Description of Work: Imagine my surprise one spring day to come home to discover that four of my 4-foot tall oak leaf hydrangeas missing. You don't ever expect landscaping to be missing. My plants had been hastily dug up and the roots cut. I then discovered my hydrangeas in my neighbors' yard - in extremely shallow holes. My neighbors were out of the country at the time: I assumed their lawn maintenance company GROWING LEGACY was responsible. This was confirmed by my neighbor's daughter when I informed her of the incident. I also told her I was replanting my hydrangeas. I went to a nursery and bought expensive soil to help facilitate the plants' rehabilitation, dug up the plants, trimmed them, and replanted them. David, the owner of GROWING LEGACY, came over later the next week to explain a "miscommunication" and said many of his employees did not understand or speak English. The instructions from the homeowners had been to duplicate my landscaping plan onto their property. My neighbors were horrified that my plants were stolen and planted on their property. David did even not offer to pay for the soil. In fact, David did not offer to do anything. I hand watered the plants every day for the rest of the summer. I had not thought about posting this to Angie's List until I found a coupon from GROWING LEGACY in my mailbox today. They say the best way to judge is company is how it behaves AFTER an incident. My neighbor discontinued using this company.

It has been great. It's usually about 3 guys. There is a little bit of a language barrier but they usually understand for the most part.
Description of Work: They mow, fertilize, cut trees and bushes, and weed eating.
