Les is a gem of a find He takes his time to review your request, makes a plan and provides a quote. We first hired Lest back in 2011 when he built the most amazing screen enclosed deck on the back of our home. Seriously the best decision and investment for our home! Since then we have reached out to Les for handyman jobs from carpentry touch ups to water damage repair around our windows. WENT VERY WELL ALWAYS ON TIME AND ALWAYS GOT DONE WITH WHAT THEY SAID THEY WAS GOING TO GET DONE IN A CERTAIN TIME FRAME VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK.

IGC was on time, on budget, and they also provided extra ideas for storage we needed. All of the work IGC does is professional and well crafted. We couldn't be more pleased with the team.

We used IGC Home Services to clean and stain our deck in 2010. The stain lasted so well that we decided to hire IGC again!

Les and his crew did a great job. We are very happy with result. One of the best contractors we have ever used.

Once we agreed to re-wash and re-stain the deck, we asked if maybe we should wait and do it in the fall that way we could prolong the stain since it wouldn't have the harsh summer sun on it. He agreed to that. We tried to schedule him in October and November of 2011 but due to our schedule, his schedule and the weather, we were unable to get him to come out at that time. We were also currently pregnant and expecting our first child in March 2012 so the deck kind of got put to the back burner. We contacted him again several times and after waiting MULTIPLE days sometimes for a response we were finally able to get the deck re-done in late May 2012. This was AFTER he assured us he would get it done by mid to late April but that never happened. We basically had to get pretty nasty to get him to come out and do the job. He came out one day (Thursday) and washed the deck and was supposed to come back the next day (Friday) to stain it. He didn't show until late in the afternoon that Friday and the stain did not match. He offered to get more brown added to the stain so it would match and he would come back next week once it was a nice day. The next week it ended up raining a lot and Friday was the first day he was able to come out due to the weather and other jobs. He advised us he would be out on Friday afternoon and he never showed. We called to leave him a msg. but he never responded. He finally called on Monday and advised he would be coming out. We were not going to be home on Monday but he promised to make sure the stain matched or he would not continue. We were not able to get a good look at the finished product until Tuesday and it was a DISASTER! There were runs everywhere. There were places that hadn't even gotten any stain because you could see bare wood. There was stain splatter on our cream siding and our brick foundation. There were many spots on the floor where there was too much stain in one spot and not enough in another spot. It looked TERRIBLE! We contacted Les about this and he became very defensive. He even tried to accuse us of doing something to the deck because he stated he was fine when he left. He didn't leave us any leftover stain so I don't know how he thought we would have done something to it. We continued corresponding with Les back and forth through several emails. He did eventually offer to come back out and fix it as best he could but only after we took photos of some of the issues and sent those to him. He stated our deck needed to be replaced and most of the issues were because the wood was old. We had previously asked him several times if we needed to replace the decking and he stated it was still good wood and still had a few good years left. We thought this was honorable of him to say that, especially since we probably would have paid him to do the work. As stated, he did eventually offer to rectify the situation but he had already insulted us by this point and had soured the relationship. For someone who is self-employed, some of his responses to us were VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! We advised him we would take care of the situation ourselves even though we didn't feel we should have to. We found it very disconcerting that when we were paying him to do the work in 2009 the work was almost flawless, but when we weren't paying him in 2012, he did less than stellar work. We now have a very large deck that looks worse now than it did before he started the re-do. We were very unsatisfied with the entire situation and how Les handled things. When we advised we would be writing a review on Angie's list he basically informed us that some people could never be satisfied. We think if anyone is going to get him to do work at their home, they need to think long and hard about it. We would also make sure to be at home when the work is being done so that you can supervise and alert him immediately if there are any issues. Good luck!

Les provided a written estimate of my various tasks. Then upon acceptance of his quote, he presented a detailed written estimate. The work started and they never seemed to stop. Each day Les and his team cleaned up everything! They arrived on time and even added little details that I had neglected. We are more than pleased with Les, his team, and his work. I would not hesitate to call him again and highly recommend him!

The project went just as I had expected...and everyone thinks that we made a huge improvement, especially my wife.

IGC designed and built us a deck with an arbor in 2006. Based on that experience we sought out their bid for the bath and it was the best design, schedule estimate and cost. IGC has forthright, hard working and professional employees and subcontractors.They reflect the values and standard for quality of the owner Les Howington who has demonstrated the best work ethic and personal integrity I have seen in the construction industry. As usual the rennovation work scope had to be modified based on the issues found with our 1946 house and Les was innovative and extremely flexible in bring the project to a happy ending.Passed all inspections with no issues.

