Great! We set up a time to meet at the house and he was early. He put a thorough quote together (including ideas for the future with plantings, etc) which was extremely competitive and started work the next week. This was 3 months ago and so far I'm very happy (which says a lot having gone through 5 lawn services in the past.)

Benjamin responded promptly to my query by coming over a giving a free estimate. A team of four worked for four hours and cleared out years' worth of weeds, vines, and volunteer trees from the back and side yards. They trimmed some low-hanging tree limbs and bushes around the house, and removed grape ivy which had been growing on the house. They cleaned the gutters and removed all the trimmings and debris. They were extremely easy to work with, arrived promptly and made good suggestions. I was amazed at how much they accomplished in just four hours, and at a very reasonable price. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

We actually won an hour's worth of work by a five-man team in a Silent Auction (Hampton Scape had donated it to a Breast Cancer fundraiser). Benjamin was great. He came out to our house a few days before the team and helped us figure out how to best use the allotted time - with him keeping track in his head of about how long everything would take. Benjamin and the team showed up on time and proceeded to do all of the work we had agreed upon. When the work went a little longer than anticipated, he didn't charge us for the overage. In addition, Benjamin was a fountain of useful information about how we should care for our different plants, shrubs, etc. Unfortunately, I didn't write anything down and now I've forgotten most of it. Next time I'm going to take notes. The whole experience was what one would hope for in hiring a landscaper and the results looked terrific.

We began using Hamptonscape last month when we moved into our new house. Benjamin happened to have the lowest estimate ($30 per visit) so we went with him. Our yard is currently covered in weeds and it's pointless to do anything about removing them until the fall. Benjamin was great in suggesting that he only come every other week to save us money and offered to cut the weeds super short so that the cut would last. I've found Benjamin to be incredibly responsive and professional!

They were punctual and very easy to work with. They were very efficient and quick as well.

Very professional and thorough. The crew ran into problems with the old red tips that had been removed - the stumps were not ground deep enough. They stuck with the job and manually dug out the stumps, which was a very tedious and hard process. Benjamin recommended 4 different types of bushes that would work for the area, and gave us the pros and cons for each type. Based on this information, we chose something more resilient than we had planned and we're very happy with the results. The trees are full and beautiful, very healthy, and planted very well. Aesthetically, they are perfect for the space. I love the look, the guarantee that comes with the plants, and the fact that he will come back and prune them next year to help me get started with shaping them properly. Excellent company to do business with.

I contacted Benjamin via email to request leaf service. It took him a couple of days to respond, but he was professional and prompt after that. I sent an email a few weeks before I needed my leaves removed, and his team came on the specified day. They did a great job removing the leaves - they even cleaned out our clogged gutters as a bonus! I paid less than I expected. Benjamin was also very honest when I asked how many more times he felt he needed to come out. I will use Hampton Scape in the future.

Benjamin and his team of four arrived around the time expected. He gave me suggestions on the best use of my money considering my desire to put my house on the market in the near future. He advised against spending money unnecessarily for additional plants and gave me inexpensive solutions for adding color and interest to my front yard. He also offered to come back as needed to tidy up the lawn and landscape for a very reasonable cost. Benjamin and his team spent about an hour working on my landscape and left me with a very tidy lawn and nicely shaped plants.

They provided just what we needed. They came as scheduled. We started walking through our list and Benjamin had his guys get started on some pruning as we finished reviewing the list. They worked hard all morning and got through almost everything on the list. The result was a much more manageable yard.

I feel very fortunate in finding this lawn maintenance company. Benjamin has been a joy to work with. He comes when promised, phones if there is any change whatsoever and answers e-mails nightly all for a very reasonable price. The two men who work for him are VERY hardworking. They never stop and talk, they just work and do everything they are supposed to do. I feel very comfortable with them in my yard and around my house. Benjamin even performs extra tasks that I have not anticipated, such as blowing fall leaves out of my gutters. He trims shrubs when asked and will spray all weeds, apply fertilizers, and seed in the fall. I would highly recommend him as I feel that he does excellent work and is very dedicated to his business.

Second year I have used Hampton Scape. Benjamin is great to work with, very prompt and delivers what he promises. He understands needs for my (very shady) yard. Pine straw was the best quality I've ever had.

The job went beautifully. From start to finish, Benjamin was prompt with emails, and all communication. Since it was a small job, he was able to get to it right away. He and two others arrived at 8:00 am, and began immediately doing the job. They pulled up all weeds from the garden, trimmed bushes, staked up some roses that were out of control, defined and manicured the beds, and put fresh pine bark nuggets on all beds. They did a wonderful job. They cleaned up and removed all weeds and trimmings. They were very professional, and gave me great ideas on keeping the beds manicured. I will call them again when things need to be done in the garden. I highly recommend this company.

They did a fabulous job. Benjamin is very professional and will tell you where it is smart to spend your money and where it isn't. He also tells you what you can do yourself and what you should hire a professional to do. Very refreshing in this day and time. We will use Benjamin for all our landscaping needs.

Benjamin and his team came out to look at my house. We told them what we wanted to spend, and my brother provided several ideas based on what he had seen at other houses. Benjamin was there when he said he would be, and showed me some different options based on the feedback he received from us. He was very upfront with costs and effort, and definitely gave me more than my money's worth. They always did everything better than expected (e.g. instead of just stacking my stones in a pile, they made a "fence" around my air conditioning unit). I specifically asked form something that would required the least amount of upkeep, while still looking great, and they delivered! They were able to finish in two 1/2 days, and I plan on using them for more work in the summer.

Benjamin contacted me within a few hours of my request and came out the next morning for a quote. He scheduled the work for a few days later and arrived on time to complete the work. He is very professional and a pleasure to work with.

I have used Hampton Scape four times for various jobs. The first time was Fall 2007 to trim bushes and remove debris($200). I had the same service performed in Fall 2008 and asked for advise on what to do with a storm drain area that wasn't draining correctly. Benjamin provided good advice along with a reasonable quote. He was able to schedule the storm drain job a few weeks later. Each time I have made an appointment with Benjamin he arrived on time and was very professional. Clean up was exceptional. I have tried several other landscaping and yard services and this is the only one that I have called back for repeat visits. Very satisfied.
