HAMPTON SCAPE

This is the 4th time that Benjamin has been to my house. He provides exceptional service. He calls when he says he will call and he comes when he says he is. If the weather interferes with his schedule, he works on Sundays to make up for it. He is extremely thorough and the workers he employs are meticulous. He is always there to not only supervise but to do much of the work himself. I wouldn't think of hiring anyone else. Today he dug up 11 azaleas and hostas and trimmed all shrubs in the front, on the sides, and in the back. He then took what he had dug up to my daughter's house and planted them for her. He provides a level of service that is unmatched.

I have about .5 acres of land and am a little slack about keeping up with the yard work. Not only was Benjamin flexible about doing the grass every OTHER week, but I thought his price was more than fair. Additionally, when I had let the grass grow too high and actually received a notice from the city, he rushed over the very next day and took care of it to keep me out of trouble!

Benjamin responded promptly to email requests for information and provided honest feedback about his availability--such professionalism can be hard to find! During the assessment of work needed, Benjamin gave suggestions for how we could accomplish various landscaping projects--helping us consider long term goals. Benjamin himself was on-site with his crew, arriving as scheduled and working diligently to complete the job. We were pleased to discover that even a few perennials had old growth trimmed--a nice bonus! We will definitely call upon Hampton Scape in the future.

I contacted the owner, Benjamin and explained our needs and the fact that we were on a bit of a time crunch. He came by the next day to walk the property and provide me with an estimate and explained that he was not certain if he would be able to get the job completed by the time schedule that I had requested but that he would make every effort to do so and would let me know as quickly as possible if his projected completion date differed too far from the date I had requested. Benjamin contacted me within 48 hours and let me know he could have the job completed within the time frame I desired. Overall great job - work was completed by Benjamin himself and 2 of his workers and they really did a very through job. Upon completion of the job, Benjamin made the offer of coming back by if we had a big showing scheduled and he would "spruce up the beds a bit." I highly recommend Hampton Scape and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Benjamin contacted me promptly and came out quickly for an estimate of the work. He was very professional and knowledgeable about his job. We are planning to put our house on the market and Benjamin pointed out the best ways to make our yard look great for the least amount of investment. His crew was quick, professional, thorough, and pleasant to work with. Our yard looks wonderful and we are delighted with the outcome and the cost involved.

It was fantastic! This is the second time that Benjamin has come to my house to trim my shrubs and I will never use anyone else. He and I were in touch this fall and he suggested that I wait until January to do the heavy trimming. We were in touch by email and phone over the winter and set the appointment for Saturday. He called Saturday morning to tell me they were running a little late because of the rain the previous day. He said he would be at my house at one o'clock and he was here a few minutes early. He and his crew worked non-stop for over two hours to complete the job. He will be coming back this spring to do some overseeding.

After I called for a quote in December, Ben called back from out of town to tell me that he would not be back in town until January, at which time he could do the work if I could wait a couple weeks. Having used Ben's services before, I was perfectly happy to wait since I was confident in the quality of his work. His quote of $350 was reasonable for the work to do, plus the other contractor I contacted never bothered to call me back with a quote. Ben's crew became available a day earlier than planned, so he called me. They arrived around 2 PM and were finished by 5 PM, using 3 people and considerable machinery. Ben also provided some good tips for things I could do to further enhance the yard appearance.

Mr. Manfree gave me estimate and scheduled work same day. He came back with 2-3 other workers, and completed the task of spreading large pile of mulch in quick time. They went above and beyond and made the area look great! Any extra mulch was spread in other areas, and they even removed "garbage" in the mulch. I really feel that they did a super job and were very dependable. I would definitely hire them again for most other lawn projects, too.

Ben even surprised our children with personalized stones in a prominent flower bed. Instructions for watering, fertilizing, and pest control were clear and on-target.

Arrived early in the day with one assistant. Notified us that he was here to start work. Proceeded to perform work described above and worked until finished, about four hours later. Notified us when he was finished. We inspected the work and were completely satisfied with all work performed.