I had an appointment with Les the owner of the company to come out and give me an estimate for building a deck on 3/15/11 between 6:30- 7:00 PM. When Les didn't call or show up after 7:00 PM I called him and left a voice mail but I have never heard back from him. I definetily would not consider using this company for any work now or in the future.

He did a fine job. He has done other work for me in the past. He was nice enough to come by when we were having work done on the outside of our house to make sure they were doing it right. It is not even his compnay. He did it as a favor to me. He is a great contractor to have. He seems like a very honest person. He is a family man. My dog loves him! That says a lot because she does not take to a lot of people. He is always willing to do anything I need done, even if it is a small job. It was not an unreasonable amount for the work. He does really good work and he is an honest person. If he is late he generally calls me to let me know he is running late.

Had IGC come and offer an estimate and review condition of our wood deck in order to pressure wash/ stain. Was given a written estimate which was within our budget and we hired them. They came on day we scheduled and performed work as stated. We are happy with the work done and would use them for this service or consider other services they offer for our future projects.

The work was performed promptly, and for the price agreed to. The contractor was able to perform the work about two weeks after I intially contacted him.

Most every project I've ever been involved with will have at least one little snag, but the true worth of a contractor is measured by how he deals with them. Les satisfied us thoroughly in every way, and without any argument. When the footers were being dug, a telephone cable was cut, but it was repaired almost before I even knew it had been cut. He worked with us to make sure that we were totally satisfied in every way. His crew was quite capable and they kept the worksite clean and safe. I have used them since to install some bathroom safety rails after my knee surgery, and was equally satisfied.

Les and his crew completed the remodel in a professional and timely manner. I would recommend and have my next year's wish list already in mind.

Les gave us a quote which was very reasonable. He kept in constant contact as to when he would be arriving and starting a project. He completed projects in the timeframe that was determined. He cleaned up the work space each day, and started promptly each day as indicated. He was professional in all aspects of his work and manner. I would have Les (IGC Home Services) do ANY project in our home and feel comfortable with his work.

Les came and gave us his estimate. He ordered the materials needed. There was a delay on the part of the supplier, but Les stayed in touch, so we knew what was happening. On the day after the materials, he and his assistant arrived on time, and worked their magic. In two days, the project was completed with every finishing touch taken care of. They worked quietly, kept everything clean, and were always pleasant.

Les always returns phone calls and is quite willing to come out and perform even slight repairs. We have used him for other jobs before joining Angie's List. It is refreshing to meet someone who is honest and fair with everyone. And our dog even loves him.

They were excellent and went beyond the original plans to make sure the finished product would work.

Les and his crew, Kerrie, Chris and Darrell were wonderful to work with. I was informed of a short delay in our estimated start date. I was expecting friends from Seattle and the guys worked very hard to have the deck functional for their stay. The wood needed drying time and once I picked out the stain color, Les was back to finish up the job. They were polite, and made sure I could get out the back with our dog while construction was in progress. They were able to add on a couple extra items we needed repaired while they were here. I would definitely call on them for other home repair.

They did a terrific job. They were very very nice, nicest people that have ever worked with me. They were just great. Worked from dawn until dusk. I would recommend them to anyone.

Les was the most courteous and professional builder we met (we received four bids on the deck). He and the team were on time, hard working and extremely friendly. He addressed any problems quickly (and the only one was the damaged house band). If I ever had a question, he was prompt in returning phone calls (usually within a couple of hours). In the initial bid, he worked with us to meet our budget and time constraint while making us feel like his number one customer. The deck was finished within days and it is beautiful! We have received so many compliments from friends, neighbors and even our landscaper! We plan on using Les and his team to replace the old doors that lead out to the deck with french doors. He has already looked and priced doors for us. This kind of service makes IGC Home Services stand out among the rest!

Les came out to meet with me very quickly after my email requesting information. He provided his thoughts about how to make the repairs, which I certainly appreciated. He provided an estimate to me very quickly and it was not only less than the other companies I had talked to, but I felt more comfortable with Les doing this work. He scheduled the job within a couple of weeks, as I had requested and completed the job in the timeframe he promised. I was very pleased and will certainly call Les for future jobs, as needed. I was delighted with the work and also with the level of customer service.

Les was very professional as well as very nice. He was always prompt in returning calls and even helped us design our space. He went way beyond the call of duty, and we have already recommended him to others. It has been a great experience working with him.
