finally called Jeff directly and said "please do not ever come back"... and got an extremely RUDE voicemail message reply. So, I can say he's prompt in returning calls - but extremely unprofessional. Our neighbors have much better treatment from their landscape companies. I guess we should have paid the $30-35/per service the other companies wanted, because it will cost significantly more to repair the damage that Jeff has done than it would have been to pay more. and we often see the owners of the neighbor's companies coming by to evaluate their yards. I so disappointed.

Over the last 20 years we slowly lost about 6 feet of our back yard to erosion from our half acre pond. Kale Lawn Care reclaimed the lost area with 7 loads of fill and top soil, beautifully leveled and banked into the pond. They covered the pond bank with heavy landscape fabric and rip rap to prevent further erosion. After all was completed, the area was cleaned and covered with grass seed and straw, including repair and seeding of the equipment travel area from the road to the back. After approximately 4 months we are extremely happy with the job. Their pricing is very competitive and their work is excellent. It was such a pleasure to do business with an owner and workers that make it obvious their top aim is customer satisfaction! From my experience I give Kale Lawn Care my top recommendation.

Great. Jeff Kale is great to work with and very personal. His crew is friendly and gets right to work. Jeff is immediately responsive both by phone calls and text. We have used him since September to get our yard looking good and the grass lush and green. The yard looks awesome!

I setup an appt to get a quote on annual landscaping refresh for the natural areas around my house. after finally coming (after 1 reschedule which was no issue for me), he indicated that he would provide the quote via email in a day or two. Not only did I never receive the quote, he never even bothered to contact me again and now it has been 3 weeks since I saw him. I am now going to have to contact another landscaper, would not use this service again nor would I recommend to others. He has many positive reviews on angies list and I assume that means he does good work but in my case it was everything but stellar. EDIT: I received a phone call from this provider who stated that he had sent me the quote via email 2 days after meeting with me and suggested that I check my spam filters. I have (and did for 2 weeks) checked my spam filters and see no email from him. he also stated that he emailed it again today and I cannot find that email either (in my normal mail nor my spam). he read off to me the email he is using and it sounded correct so I am unsure what the problem may be. in fairness I wanted to post this update so that others would see that he made an attempt to contact me.

Jeff's crew arrived exactly when they were scheduled to. They went straight to work. I was present throughout the day and watched their progress as they graded the yard and rolled the sod. They wasted no time and I was impressed with their attention to detail and prep work. At one point during the cleanup process I noticed one worker with a blower cleaning my driveway in an area where they weren't even working. Much appreciated. Later that day after the work was complete, Jeff called me personally to ensure everything met my approval. I'm extremely impressed with Jeff's work and look forward to a continued relationship with them maintaining my yard. Highly recommend them!

He has always been thorough and once when the mower hit my house (stucco) he had it repair immediately and expertly. He just gave me an estimate for replacing my lawn with a different grass type that is very reasonable. He is the best.

I set up with them what I wanted done. I have a pretty small yard, so they use the small lawnmower. I saw them on Angie's List and I am happy with them. The owner is Jeff Kale and he came out personally and checked things out with me and found out what I wanted done. If I ever have a problem or if I want more services done, then I can call him and he answers right away. I don't have to leave a message. He just does whatever it is that I would ask him to do and there is no problem. He is very reasonable with his pricing.

I do not blog often about things. I just have to say that Jeff Kale and his staff are awesome! I happened to be at home when the lawn service came. I just receive fertilization service. No cutting and trimming. The crew arrived. I saw them do the front lawn, but not the back. But in fact they did. I emailed Jeff to bring this to his attention. Within 2 min he emailed me back and said that he had informed his crews not to treat snow covered areas. He told me in the email, he had told the crew to return to talk to me as they were still in the area. I told him they did not have to do that. They show up at my front door 10 minutes later. They explained to me that it is Lime they are laying down and that it is hard to see. They in fact, did treat the backyard. Long story short, the crew chief, was very professional and polite. As he is talking to me his crew is treating the lawn again with Lime, and blowing the driveway(again).He said he just wants all of his customers to be happy with the service. I can not say enough about them. Thanks Kale Lawn, and thanks Jeff! I highly recommend!

When I call Kale he was very professional told me what he thought it was and guessed at how long the water had been running, based on having just repaired another one like it. He quoted me $350 and told me someone would be out the next day to repair and winterize the system. I was concerned that I wouldn't be home to write a check and he said that it wouldn't be a problem, he would bill me. He also advised me to submit the bill to the utility company to request a credit since it wasn't water usage. The work was done and looks great, the quality of the materials actually looks better than what was there. I will not hesitate to call Kale landscaping again.