So far, so good. We're very happy. Benjamin showed great initiative by proposing the fence removal that he knew I would be paying the fence company for. He saved me money and separated himself from the other bidders. He also was very accurate in estimating the dirt needed. One bidder said I needed no dirt. Benjamin brought in enough to level the yard and fill in some extra spots. Summer is a bad time to seed, but Benjamin seeded anyway and promised to do a thorough reseeding in the fall. For now, the summer seeding is taking root a little and the hay is keeping the soil from eroding or blowing away. If the fall work goes well, I'll be updating this report with more good news. As of now, we really like Hampton Scape and appreciate the great work.

Ben was prompt when returning calls, providing an estimate and completing the work. His pricing was competitive with other estimates received, however, his professionalism set him above the competition. Furthermore, Hampton Scape now does my weekly mowing.

Job 1: Awesome!! Benjamin performed the work when he said he would. The pruning was completed as we discussed (with the debris hauled off) and he refused payment until we could view the work in daylight. I'll use Hampton Scape again and again! Job 2: This was our 2nd opportunity to use Benjamin and Hampton Scape. The first time was great, Benjamin was there when he said he'd be there, did exactly what was asked and charged no more than he originally quoted. The first visit was no fluke! Again, Benjamin arrived when he said he would, brought plenty of help, did everything we originally discussed and more, the price was as discussed and fair, and the quality of work was top notch!! Benjamin is very good with offering suggestions and proposing solutions. It's refreshing to find a contractor who understands the value of being on time and giving the customer what has been promised at a fair prier. We'll continue to use Benjamin as our sole source for all of our lawn and yard work needs!!

They came over with a big hauler and filled it to the top of weeds and leaves. All the debris was removed from our yard in a very fast, professional manner. Benjamin did what he said he would get done! We hired this company to do our bi-weekly lawn care.

Benjamin was very quick to return my call and to come look over my job and give an estimate. He e-mailed his estimate and the work was scheduled. He actually was able to do the work sooner than originally scheduled. He knew we were preparing for an outdoor party in a few weeks and kept this in mind as he scheduled our work. He and his crew arrived around 9:00 am and were finished in one day. I am very pleased and will use Hampton Scape in the fall to improve the quality of my grassed areas of lawn and for regular maintenance after that. Benjamin is very professional and is a pleasure to work with. He has good ideas and suggestions. I highly recommend him.

After contacting numerous tree removers, landscapers and lawn/yard companies from Angie's List, Ben stood out as the most professional, friendly and knowledgeable of the bunch. He matched the lowest bid I received and made me feel the most comfortable because of his expertise. He owns all his own equipment and all of his guys are on the books. Contacting him was easy because he responds to email usually within 24 hours. He answered all of my questions and met with me about three times before the actual work so that we both had a clear understanding of what the yard should look like. He offered his opinion on what trees to keep and advised on what we could plant around the deck that would be easy to maintain. The whole clearing was finished in about 9 hours! I was amazed! We are using Ben for grass cutting this summer, will start a yearly contract with him in the fall, and he is going to help us plant/design the front yard and around our new deck. He is the best!

Ben and his crew did a fantastic job. He responded in just hours to my request for a quote. He was also able to come over the next day to review the work needed. He is very knowledgeable about plants and how to treat them. He made great suggestions that improved the look of my over landscaped yard. I have too many bushes planted to close to the house. Many bushes were growing on top of each other. He was able to determine what should go and what should stay. He explained everything in detail and explained the pros and cons. He cleaned everything up and made it look really good. He was very professional, prompt and honest. I highly recommend using him for any landscaping projects.

Even though he did more then he said he was going to the price stayed the same. I can't say enough good things about him.

I feel funny writing this because Benjamin was so amazing and is now a part of our family! He was immediately responsive, unbelievably honest, and unendingly professional. He understands how his work affects the whole family and is very careful to minimize the disruption. I have passed his name along to so many people and look forward to his success in years to come!

Ben is AWESOME! He knew exactly what to do to make the place look better in the most economical way. Ben has a great eye and makes wonderful suggestions. I really appreciated that he spent my money as his own. He is extremely flexible and willing to work with me in whatever way works best for me or my tenants.
