Heritage Landscaping

The visit was covered under our monthly garden service. Shawn goes out of his way to always help us. We had gotten a very high water bill and the plumbing company that we called out to look at it said it was our irrigation system. We called Heritage Landscaping to come take a look. We ended up finding out that it was the water company that we needed to deal with. Heritage was very good though. They are always incredibly responsive and helpful.

Someone in the neighborhood recommended Heritage because we kept getting big charges from two other companies we used and not a lot of reliability, and we were kind of sick of it. Shawn is the owner and Nelson is his "second in command". I have worked with both gentlemen over the course of two years and I am so happy when I do. These guys really care about what they do, they are very prompt, they really want to make you happy. Whenever there has been a question or problem (we had irrigation leaks), they are very thorough about trying to make sure every area is covered. The have a monthly cost of about $200 ( it may be different from lawn to lawn...we have a larger lawn that needs a lot) and they let you know what other services they offer and what it will cost. They never charge you for anything they haven't done or said they would do. The people really are the best, though. They make the company.

Overall poor. Poor communication, no advance notice for day(s) of work, no follow-through, not responsive to my calls. Installed flower beds without properly killing grass underneath. Despite numerous request did not provide names of plants or care instructions.

THEY MADE PROMISES THAT MY YARD WOULD BE IN TIP-TOP CONDITION AFTER SIGNING A CONTRACT FOR A YEAR. IT IS NOT. MY YARD STILL HAS A LOT OF WEEDS. THEY DID NOT NOTIFY AFTER THEY TREATED THE YARD SO I DIDN'T KNOW WHEN TO WATER THE LAWN. THEY PUT IN FLOWERS AND SOME PLANTINGS THAT LOOKED VERY SKIMPY, AND THE PLANTS DIED IN THE BACK. IT WAS JUST A MESS. THE MOWING WAS PRETTY GOOD. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS BAD.
