This is an appointment only business located which was easy to locate off of Main Street in downtown Pineville. I left a voicemail Monday morning prior to them opening and received a prompt phone call back and since I would just need to drop the cushions off to be refilled I was able to do that the same day. I received my cushions when I requested them and the process was very easy. Pam was terrific to work with and answered the questions I had as well as made some recommendations for the cushion backs. She showed me what our cushions had in them and it resembled what comes in cheap dog pillows which was disheartening for an expensive Broyhill brand couch that was about 4 years old. Our cushions were dropping, lumpy and had lost their shape, but now they look brand new and are a superior quality thanks to the shop. I would highly recommend this business and look forward to referring and using them in the future.

I am extremely happy that I discovered Davis Upholstery Shop on Angie's List. Darryl delivered my wingback chairs today 7/29/15. I can't stop looking at them. They are beautiful. Darryl is amazing. He is patient and professional. I have a huge 3 piece sectional that he will tackle next. I am confident that it too will be beautiful. I highly recommend Davis Upholstery Shop. Daryl Davis contacted me quickly and was able to get me in within a few weeks. He picked up both my chairs when he said he would and completed the job as promised. His work was excellent and I would definitely use him again!

I contacted Davis Upholstery about having a chair reupholstered. They were very easy to work with. They asked me to email photos of the front, side and back of the chair so they could send me an estimate and let me know how much fabric I would need. I purchased the fabric I wanted and made an appointment to deliver the chair and fabric. They did offer to pick the chair up (very nice of them) but they were nearby so I dropped it off on my lunch hour. They recommended that silver brads might look better with the fabric I chose than the brass ones that were on the chair when I brought it in. I agreed and appreciated that they thought of changing the color. When I picked the chair up, I could not believe the difference. It was beautiful!!! They even re-stuffed the cushion because it was very flat with age (it is an old chair that my family purchased at an auction about 25 years ago). I love the chair and it looks amazing now. I get compliments on it regularly.

They did a great job. One dining chair was broken and I asked if they could repair it. Now that they are back, I can't even tell which one was broken. And the cushions for my deck furniture are beautiful. They were fast too - it was all done within a week. I am so glad I found them and would definitely use them again if I need upholstery work done.

A very pleasant experience.

Went really well. I dropped off the chair seats on Thursday and picked them up the next day. I brought my own fabric. Mr. Davis and his daughter, Pam, were very professional, friendly and accommodating. The chairs had leather on them that had been attached with a pneumatic gun, so it was not easy to remove and reattach. Mr. Davis transferred the number of each seat to the outside covering so I could match the covers with the right chairs.

Mr Davis did a great job on my loveseat. I was really happy with the way it turned out, the piping and the skiirt and cushions all look awesome. It was a very professional job and I would consider getting something done there again. It only took a week to have it done and I liked that he took the loveseat only when he was ready to start working on it and it was back in no time.

He does a good job. He is a nice person. I even got an extra little pillow with my order.

The leather office chair was left in my parent's damp basement for years. The basement was being remodeled and I took the chair home with me. I didn't know where to go to get it repaired and it had a bad musty smell from being in the damp basement for so long. I found Ed on Angie's List, liked the reviews and called Ed to see if he could re-upholster the chair. After looking at the chair he said that the leather was still good, and told me how to remove the musty smell without damaging the leather. All he needed to do was replace the tacks and being able to keep the original leather was an added bonus. I would recommend and use Ed again.

On Monday morning, Mr. Davis' brother arrived and picked up the couch. The next morning, Mr. Davis called and said the couch was repaired and would be delivered that morning. When the couch arrived, my wife was thrilled with the results. Mr. Davis did an excellent job using the arm chair covers to replace the damaged material on the front and side of the couch..
