The store we used was actually the South Boulevard location that is no longer open. We were one of the first customers to have such a big order when the store first opened. We were very happy with the sales people at the store, but not so impressed with the installation crew. Since the installers are contract employees the store had no responsibility when they made errors. We had to have some problems in our first floor fixed after the initial crew completed the installation. This was a very large job and we did feel as though the installers were rushing through it. After the hallway was completed we had a board crack. We also noticed that the molding that was used on the stairs is not the correct molding for that type of area. I have called several store locations and spoken with several store managers to try to get on the installers list for a repair and they all promise results, but no one has called me back. I am willing to pay the labor cost for the repair.
Description of Work: In June 2005 we had all of the flooring on our first floor removed and replaced with the wood laminent floor. Then a few weeks after that we had the upstairs hallway done in the same flooring.

When they arrived they asked for $400 more to do the work, because the installer said he needed plywood and more underlayment to be able to complete the job, (even though we already had underlayment). The installers were cutting the wood on the front porch and left trash and nails all over the front porch and yard. I asked if they would be cleaning it up, and they said they had to go. We also paid Floors Today for furniture moving, but the installers would not move the furniture back afterwards, and said that it was our responsibility (left furniture in bathrooms, etc.). They ended up damaging the floor with the refrigerator, and their response was that the refrigerator was simply too heavy (they finally replaced the damaged pieces). They also covered over one of the air vents and had to redo the area. I had to make three trips to the land fill to dump their left-over trash. The floors are beautiful, but we had multiple problems with the installer.
Description of Work: Installed hardwood in kitchen, breakfast room, 3 bedrooms. J Wood Corp is the sub-contractor who Floors Today uses, and sent out on my job.
